Feng Yalin can completely vanish into the darkness, making her perfect for infiltrating the Small Thousand World.
But this towering cliff standing at over a hundred meters is giving her a bit of a headache.

[This is a nifty little trick mastered by many female characters in arcade fighting games. As long as you’re at the edge of the platform, you can defy gravity, jumping from just about any spot in the air as your launchpad to propel yourself upward again.

The limitations of this skill are not too severe; Feng Yalin can cancel the boundary setting at any time. Although the character card doesn’t have a blue bar, the trade-off is that her stamina will take a hit.
As she executed the Triangle Jump, her upward speed skyrocketed.
If someone were to observe her at this moment, they’d surely be dropped-jaw astonished.
Because Feng Yalin was hopping back and forth like a pro—one side was the cliff wall, the other was nothing but empty air, and somehow she was steady as a rock, showing no signs of falling.

She took a few cautious steps, her outline starting to shimmer into existence.
But with another glance, she vanished into the dim corridor.
Perhaps it was due to the Ji Shen folks having been here once, the traps and magic circles originally set at the entrance were now damaged, leaving a bit of a mess on the floor—perhaps remnants of Ru Yu and her crew passing through.
After all, once the Monster King’s avatar was taken away, this cave had lost its value as a bait, so nobody was guarding it, which suited her just fine.
She wasn’t interested in running into the colossal Heavenly Sword Sect again.

If a real NPC stumbled upon this scene, they’d probably be on their knees, begging for the dead’s forgiveness for disturbing their rest!
But as a modern person, she knew that the will-o’-the-wisps were merely a chemical reaction from bones exposed to the air over time—not something to be feared.
The only reason those will-o’-the-wisps were so vibrant was that there were many corpses here, mostly exposed, turned to bone over the years—coupled with poor air circulation, creating a stench only a burial ground could muster.
She suddenly had a bold hypothesis.
Perhaps, when Ru Yu and the others entered this cave, they didn’t face any hindrance from Heavenly Sword Sect disciples—only traps and magic circles.
They’d walked all the way here and naturally sensed something was off.
How could a Monster King be kept in a place like this? No doubt the Heavenly Sword Sect would send guards here.
So they left in a hurry, only to be mistakenly discovered by Luo Ying, leading to the chaos that followed.
Since the system entrusted her with this task, it surely meant there was something worth investigating here.
