112. Daughters Definitely Take After Me
That old coot of a Master has always had a style of doing things that’s anything but normal.
So, when he wrote in his letter, “Don’t worry,” it might actually be him complaining about how his beloved disciple has turned into a total loser.
When others call Leon a loser, he just chuckles arrogantly.

But when Master says he’s weak, suddenly, it’s a serious issue.
A fair bit of time has passed since he woke up.
During this period, even though he suffered greatly at the hands of Roswiser, his body’s recovery was slower than before; however, due to various reasons, Leon’s overall physical attributes have been steadily improving.

But in the end, he still lost to Roswiser.
There’s only so much you can do; even with great physical attributes, without magical support, you simply can’t take on someone of the Dragon King’s caliber.
After dinner, Leon sat in his nursery, pondering the issue of magical power.
He stared at his palm, trying to channel magic.
A few sparks of electricity flickered lazily.
Like an overworked employee at 8 AM, responding to the boss’s call with a chirpy, “Coming, coming!” but having no real intention of getting up from their desk.
Leon stared at those dwindling sparks of electricity, scratching his head.
“Honestly, I shouldn’t have to flicker if I don’t want to.”

The strength of his magical power isn’t even one-tenth of what it was before he passed out.

Leon pondered.
Did Roswiser do something to his body while he was out cold?
He quickly dismissed that idea.
If Roswiser really wanted to do something to him while he was unconscious, it would surely be more than just suppressing his magical power.
She could have done much more, like ensuring his body never recovers to a normal state. Even if he woke up, he’d be a sickly mess, and she wouldn’t have to engage in this mind game with him now.
Moreover, when Leon tried channeling magic, he only felt a simple “depletion,” with no forces out there to suppress or seal his magical power.
Since it wasn’t Roswiser’s doing… he had to look for the cause within himself.
Leon scratched his head and glanced at a few books on the table.
They were basic magical and herbal books he’d used when teaching Noia and brewing Dragon Strength. He’d gone through them countless times and was certain they held nothing that could solve his magical depletion problem.
“Instead of randomly guessing here, I might as well find some useful books to study.”
He recalled wandering through the Holy Temple with Moon and coming across a library.
No one seemed to go in or out of that library, so it must have been Roswiser’s private one.
The collection in there should contain the answers Leon needed.
After a moment’s hesitation, he got up and headed to Roswiser’s room next door.
She was in her study wrapping up some work from earlier in the day.
Upon hearing footsteps, the Queen looked up. Seeing it was Leon, she lowered her head again, “What do you want?”
Leon leaned against the doorframe, thought for a moment, and said, “Moon is starting her magical enlightenment soon, and I don’t have much experience in this area. I wanted to borrow some books from you for studying.”
Roswiser kept her head down and pointed her pretty chin toward the nearby bookshelf, “Go get what you want.”
Leon’s eyes flickered, but he said nothing, nodding instead. He walked over to the bookshelf.
His gaze skimmed the shelves, and after picking out a few books, he casually flipped through them before turning back to Roswiser, “Not enough. Do you have any others?”
Roswiser paused in her work, turning to glance at him, “It’s just magical enlightenment; these books should be enough.”
Leon shrugged, “After enlightenment, I still have to teach her basic magic slowly. Since I’m not too clear on your Dragon Race’s magic curriculum, I thought I’d better take a closer look now.”
“I can teach her.” Roswiser replied.
“You’re usually busy, so let me handle it.”
Leon faltered for a moment, then added, “You saw how well I did with Noia’s entrance exam, right? I’m quite skilled at teaching kids.”
After thinking it over, Roswiser realized he had a point.
She was indeed busy with work most of the time and occasionally had to patrol her territory, so she couldn’t consistently teach Moon magic.
Anna and the others were in the same boat.
Looking at it this way, Leon seemed like the most suitable candidate.
She put down her pen, opened her drawer, and took out a key.
“On the fourth floor of the Holy Temple, there’s a library at the far left. The collection there should meet your needs.”
Leon looked at the key on the table, and though his expression remained calm, he was bursting with excitement inside.
As long as he could freely enter the library, finding a way to solve his magic depletion problem wouldn’t be difficult.

Leon suppressed his excitement and calmly picked up the key, “Thanks.”
With that, he stepped toward the door.
“Hey, wait a minute,” Roswiser suddenly called out.
Leon paused, thinking to himself, ‘Don’t tell me that Mother Dragon is having second thoughts…’
He turned around, “What is it?”
“What element did you awaken when you started magical enlightenment?” Roswiser asked.
Hearing that, Leon secretly sighed in relief and replied, “Thunder Elemental Magic.”
Regardless of species, once someone begins to practice magic, they must go through the enlightenment awakening phase.
The magical element awakened after enlightenment represents the user’s source of power.
Of course, one can also learn other elemental magic through training, but in terms of difficulty and speed of learning, it’s not comparable to their native element awakened during the initial phase.

“So… what was Noia’s element when she awakened?” Leon asked again.
Roswiser momentarily halted her pen, as if finding it difficult to speak, and hazily replied, “Thunder.”
