Chapter 46: Day Three
“Mmm… Am I a bit out of place to go over and say hi now?”
Hearing Lan Feng Su Yu’s pitiful tone, Night Star felt a little awkward too.
After all, these past few days, she’d been treated really well, even getting meals—her likeability stat was maxed out!
But then?
In the end, it turned out just like when Mo Tu casually “hooked her” and left. He was basically the worst of the worst.
But Night Star only saved Lotus out of desperation; she wasn’t trying to take advantage of Lan Feng Su Yu’s feelings at all.
By the way, Mo Tu was also quite a snide character, deliberately making things difficult in front of Lan Feng Su Yu.

Mo Yu immediately went into lecturing mode.
Despite her lazy tone, Night Star still felt rather guilty, though whether she’d actually listen was another story.
She was determined to save Lotus, and nothing could stop her, not even the night watchers.

Lan Feng Su Yu gave Mo Yu a displeased glance, saying, “Alright, alright. Mo Yu, you’re so nagging. Let’s go eat dinner first, we’re starving after working hard all day.”
Mo Yu raised an eyebrow but decided to stop lecturing.
“Okay.”
Night Star felt relieved under her breath, happy to finally avoid another annoying lecture.

All the night watchers, including those at the sunlight level, returned from outside and gathered at Mo Tu’s location.
“Hey there, you guys must be tired. How was your day?” Mo Tu sat in a chair, chuckling.
Wang Chao, who came from Yun Chang City, sat on the side with a nonchalant look.
“Ask me anything, Ji. Who knows how many incompetent teammates have ambushed me? They all acted like they were Star Eclipses, yet they could easily use their stars. They’re even more disgusting than the numerous citizens. Could I slack off like you and stay in the base?”
Mo Tu burst out laughing.
“Don’t exaggerate. I’m working too, you know. But if circumstances allowed, I’d go out wild like you. Isn’t it more fun to roam around?”
“Yeah, yeah, if I could, I’d swap places with you.”
For the first time, Wang Chao found Mo Tu’s ugly face really irritating.
This is how Yun Chang City’s number one mysterious Sunlight night watcher is?
Totally in love.
Then Mo Tu shifted his gaze to Chi Hao, smirking mysteriously.
“I’ve seen your star data. I know what you did today. You’re going to do that, right?”
“Yes,” Chi Hao nodded without denying.
“Good, I fully support you.”
Wang Chao looked puzzled, “Guys, can’t you just speak normally? Which one of you?”
“Just that one,” Mo Tu responded, clearly teasing him.
Wang Chao said nothing but decided not to ask anymore.
Being a slack-off was better anyway.
Mo Tu smiled slightly, focusing on Yao Can, who was silent, and Yan Que, who was expressionless.
“You both deal with those special puppets mainly. Otherwise, night watchers will be wiped out soon. Your stars are useful during this Star Eclipse. Just follow your instincts. I’ll notify you if anything comes up.”
Both nodded silently.
Yao Can shot a glance at Mo Tu, “Isn’t there something else you want to say?”
“There is.”
“What?”
“Should I treat you all to beef noodles tonight?” Mo Tu smiled.
Yao Can stared at Mo Tu’s smile, unimpressed, sensing Mo Tu was hiding something. He then turned and left.
This guy had a lot of secrets, likely tied to the Supernova Star Eclipse.
If not for the urgent situation, Yao Can would have grilled him out.
Sometimes having teammates like this can really test your stress levels.
After Yao Can left, Chi Hao and Yan Que followed suit.
Only Wang Chao remained interested, watching like he was enjoying the spectacle.
“Hey, were you serious about treating us to beef noodles tonight?”
“Wanna eat?” Wang Chao retorted, “Who would turn down free dinner?”
Mo Tu just smiled and got up to leave.
“Don’t believe me, just ask. I don’t have any money.”
Wang Chao stared in disbelief, watching Mo Tu walk away, shaking his head again.
“What kind of person is this?”

Time passed quickly.
Day Three.
The night watchers set out once again, following Mo Tu’s guidance.
Sunlight-level night watchers led the charge.
Wherever Yao Can went, everyone under the control of thin threads seemed frozen in place, with their joints locking.
The star called Rust quietly took effect, turning the area temporarily desolate.
Chi Hao kept changing positions, sauntering along and changing direction as if he intended to see everything in the city, leaving mysterious flame marks in every corner.
Yan Que walked confidently among them, unafraid of the puppet attacks around him.
Meanwhile, the puppets continued with their duties, seemingly indifferent to Yan Que’s presence, having lost all aggression.
As for Wang Chao?
He sneaked forward like a rat, trying to remain unnoticed.
At base exit.
Night Star stuffed little loli Lotus into a small backpack, ready to continue searching for Lotus.
Tap tap!
Night Star softly patted her smooth cheeks, reddening them slightly before regaining her energy.
“Hmm, I need to keep searching for Lotus today. No slacking off.”
Resolved, Night Star summoned her courage and stepped out of Mo Tu’s domain.
Leaving that area, a ghost girl descended from the sky, joining her at the side.
“Good morning, Night Star~”
“Morning to you too.”
Last night, when Night Star returned to the base, she had asked Eypar to wait nearby.
Though it was lonely, Eypar seemed not to mind.
She forgot all previous troubles upon seeing Night Star again, her hairlike antenna bouncing merrily, indicating her happiness.
“Let’s try our best today.”
“Hmm.”

Yay, it’s time to release another chapter!
There’s not much important content in this dedication post, mostly just basic book information.
Regarding character relationships, it’s single focus with light romance. There’s no specific pairing, and the female characters and the protagonist maintain a friendly bond. Whether they stay that way is anyone’s guess—everyone can speculate!
But you know, our two adorable daughters are loyal singles, convinced that being a mini loli is the coolest thing ever.
With Night Star and Night Lan together, they can enjoy easy, carefree lives without seeking partners.
Even though we say that, other cute girls will always be around them, so no need to worry for readers.
Regarding self-marriage… no way!
After all, sharing a soul between bodies is like using your hands. It’s just odd sometimes.
But it doesn’t affect their interaction—they both like each other’s type.
Those who read this far should understand that having two bodies allows for more complex plots and chance encounters with cute girls—ignore the last part.
