It’s me!
Roswiser flew behind Star.
Leon took a leap and landed on her back.
With Leon on board, the couple immediately distanced themselves from Star.
“Is this guy about to make a last-ditch effort?” Leon eyed Star, who was gathering energy like he was trying to power a rocket.
As Roswiser circled around, she observed Star’s antics.
He didn’t seem like he was making a comeback.
It looked more like… mutual destruction?!
At that moment, Star had not only gathered all the energy in his mouth but his heart was also beginning to shine like a disco ball.
“He’s using the power of the Heartguard Dragon Scale.”
Roswiser’s voice was heavy, “Star wants to obliterate everything here.”
A strange term crossed Leon’s mind, “Heartguard Dragon Scale? What’s that?”
Roswiser hesitated before replying, “It’s complicated to explain. But basically, if we don’t stop Star, we’re all toast.”
Leon could feel the terrifying energy wave Star was accumulating.
In his heyday, he might’ve been able to muster the same force to counter it.
But right now, he only had half of his magic power saved up, and that last scuffle drained him more than he cared to admit.
So if he wanted to stop Star, he needed a different approach.
“This energy is beyond control and estimation; even Star knows it.”
Roswiser said, “He’s now a gigantic, uncontrollable bomb about to blow. But over here? We don’t have any energy to counter it.”
She was fully aware of Leon’s strength, knowing he was untouchable in his prime.
But this time, things were different.
Star, about to take them all down with him, was the strongest opponent he’d ever faced.
After a brief pause, Roswiser asked, “What are you planning? Retreat or stay and stop him?”
Leon furrowed his brow and calmly analyzed, “Roswiser, you just said the explosion range is unpredictable, and Noia and the others are still at the Holy Temple. We can’t take that risk, so we must stop Star from blowing up here.”
After pondering for a moment, Roswiser nodded, “Alright. Got any ideas?”
Leon slowly lifted his head and gazed at the blue sky.
Suddenly, a wild idea flashed through his mind.
Far in the distance, on the command platform, Rave was ready with the spatial teleportation array.
The moment Star blew up, he’d just teleport outta here like he was on a runaway train.
Rave never expected that old dragon would go bonkers and want to destroy everything.
Did he truly not understand the terror of that power?
Oh.
He probably did.
But hey, once this move’s done, everyone’s toast anyway. What’s there to worry about?
Dragons have a crazed obsession with revenge that sometimes even they can’t comprehend.
Especially a king like Star, whose pure dragon bl**d flows with even more madness.
They can’t allow themselves to fail, and certainly not in such a pathetic way.
Mutual destruction is just part of this band of crazy dragons when fighting their enemies.
“Hey, hey, Rave, you can’t just leave me here! The boss will have your head!” Nacho clutched Rave’s arm, panic painting his face.
Rave shrugged him off in disgust, “If you want to live, shut up and stop blabbering. Leon Casmod is as good as dead this time. Sure, he’s powerful, but judging from what I just saw, he can’t gather enough magic to match Star. Everything here is going to be flattened. We won’t even need to lift a finger.”
“Y-yeah, yeah, Leon’s not getting out of this one! Our mission is complete!” With everything as it was, Nacho crazily chimed in, “It’s just a shame for Star, a dragon king that brave… to go down like this.”
Rave bit his lip, “Sacrificing Star to wipe a monster like Leon Casmod off this world? That’s a steal.”
“Absolutely! I never liked that punk since he joined! Wait, what are they doing?” Nacho looked back at the battlefield.
Rave followed his gaze.
There, dragon-shaped Roswiser kept shooting fireballs into the sky.
And those silver dragon guards on standby at the border transformed into their dragon forms, joining Roswiser in the fireball fiesta.
After hundreds of fireballs disappeared into the clouds, Rave thought, Surely those fireballs can’t hurt Star, right? So what the heck were they up to?
A d*ath ritual?
Back on the battlefield, Star was still busy accumulating power.
Meanwhile, the silver dragons continued their fiery barrage into the sky, one after another.
Gradually, the previously clear sky turned gloomy as heavy rain clouds rolled in.

A raindrop landed on Rave’s hand.
He looked down, “Is it raining?”
After that first drop fell, torrential rain followed fast.
Rave stared at the silver dragons still shooting fireballs, internally analyzing,
“The dragon flames heat up the surrounding air, creating updrafts and rain clouds, so it rains… but are they trying to douse Star’s apocalyptic anger with rain? What a joke, they’re a bunch of idiots—”
His words were cut off.

Wait.
They weren’t trying to use the rainwater.
But instead—

A thunderclap rumbled in the clouds.
This lightning felt like it exploded in Rave’s chest, leaving him speechless in awe.
“Lightning… crazy… that guy’s a lunatic!!” Rave realized, his composure slipping.
Meanwhile, Nacho, still confused, asked, “What? Then, should we run?!”
“No.”
A peculiar smile suddenly appeared on Rave’s otherwise somber face, “This kind of scene? You only get to see it once in a lifetime; how could we possibly run?”
Nacho’s expression changed, “You’ve lost it… you dragon folks are all nuts!”
Meanwhile, on the battlefield, the silver dragon hovered in the air.
Leon stood at the head of the dragon, upright and confident, raising his right hand high.
The rain kept pouring down.
Thunder and lightning in the clouds roared like a disturbed beast, expressing its anger and displeasure.
“Lightning, the most powerful and uncontrollable element in nature.”
Leon channeled the lightning, the thunder rumbling incessantly, “But to stop the equally uncontrollable Star, we need to use this power.”
“Sometimes I really think your thought process is just as wild as a dragon’s, Leon.”
Roswiser said lightly, “How could a human conceive such a crazy method?”
“My dear Melkway, it’s neither the dragons nor the humans who are crazy—”
Lightning surged, shaking the world.
The man in silver armor jumped from the dragon’s head.
“It’s me.”
He gripped the thunder and charged toward the golden light of impending doom.
