“Wait a minute, no way you’re taking off your clothes!”
Lin Tian quickly pulled back Ganyan Yu’s coat sleeve when he saw her trying to wriggle out of her coat.
“No, I’m really hot!” Ganyan Yu whined, her face flushed as she grumpily leaned her head against Lin Tian’s chest. She looked like a pouting kid.
In her inebriated state, she seemed years younger than her actual age, behaving like a mischievous young girl.
“Help me take off my coat, please!” She pleaded, still rubbing herself against him, adding more embarrassment to the situation.
A passerby in a coat happened to walk by and witnessed this. The man instantly froze in shock, hand shoved in his pocket, hurriedly walking away.
“…”
Lin Tian was sweating buckets.
He placed his hand on Ganyan Yu’s neck. Her skin felt incredibly hot, almost as warm as a nest of baby birds. Was it the alcohol?
Seeing her still whining, Lin Tian could only cave and help her take off her coat. To his surprise, beneath she wore a white shirt with a brown JK uniform.
“That’s much better,” Lin Tian murmured, placing her coat over his shoulder. He stared at Ganyan Yu, perplexed but equally amused.
Suddenly, she wobbled and fell back into Lin Tian’s embrace. “Your legs… they get hard and then soft, just like my middle leg!”
Just then, the taxi they called via the app finally arrived.
Lin Tian helped her into the car and put her cello in the trunk. In the taxi, the driver had been enjoying music until he glanced back at them: Lin Tian and Ganyan Yu, disheveled and obviously in trouble.
The driver quickly switched off the music, putting on earphones instead.
With the car’s air conditioning on, the atmosphere inside became warmer, even for Lin Tian, who took off his coat.
Ganyan Yu sat slumped in the seat, completely worn out. She stretched her hand towards Lin Tian’s thigh. Her tired eyes were filled with discomfort.
“So hot…”
“Hot?”
“No, I’m too warm… especially around the neck.”
Lin Tian noticed her school uniform was tightly buttoned up, the bow tie fastened securely at her neck.
“You should have taken that off earlier, huh?”
“Could you untie the bow?”
“Untie…”
“Yeah… I can’t move.”
Her helpless expression tugged at Lin Tian’s heart. He hesitated, then agreed.
After a deep breath, he started to unfasten her bow tie, getting close enough to feel her breath on his neck. The tension mounted.
“Behind the neck…” she whispered faintly.
After some fumbling, he managed to untie the bow.
With the air feeling lighter, he looked down at her again.
“Can you relax a little?”
“Untie a button… on top…”
“Again?”
He had suspected it might come to this, yet it still startled him. This time, however, it did not appear entirely inappropriate.
The shirt she wore was of high quality; even perspiring didn’t make it translucent. It made his job harder.
Once everything was settled, Lin Tian’s heart palpitated.
He sat back when he caught a subtle, perhaps even displeased, gaze from her. Then her face turned, evading his stare.
“Let me nap.”
Without waiting for acknowledgment, she shifted and rested her head on his shoulder. Lin Tian couldn’t help but smile, finding this unexpected proximity endearing.
The journey continued, with only the gentle sway of the car and their synchronized breathing to be heard.
