“Well, of course! Moon is about to awaken the same elemental magic as her dear old dad! How could I not be happy?”
Crossing her arms, Roswiser scoffed, “Moon is definitely going to awaken the Fire Element. The dragon genes are way stronger than you think!”
Leon shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, “If the dragon genes are so strong, then why is Noia the Thunder Element, huh?”
“Just a matter of probability.”
“Hmph, when I see the Thunder Element symbol light up in Moon’s awakening array, let’s see if you’re still so cocky!”
“Game on.”
The couple walked side by side down the hallway, one with hands clasped, the other with hands in pockets, looking cozy and intimate but really just trying to keep their argument from being overheard.
Leon firmly believed that Moon would awaken the Thunder Element like Noia.
If that were the case, it could very well be the most heartbreaking plot twist for the Mother Dragon—both daughters taking after their dad!

As the couple continued their playful debate, they arrived at the practice area in the backyard.
Anna and the others were busy preparing the awakening array they would be using shortly.
The awakening array is designed to detect Moon’s inherent element. It contains all the elements of this magical continent, and once Moon awakens one of them, the corresponding elemental symbol will appear above the array.
Meanwhile, today’s little star was there, nervously excited.
“Moon! Over here!”
Leon waved at his precious daughter.
The little dragon lady perked up at the sound, instantly looking over at Leon and Roswiser, quickly hopping down from the bench and scampering over.
“Daddy! Mommy!”
She stood in front of her parents. “Moon is about to awaken her elemental powers!”
Leon squatted down, affectionately ruffling her hair, “Don’t be nervous, just relax and follow what I taught you.”
“Okay, Daddy!”
Moon then looked up at Roswiser, “Mommy, you two will be watching me the whole time, right?”
Roswiser squatted down and took Moon’s tiny hand, “Of course! Mommy and Daddy will be right here with you.”
Although they were both eager for their daughter to awaken the same element as they did and arguing over it (a classic couple’s fight!), their greater concern stemmed from their roles as parents.
And honestly, they were just thrilled that Moon was awakening her elemental powers at such a young age.
You have to understand, typical young dragons don’t usually achieve this until they’re two or three years older.
You could say Moon is living up to her title as the genius sibling!
She can be adorable and spoiled when she shows off but has extraordinary talent when it comes to magic!

After chatting a bit longer, Anna approached them.
“Your Majesty, Your Royal Highness, the awakening array for Princess Moon is ready. We can start anytime.”
Roswiser responded, then looked at Moon, “Alright, Moon! Go ahead! Mommy and Daddy will always be right here!”
“Mm-hmm!”
“Good luck!” Leon gently patted his daughter’s cheek in encouragement.
Moon nodded earnestly, then took Anna’s hand and stepped into the awakening array.
Leon and Roswiser stood up, both looking at each other in perfect sync before breaking into amused smiles.
Leon: “Moon’s awakening—”
Roswiser: “Will definitely be—”
“Thunder/Fire Element!”
This lengthy family showdown about their positions was finally coming to a close!
Leon and Roswiser turned their attention fully to Moon in the awakening array.
The maid squad formed a half-circle around them, ready to assist.
Although the process of awakening an elemental power isn’t particularly dangerous, it’s still the first time a princess is using magic, so having someone watch over her is a good idea.
“Princess, you can start when ready,” Anna called from outside the array.
“Okay!”
Moon took a couple of deep breaths to calm herself.
Then she closed her eyes, slowly channeling both her physical and mental energy as Daddy taught her to form her magic power.
Invisible waves of energy radiated out from her, slowly rising and blowing her clothes and hair around.
The awakening array beneath her started resonating, and complicated patterns began to shimmer with golden light.
“The process of gathering magic power is going smoothly,” Leon remarked, watching as Moon became enveloped in the array’s glow. “Typically, it takes several tries for someone to gather magic power for the first time, but I can’t believe Moon did it on the first attempt!”
Roswiser let out a quiet “Mm” of agreement.
Next came the second step: naturally releasing the gathered magic power through her magical circuits.
Moon calmly felt the flow of magic, like a stream of water, uncontrollable yet continuous.
She needed to guide it out through her magic circuits.
The techniques Daddy shared with her were very detailed and effective, and Moon’s process of guiding her magic was going exceptionally well.
And now, when the awakening array detected her magic power, it would immediately display the corresponding elemental symbol.
Everyone, including Leon and Roswiser and Anna, held their breath, eager to see which elemental power the princess would awaken.
As Moon’s magic surged out, a faint red glow traced her arm, and several flames flickered around her.
Roswiser’s eyes lit up; this was a sign that the Fire Element was manifesting!
Sure enough, the next moment, a symbol representing the Fire Element appeared right above the awakening array.
Anna started clapping, and the maid team cheered and congratulated her.

Leon slowly lifted a hand, pointing a finger at Moon in the center of the array, then his face broke into a mix of shock and joy.
“The awakening… isn’t over yet.”
At his words, Roswiser immediately turned her gaze back to the array.
Just as Leon had said, Moon’s awakening… was still ongoing.
Her flames began to converge, only to be replaced by… flickering azure lightning!
Roswiser’s eyes widened slightly, her pupils reflecting the radiant light, sparkling even more.
Under all eyes of astonishment, the Fire Element symbol above the array slowly merged with… the Thunder Element!
This was a scene that could only be seen in books and ancient texts—
