### Chapter 5: Stubbornness is a Skill
Not long after the trip to the Empire, Leon was still feeling quite impressed.
He remembered that night when he, Master, and Rebecca were discussing their next plans when the B-Dragon Pattern suddenly lit up! It was so quick that Leon barely had time to react.
Then, he found himself being interrogated by Master and Rebecca – questions about couple tattoos and playful shenanigans…
But later, Leon realized that the flickering of the dragon pattern indicated that one party was missing the other.
Which meant that, at that moment, Roswiser… was thinking of him.
And at that time, she should still have been camping out in the woods outside the Empire.
Roswiser shifted her eyes and then looked away, “What’s there to say? You’ve been gone for so many days, am I not allowed to miss you?”
“Ah?”
“Wondering if you’ve kicked the bucket, and if so, where have they buried you? What else would I think about?”
The queen wasn’t good at lying, or maybe she didn’t plan to make her lie too convincing, hence she came up with such a lame excuse.
She felt she wanted Leon to know she had missed him.
But that didn’t match her aloof persona, so she decided to throw out a symbolically weak fib instead.
Hey, Dragon Slayer, you’re so clever; you can see through my little white lies, right? Surely you can?
“Oh, I believe it,” Leon replied straightforwardly.
Roswiser: ?
“You… believe it?”
Leon shrugged, “It fits my stereotype of you, so I believe it.”
“You!…”
Dog Man, no conscience!
Roswiser turned her head away, arms crossed over her chest, angrily swishing her tail.
Seeing this, Leon awkwardly stepped closer, unable to suppress a laugh at the sight of Roswiser’s sulky expression.
“Alright, alright, I know you were thinking of me. You just feel shy about saying it.”
He made the right move to back off.
Being stubborn is indeed a skill.
A little stubbornness can be endearing, too much can lead to trouble.
The Silver Dragon Queen had endured waiting in the mountains for five days, and while calling it unwavering devotion might be a bit ambiguous, at heart, Roswiser definitely had a soft spot, at least she hadn’t really abandoned Leon.
So after some teasing, making a concession was absolutely fine.
“I didn’t think of you, not at all.”
“Ah, okay, okay, you didn’t think of me, it was me who missed you.”
At this, Roswiser’s tense face softened just a little.
But she still didn’t give that dog man a good look, “You missed me? Hmph, this queen doesn’t care for your affection; go think about your donkey!”
“Tsk, what are you saying, Your Majesty? Donkeys can’t compare to you! I can apply sunscreen on you, but can I do that for a donkey? No way, that’s just absurd.”
Flattery.
But it worked.
Roswiser bit her lip to suppress a smile and extended her long, creamy leg toward Leon, “Here’s your chance, apply it.”
“Alrighty~”
Leon took the sunscreen, squeezed a bit into his palm, rubbed his hands together, and carefully spread it on Roswiser’s leg.
Her skin was delicate and smooth, cool to the touch, like supple milk jelly.
Her leg was perfect—neither scrawny as a stick nor with any excess fat. Every spot his fingers touched was just the right amount of flesh.
It hadn’t even been a month since Little Light was born, and she still hadn’t regained her pre-pregnancy figure.
But that was the kind of body that was considered perfect—charming yet not lacking in sensuality.
Lying back on the beach chair, arms crossed over her chest, Roswiser watched the dog man meticulously applying sunscreen on her with a sigh, “Just don’t think about getting the dragon pattern glowing while you do that.”
Implying, don’t get any weird physical reactions while touching the queen’s leg.
“Pfft, as if! It’s just your leg, not like I haven’t touched it before.”
The queen’s face flushed, muttering, “Talk nonsense.”
Truth is, applying sunscreen is quite an intimate thing.
Before Leon, Roswiser had never allowed anyone to touch her legs, waist, feet, or anything like that.
Those spots were quite sensitive for her.
Not even girls were allowed, and boys were out of the question.
In Isar’s words, any male dragon who took an interest in Little Luo couldn’t approach within five meters.
And when was the first time Leon touched those sensitive spots?
Over a year ago, right?
Back then, he’d finally taken the lead while turning in homework, practically testing every spot on Roswiser’s body.
At first, she thought she’d be mad due to intense discomfort.
But unexpectedly, whether during or after, she felt quite… comfortable.
Leon seemed to instinctively understand her body, knowing exactly how far to go.
Once, she had asked him amidst the ambiguity of the dragon pattern why he was so familiar with her body.
She thought Leon would get all mushy and romantic about it because of the dragon pattern.
But General Leon stuck to his title, the strongest Dragon Slayer.
His response was: “Of course a Dragon Slayer knows the body of a dragon! Have you ever seen a pig killer not know about pigs?”
Then he got kicked off the bed by Roswiser.
In any case, he was indeed a special guy; even the most ambiguous contact wouldn’t make Roswiser feel uneasy.
When her body was in his hands, there was even a hint of satisfaction in being conquered.
Tsk—
Roswiser quickly shook her head, breaking free from those messy thoughts.
“Are you really using two bottles? Do you need that much?” Leon had reached her calves.
“Of course, my legs are long; I need to use more.”
Leon rolled his eyes, imitating her tone in a teasing way, “My legs are long~ so I need to use more~~”
Roswiser laughed, lightly kicking his chest with her foot.
Leon took hold of her ankle, cradling her dainty foot in his hand, “Now that we’re at it, let’s do the soles too.”
“Hey, you perv, don’t—! Ouch~”
A ticklish sensation shot up from her feet, and Roswiser immediately went weak.
After regaining some composure, she kicked again and shot an annoyed look at Leon, “This leg is done, now do the other.”
“Oh, okay.”
Leon moved to the other side, carefully applying sunscreen.
“OK, done!”
“Hm? Do you think it’s over?”
Leon blinked, “You’re only showing two legs; no other places need sunscreen, right?”
Roswiser flicked her tail, “What about this?”
“…Then can’t you just tuck your tail away?”
“I won’t! I want sunscreen on my tail.”
Leon got it; she bought those two bottles not just for her legs but also for her tail.
With a swift motion, Roswiser flipped over, resting on the beach chair.
Her silvery tail swayed in front of Leon, “Alright, come on.”
Leon rolled his eyes but obediently started applying the sunscreen.
To be honest, her tail did feel nicer than her legs.
Smoother, cooler, and… more sensitive.
Especially at the base and tip of the tail; during their “homework handover,” it functioned like a switch; just a little touch could unleash a flood.
So while applying, Leon deliberately avoided those two spots.
After a while, he stood up and declared, “All done.”
“The base and tip of my tail aren’t done; don’t think I didn’t notice.”
“Those spots, you do them yourself…”
“As a prisoner of war, one of your duties is to serve the queen, right?”
She propped herself up on her elbows, looking back with a sly smile, “Hurry up! You’re not afraid to touch the base of my tail, are you?”
The old trick.
Once the most effective tactic against Leon;
But now, the battle-hardened General Leon wouldn’t be so easily baited.
He looked at that lively tail, then back at the smug expression on Mother Dragon’s face.
The more he thought, the angrier he got, and the angrier he became, the more he wanted to.
d*mn it, I’m not doing this!
Leon tossed the sunscreen aside, lifted his hand, and slapped Roswiser’s dragon b*tt.
In an instant, the air whooshed as Roswiser instantly sensed something was amiss.
“Leon, what are you doing?! If you dare—”
Smack!—
