Kuro sat across from Night Star Lan and asked a question.
“Where did you come from? Where are you going?”
“Don’t know.”
“Do you have a place to stay?”
“Nope.”
“What do you want to do? Any goals?”
Night Star Lan pondered for a moment before inspiration struck.
“Can I stay here?”
“Why?”
“Because I want Hilo to feel my warmth!”
Kuro blinked in surprise, then burst into laughter.
“Ha ha ha~ You’re really amusing, human! Your enthusiasm for Hilo is incredible; you’ve won my approval!”
“Hilo is so cute, I like adorable girls—totally reasonable!”
Night Star Lan made no effort to hide her thoughts; she said it right in Kuro’s face.
Kuro asked, “What about me?”
“I only like adorable girls!”
