3 I Bought a Super Sexy Swimsuit
In the afternoon, Leon accompanied Roswiser to the Silver Dragon Tribe to buy a new swimsuit, just as they had planned.
Honestly, after being a royal prince for over a year among the Silver Dragon Race, it seemed like he had never gone shopping in the tribe with Roswiser before.
Usually, when they needed anything for their outings, they just hopped over to Sky City, where Leon wasn’t a prince, and Roswiser wasn’t the Silver Dragon Queen.
To most dragons, they were just an ordinary couple with two adorable daughters.
Out there, they didn’t need to pretend to be lovey-dovey; after all, there weren’t any acquaintances around.
But at home, that was a whole different story.
If they went out together, they had to be extra careful to make sure the members of the Silver Dragon Race could feel the deep love between Your Majesty and His Royal Highness.
Simply put, they had to sprinkle out some dog food — even if that dog food was a little fake, it still had to be thrown around.
At least, they had been maintaining this charade for so long that they had both gotten pretty good at it.
On the quiet path from the Silver Dragon Temple to the tribe, the couple had already grasped each other’s hands in perfect harmony.
Roswiser actually really enjoyed holding hands with Leon or rather, she loved the feeling of his large, warm hand on her skin.
His slightly rough, battle-worn palm was covered in scars; that was the hand of a warrior. Only a hand like that could give Roswiser a real sense of being conquered.
Of course, the best part was that this guy’s hand was always warm.
Just warm enough to balance out her naturally cool body temperature.
She still remembered last winter when she had just gotten pregnant with Little Light. Despite being pampered with all sorts of food and drinks, her body still felt chilly. Even under the blankets, her hands and feet would sometimes be ice-cold.
So during those times, Leon was her ever-available hot water bottle.
Seriously, there was nothing better than hugging a warm baby—one that pretended to find you annoying but snuggled up to you anyway.
And he even had abs.
Yeah, not only was he warm, but he felt amazing too.
Thinking about this made Roswiser chuckle softly.
Leon, confused, glanced over at the dragoness beside him.
What was wrong? Did she just laugh at herself while walking?
As if noticing Leon’s gaze, Roswiser quickly suppressed her smile, feigning seriousness. “Why are you looking at me?”
“You were just smiling like a schoolgirl on her first date,” Leon’s blunt remarks were always spot on.
“How would you know what a schoolgirl on her first date looks like? Have you gone on a date with any girl other than me?” of course, the queen had a knack for digging for the keywords.
“Of course, so what? Do you control the sky and the earth, and also need to know who I’ve dated?”
Before meeting Roswiser, General Leon had been a twenty-year-old single guy who thought refusing another girl’s confession was a waste of his precious five seconds. Besides his mentor’s wife, he had never gone out with any woman.
But since this Silver Dragon vinegar king wanted to start an unnecessary fuss, Leon decided to play along.
After all, the sourness wasn’t his.
Roswiser shot him a side-eye; she knew the dog man was just bragging again, but instead of calling him out, she huffed,
“With so many fangirls swooning over the dragon-slaying hero, it’s only natural to go on a date with one of them. Why would I dare to control you?”
Leon sniffed dramatically, “Do you smell that?”
“Smell what?”
“A whiff of jealousy.”
Roswiser blinked, raised an eyebrow, then snorted, “Oh, so now you’re saying I’m jealous, huh? I’m not a vinegar jar!”
“Are you not?”
“I’m not.” The three words came out strong and resolute.
“Oh, if you say so.”
Since the vinegar king had spoken, Leon decided to agree with her.
Roswiser didn’t press the issue further.
Because from past experience, if she continued, she would surely end up in one of Leon’s logical traps.
It was just like how if someone labeled you as a tsundere, it didn’t matter if you were or weren’t; once that “proposition” was thrown out, you’d already been tagged as a tsundere.
So instead of playing word games with the dog man, she decided to conserve her energy and save it for a later argument about something else.
When the couple arrived at the Silver Dragon Tribe, although the variety of goods didn’t compare to Sky City, they could still find what they needed.
The first thing on the list was, of course, swimwear.
Noia and Moon didn’t need new swimsuits, so this trip was mainly to buy Roswiser a swimsuit that wouldn’t turn into sheer black lace when it got wet.
As soon as they entered the shop, the female owner recognized her queen right away and quickly signaled the staff to come greet them.
They lined up for a welcome — all bowing in unison—
But Roswiser quickly stopped them, “Just go about your business! His Royal Highness and I are just browsing, and we’ll call you if we need anything.”
She had never liked loud scenes; each time she went out incognito, she always tried to keep it low-key.
After a slight bow, the staff returned to their posts.
The couple headed straight for the women’s swimwear section.
To be honest, the Silver Dragon aesthetic was pretty accommodating; whether it was conservative styles or more revealing ones, they had it all.
Roswiser picked out a black, spicy swimsuit, fiddling with the thin straps in front of her, turning to Leon, “What do you think of this one?”
Leon squinted at the painfully scanty fabric of the swimsuit and shook his head. “Not good.”
“Alright, how about this one?” Roswiser switched to another one in a different color, though the fabric was still minimal.
Leon cleared his throat again, “Not good either.”
Roswiser couldn’t hide her smile this time and picked out another spicy swimsuit.
Just holding it in her hands made her heart race at the thought of her wearing it, but Leon’s verdict remained the same —
“Not good.”
Roswiser put down the swimsuit with a tilt of her head, “This isn’t good? It shows off my figure!”
Leon scratched his nose, grumbling, “It just isn’t good…”
“Seriously, human aesthetics are so outdated.”
“C’mon, this isn’t even about aesthetics!”
“Then what is it about?”
“It’s… It’s…”
Watching the dog man stammer, Roswiser’s smiles widened.
She took the sexy swimsuit slowly closer to Leon, watching as his face flushed a bit, lowering her voice.
“Oh~ I see, you’re afraid if I wear this swimsuit, you won’t be able to control your feelings and will end up confessing to me romantically by the seaside. And if you’re not careful, the Dragon Pattern will light up too… tsk tsk tsk~”
Roswiser tiptoed and whispered in his ear, “It’s okay, honey, just say the word and I’ll buy it and show it off just for you.”
Leon jumped back a few steps, “I don’t want to see! Wear whatever you want; I don’t care.”
“Alright, I guess since hubby doesn’t like me in this swimsuit, I’ll go for one with a bit more fabric.”
With that, Roswiser picked a one-piece suit, which only revealed a bit of her collarbone and back.
It completely hid her stunning figure.
This was way more than just a little extra fabric!
But Leon didn’t feel like he was missing out at all; if that dragoness had bought the sexy style, they might end up getting swept away in feelings once again.
That was quite the effort, and Leon didn’t want to waste the energy he had on homework.
Now that he was a dad to three kids, he needed to pace himself in daily life.
Once Roswiser picked out the swimsuit, she went to the staff to package it up.
Leon headed out ahead to wait for her by the door.
But after a few minutes, Roswiser finally emerged.
“Why’d it take you so long?”
“Oh, nothing much, just checked out some other things. Let’s go get some sunscreen.”
“Sure.”
In a flash, the afternoon went by, and the couple had gathered everything they needed for their trip to the beach.
This vacation was partly to honor their promises to their daughters and partly to allow Leon and Roswiser to unwind after the Imperial incident.
But most importantly, it was to help Noia trust in her parents’ love even more.
Leon wanted her to understand that her mom and dad would never leave her.
