**Chapter 5: The World Passage**
Another day had passed.
Lianhua returned to the theater with the good news of successfully conquering Night Star. She enthusiastically shared the details of her adventure with Kong Yu Bai and Book Yao, and she performed it all as a puppet show!
Kong Yu Bai and Book Yao were utterly engrossed, and this even helped improve their own conquest plans.
On the other hand, Night Star was too embarrassed to even watch.
It was like public execution—ridiculously embarrassing!
Did she really need a plan to conquer Night Star?
One confession would have been more than enough!
But no, there had to be all this fuss about flowery dates. Girls really do value the whole ritual thing, huh?
As for Night Lan…
Zero Meow, White Fish, Star Yoon, and Neko Shinna were all eager to get some romantic experience from her and were constantly scheming about how to conquer Night Lan.
Fortunately, these four little lolis were pretty innocent; a day of play was all they needed for satisfaction!
It was less of a date and more of a hangout between good friends, but they still needed their couple time.
But Zero Meow was quite the handful.
She was like a veteran among lolis—cute on the outside, but inside? A treasure trove of inappropriate thoughts, equal to—or maybe even worse than—Night Lan!
During their “date,” she couldn’t stop blabbering all sorts of nonsense and even tried to drag Night Lan to a hotel for a night of fun! Talk about cruising at full speed!
Thankfully, Night Lan resisted fiercely and insisted they’d have to wait until she was an adult for anything more—which made Zero Meow give up her plans for the hotel escapade.
And this little Zero Meow really thought she could outshine others?
Only Luo Xi had the magic touch to successfully push Night Star down that road.
As for the other lolis, they were easier to handle.
White Fish didn’t have any elaborate ideas; she wasn’t planning on asking Night Lan out shopping either. Instead, she took Night Lan back into the game world and spent the whole day gaming together.
After all, White Fish and Night Lan had met in the gaming world, marking the beginning of it all.
So getting to game with Night Lan again was the best date for White Fish.
Next up was Neko Shinna’s territory.
This simple little loli had straightforward dreams of romance.
As a chef, she had to prepare a whole day’s worth of delicious meals for Night Lan.
Hearing Night Lan praise her cooking skills made Neko Shinna over the moon!
As a result, Night Lan ended up incredibly stuffed and slightly dazed.
Then came Star Yoon.
As the holder of the “Fish Playing Supreme” star and a loli who loved slacking off, she naturally didn’t plan anything complicated for a date.
Thus, she simply invited Night Lan to lie around and slack off together.
Gaming, watching anime, sleeping—whatever was relaxing, Star Yoon made sure to experience it all with Night Lan. By the end of the day, they were just two lolis indulging in delicious laziness, free from any interruptions.
This was essentially Night Lan’s version of a romantic experience for the four lolis.
Calling it romance would be a stretch, though.
But as long as they were satisfied, that was the main thing!
Making the little lolis happy is the duty of any loli enthusiast, right?
The main event should be with the Rising Sun Theater Group.
Kong Yu Bai and Book Yao hadn’t even made their move yet.
Those two seemed like real predators; once they launched an attack, they would probably be even more fierce than Lianhua—after all, they were the big sisters, and their scale would definitely be broader than that of the little lolis.
Night Lan shrugged off these thoughts and prepared to do something else.
Switching perspectives…
Night Lan took Luo Xi back to the Fish Playing House, ready to ask her for a favor.
“Luo Xi, you’ll definitely be the key to opening a passage between the two worlds.”
Not long ago, Night Lan had ventured into another world looking for the missing Group Leader and Kuro. During this journey, she’d made some new friends and promised to invite them to visit this world.
Now, she finally had time to fulfill that promise, and she certainly wouldn’t go back on her word.
Of course, this all depended on Luo Xi.
If she relied on the Wish Princess, getting a wish to connect the two worlds would take a ton of psychic energy, and the aftermath would leave her feeling groggy.
Night Lan didn’t want to be knocked out that quickly.
Luo Xi was definitely more reliable.
Whatever the Wish Princess could do, she could do too.
Naturally, the Wish Princess had higher limits, bordering even on tampering with destiny.
“Mm.”
Luo Xi nodded gently, more than happy to meet Night Lan’s request.
Once she knew the coordinates of the other world, setting up a space passage between the two worlds was a piece of cake for her, requiring hardly any energy.
A short while later, the spatial passage connecting the two worlds was successfully established.
A petite black-haired figure stepped through the passage—it was Night Sky from the other world!
Night Lan quickly greeted her with enthusiasm.
“Night Sky! Welcome to my world!”
“Mm, I’m so happy! I didn’t think I’d get here so fast!”
Night Sky curiously wandered around the Fish Playing House, finally stopping at a window to gaze at the scenery outside, unable to hold back an exclamation.
“Is this the future world? It looks amazing! I wonder when my world will develop to this level.”
Night Lan approached Night Sky.
“This sort of thing just takes time to settle.”
“True. By the way, have you cleared your dungeon yet? About that Star Eclipse disaster—need any help from me?”
Night Lan gently shook her head, proudly puffing out her chest.
“Do you have any idea who I am? It’s just a little apocalypse, solving it is a walk in the park, okay? No need for your help!”
Night Sky sighed in disappointment.
“Eh~ I thought I could help you fight monsters! Didn’t expect you’d handle it so quickly. So, do you like me, slowly falling into that retired, laid-back life, too?”
Night Lan tilted her head, deep in thought.
“Seems like it. While the purer Star Eclipses causing pollution won’t spawn anymore, those who hold the star powers have grasped new abilities, and they can now enter the Star Eclipse state voluntarily. This state amplifies negative emotions, and if used by someone with wavering will, it could still wreak havoc on order. This may very well be the new era of Star Eclipse events—people’s hearts are even more complex than the Star Eclipses of the past.”
Night Sky looked at Night Lan with a glimmer of pity in her eyes.
“So you’ll still have to work, huh?”
“Not really! The Night Watchers can handle these Star Eclipse events just fine. They won’t need me, the nuclear weapon.”
I’m just kidding.
As long as those initial generations don’t create trouble, the Night Watchers can manage just fine.
If Star Eclipse events are easy enough that they require the intervention of an Extraordinary Star Holder, then the other Night Watchers would be utterly incompetent!
Let’s not even mention the regular Night Watchers; the Sunlight Night Watchers wouldn’t want that kind of shame to fall on them.
Night Sky felt delighted that her friend could lead such a relaxed life like herself.
“Hey, since that’s the case, I’ll leave the tour guiding to you! I’ll go back and call Kaguya and the others over. Make sure to show us the unique aspects of this world!”
“Um, I can only do my best; after all, I haven’t explored many places myself.”
Immediately, Night Sky returned to her original world to summon the other companions.
Night Lan also began taking these friends from another world out to play, letting them experience a variety of new things.
Night Sky and her crew were filled with curiosity as they explored the delights of this world, having an absolute blast.
If things continued like this, the exchanges between the two worlds would probably get even more frequent!
