### Chapter 25: The Princess
“Gosh… Is this guy for real?”
After reading William Moore’s story, Night Star Lan didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
This tragic-obsessed fool actually took the time to meticulously study the scripts, aiming to create tragedies and calamities in the real world.
That was one thing.
The power of the stars truly gave William Moore an understanding of tragedy, earning him the title of “Tragedy Master.”
Even more surprising, he got this title without even being aware of it.
Who could’ve thought his comedy scripts would be marketed as tragic masterpieces?
If classic comedies gather numerous humorous points to make you laugh, only to reveal deep sorrow upon reflection, then William Moore’s scripts have sparse laughs sprinkled over endless despair and sadness. Those occasional chuckles can’t hide the sorrowful tales behind them. Once you finish laughing, your face might twitch, and you’ll wonder if such tragic stories can exist in the world.
It feels like a magical tragedy detached from reality, leaving you praying never to experience such pain.
And after writing several high-quality scripts, William Moore surprisingly lost interest in watching comedies at the theater.
He became obsessed with crafting stories in the virtual world, sending his scripts to theaters habitually without caring about their reception. He had no idea he was crowned “Tragedy Master.”
For a whole month, he isolated himself in his room.
“Man… Humans were into making tragedies in virtual worlds; star eclipses in the real world; now as a star eclipse, things are getting twisted…”
William Moore didn’t end up becoming a villain as Night Star Lan had imagined. Instead, he became a respectable Tragedy Master.
That was quite unexpected.
But who knows how William Moore will turn out eventually. If he remains human and stops writing scripts to venture into real-life tragedies, anything could happen.
Regardless, Night Star Lan still dislikes people obsessed with tragedy, whether in virtual or real life.
Perfect endings are the best!
Night Star Lan then stopped paying attention to William Moore.
“Luo Xi, carry on.”
“Okay.”
Luo Xi sped up the flow of time.
Looking at Luo Xi, who obeyed almost everything she said, Night Star Lan felt like she was with another Wish Princess.
The Wish Princess would fulfill her nearly every wish.
Now, Luo Xi also fulfilled nearly every request, without any need for asking.
Kuro wasn’t wrong about her being greedy.
The previous generations achieved great status just by gaining one ability from the Origin of the Stars. They easily became top figures in society.
But Night Star Lan possessed half of the Origin of the Stars.
Her relationship with Luo Xi definitely wasn’t the same sort of friendship as the one Kuro had. It was much deeper.
Luo Xi was already showing some future qualities.
At least, she treated Night Star Lan with similar affection.
Except for one thing—bedding was off the table.
This part was truly unfortunate.
Would it take thousands of years before Luo Xi threw off her shyness?
Maybe it would.
Time is indeed magical.
Back in reality, time started flowing normally again.
Kuro was probably coming back soon.
A few seconds later.
Two figures suddenly appeared here.
Night Star Lan focused hard.
This time, Kuro brought back a cute little girl with purple-red hair.
This was exactly whom Night Star Lan was eagerly waiting for—Loti Shana, finally found by Kuro.
Loti Shana seemed noble, her demeanor exuding royal authority like a princess from a castle. But her authority seemed staged, as if she was trying too hard.
Night Star Lan stayed silent, wondering how Kuro would introduce her.
“My dear friend, I made you wait… Wait, our sense of time isn’t the same. I’m glad you awaited me so eagerly; it pleases me to bring you joy!”
“Hmm… Let’s skip the greetings. Introduce the guest you brought.”
“Forgive my oversight. This adorable girl is Loti Shana. I was drawn by her will when passing through her land, so I decided to invite her back with me!”
Hearing this, Night Star Lan learned that Loti Shana was a princess from a small kingdom.
Her country was on the brink of invasion and annexation by a stronger neighboring nation.
If she couldn’t find a way out, her country might vanish from the map, and as a princess, she’d suffer an equally tragic fate.
Loti Shana matured earlier than her peers. She knew her nation faced imminent destruction and wanted to save it, seeking to reverse its fate.
Just as she worried, a mysterious man appeared, none other than the wandering Kuro.
Kuro claimed he could help her save her country and demonstrated his godlike power to prove it.
Loti Shana, clinging to her last hope, put aside her caution and followed him to this unfamiliar place.
Facing faint hopes seemed better than waiting for doom.
That’s what Loti Shana thought.
Night Star Lan nodded thoughtfully.
No wonder Loti Shana cared so much about royal authority after becoming a star eclipse, even preferring to stay in her country. She was actually a princess from a near-extinct kingdom.
Without Kuro, her fate would have been doomed.
She could guess the rest of the story.
She likely used the bestowed powers to ascend to the throne as a young queen, closed the gap with the enemy using star power, and then eliminated the threat, expanding her territory and making her kingdom stronger.
Night Star Lan figured it would play out this way.
Considering her understanding of Loti Shana, it wasn’t hard to guess.
A princess with a heart desperate to save her country was easy prey.
Night Star Lan decided to let Luo Xi nab her once she finished saving her country, give her a good scolding, and release her after she pleased her.
An angry but silent expression must be adorable!
Was she going to become as stubborn as she was in the future?
Watching quietly, Night Star Lan didn’t interfere.
Loti Shana definitely had no time for cuddles right now.
They would talk after everything settled down.
