But today, he felt a strange stiffness in his body, as if her words were laced with some irresistible magic.

He must have used some demon technique! How could she have suddenly gained such extraordinary power in just one day?
The Tiger Demon let out a roar and charged at Lin Nan, brandishing his elongated polearm.
The two clashed head-on.
After battling the Wolf Demon last night, her comprehension of sword intent had evolved considerably. Although she hadn’t yet broken through to level 8, fighting the Tiger Demon was no longer as taxing as before.
The heavy polearm in the Tiger Demon’s hand felt like a toy, and just a brush against someone could cause serious injury. Not to mention a full strike!

Sometimes, she didn’t even need to clash with the Tiger Demon’s weapon, urgently pressing the attack. “That’s enough! You’re no match for me anymore,” she exclaimed, suddenly taking a step back and sheathing her sword, feeling somewhat disinterested.
Although most of the little demons lacked combat skills, they could still read the fight unfolding in front of them.
Even they could sense that something was off—our great king wasn’t winning against his opponent at all. Yesterday they had been locked in a fierce struggle, but today, the Tiger Demon was clearly caught in his enemy’s rhythm and struggling to keep up.
With a clattering sound, the Tiger Demon was unwilling to concede. He lifted his polearm again, preparing for a last-ditch effort.
But just then, a giant wolf sprang over the city wall with a thundering roar, landing heavily behind Lin Nan.
“b*stard!”
Liang Yue leaped out right behind it, her electric arcs sparkling even more brightly.
The Wolf Demon was moving way too fast; her previous attack had surprisingly missed.
“Second Brother! You showed up just in time! Together, let’s take this woman down and put an end to her arrogance!”
The Tiger Demon’s eyes lit up at the sight of the unscathed Wolf Demon.
The little demons from Tiger Wolf Cave cheered loudly; in their minds, there was no enemy they couldn’t defeat with both their kings working together.
“I’m sorry, King. I couldn’t keep my eyes on the Wolf Demon,” Liang Yue admitted apologetically, unable to ignore the fangs and sharp claws of the Wolf Demon in front of her.
Lin Nan didn’t respond but became highly concentrated.
Interesting, if both opponents teamed up, maybe she could wring a little more experience out of it. Going one-on-one already felt boring to her.
“ROAR!”
The Wolf Demon let out an ear-splitting roar.
“Second Brother! Let’s attack together!” The Tiger Demon discarded his polearm and transformed into a ferocious tiger.

“Second Brother, what the hell are you doing? Are you out of your mind?”
The Wolf Demon responded calmly, “Big Brother, I’m now a part of Cold Wind Cave. If you try to harm our king, I’ll step in.”
The Tiger Demon could only stand there, dumbfounded. “Second Brother… you?”
The Wolf Demon shifted back into a humanoid form. “Big Brother, wise people yield to the times. Our great king has unmatched skills, with strong soldiers and talented individuals under her command. Let’s join the Cold Wind Cave; it might turn out to be a good move for our future.”
After thinking it over, the Tiger Demon finally sighed deeply. “Alright, I’ll listen to you this time. Just hope the Evil Merman doesn’t hold this against us too much.”
“You worry too much, Big Brother! The Evil Merman is too busy chasing after women to concern himself with our little issues. Besides, we have the great king backing us!”
The Tiger Demon ultimately knelt before Liang Yue, along with a group of little demons from Tiger Wolf Cave, completing the surrender ceremony.
Liang Yue, full of energy, accepted their loyalty on behalf of the great king.
At that moment, her heart swelled with excitement.
She never imagined that in such a short time, the Cold Wind Cave would go from being one of the weakest demon tribes to one with loyal subordinates. It felt like living in a dream!
For this, she had to credit the great king.
If she hadn’t guided everyone to build the fortress and block the Wolf Demon’s attack right away, they wouldn’t have stood a chance to lure it inside.
