63 Your Mouth
(Part Two)
As Leon leaped down, Star had just finished charging up.
This strike would put an end to his long, thousand-year lifespan.
And it would also draw a line under the audacious human standing before him.
Star wanted him to know that angering the Dragon Race had but one outcome: a one-way ticket to d*ath.
So what if they both went down together?
As long as he could make his enemy pay the same price, Star didn’t care.
A golden light burst forth, appearing from afar like a second sun slowly rising over the horizon.
The tremendous power radiated outward from Star’s center, shaking the surroundings as he roared, upholding the last dignity of the Dragon King.
Meanwhile, the man who pushed him to this point was ready for a face-off.
Clad in silver armor, the man wielded thunderous power from nature’s most turbulent and uncontrollable elements, commanding an army behind him like an unstoppable general.
He was like a heroic savior leading the world’s strongest forces into a full-on assault against that golden dragon.
A roar formed as lightning converged into the shape of a lion, descending from the sky.
Super S-Class Thunder Magic — Dragon Extinction.
A spell that had never appeared in any book, a dragon-slaying move uniquely created by Leon Casmod.
No long, convoluted incantations, no ridiculous body rituals, no sneaky gimmicks.
It was pure energy, and its sole purpose was…
To slay dragons.
Thunder and golden light clashed;
Lion and Dragon King battled.
Between kings, there would be no truce.
Two forces collided mid-air, with the resulting energy explosion sending shockwaves outward.
In an instant, the heavens shook and the earth trembled, as if the apocalypse had come early.
The dazzling light flickered in Rave’s eyes as he watched in excitement, nervously saying,
“Did you see that, Nacho? This is the pinnacle of life and d*ath battles in the world! I’m so jealous of you; you’ve only lived for thirty or forty years, and you get to see this, while I’ve lived for fifteen hundred years and am only witnessing such a showdown today!”
Dragon folks are crazy—
That’s what that lord often says.
Nacho never believed it before, but now he was convinced.
He knelt on the ground, observing the high-stakes showdown between one man and one dragon.
Nacho didn’t understand. If the Dragon King destroyed everything in rage and was uncontrollable, then why was Leon Casmod fighting so hard?
He could easily run to a safe place with the silver dragons. Sure, he might get caught in Star’s explosive backlash, but surely it wouldn’t lead him to risk his life like this.
Looking at the small silver figure, wielding lightning as he faced the rampaging Dragon King, even a sly character like Nacho couldn’t help but think:
If only a person like him were on our side.
Brave and fearless, and unafraid of sacrifice, such a person never lacks recognition from others.
However, Nacho wouldn’t understand, and it was impossible for him to understand that Leon never lived for others’ approval.
He had things to protect, and he would risk his life for them.
In the midst of chaotic lightning, the man’s armor began to crack as he shouted at the golden dragon,
“How long have you lived, Star?”
“A thousand years? Two thousand? Or three thousand?”
“In your long life, surely there’s something you consider your ‘biggest regret’?”
“Perhaps it was a wrong decision, or killing your own kin, or something else entirely.”
“But now, I tell you, the biggest regret of your life was to stand at my doorstep, yelling in front of my wife and kids, and ultimately blowing up my house.”
“The last dragon that scared my wife and kids is already hanging at my front door.”
“And your fate—will be the same!”
With a thunderous roar, he used the lightning in his hand to disperse the golden light ahead, forcing back the terrifying energy that could level everything.
The lion, formed from lightning, roared, showing its fangs and brandishing its claws as it charged at Star.
In an instant, the lightning engulfed it, the golden light extinguished, and the sound of dragon roars mixed with unwillingness and fury echoed from the explosion.
“His Royal Highness won? His Royal Highness won!!”
At the moment of explosion, Star’s dragon might completely vanished.
The soldiers of the Silver Dragon Tribe cheered.
Sherry broke into a relieved smile, “Head Maid, we won.”
Anna slowly relaxed her tightly clenched fist, the bl**d still dripping from her palm, “Yeah… we won.”
On the battlefield, Roswiser dashed into the still-exploding aftermath, clutching Leon in her mouth, and then flew close to the ground—
With the residual shockwaves still occurring, this was the only not-so-elegant way to get Leon out.
That BYD piece of junk didn’t rush to hide from the explosion but stood there, showing off.
She definitely planned to get some tips from that artillery master named Rebecca later and ask her how she managed to put up with this flashy guy.
As thoughts swirled, Roswiser was suddenly jolted by a shock wave, unable to dodge, and tumbled toward the ground with Leon.
But fortunately, they had already flown to the edge of the residual waves, so even if they fell, it wouldn’t matter much.
Roswiser’s dragon body easily stabilized.
Once she steadied herself, she rushed toward Leon, spreading her dragon wings to envelop him, using her body to shield him from the subsequent explosions.
But fortunately, the energy explosion ended quickly.
After confirming there was no more danger, Roswiser folded her wings and transformed back into human form.
The couple lay on the ravaged battlefield, gazing at the gradually clearing night sky.
The storm clouds dispersed, and the first ray of sunlight shone upon the chest armor of the Black Gold Battle Armor.
He was utterly exhausted, his right hand trembling uncontrollably.
That last strike was indeed dangerous; it had been a gamble, and thankfully, he had won.
“Roswiser.”
“What?”
“Your teeth just hit my kidney…”
“Consider yourself lucky that I didn’t eat you.”
“But being held by a dragon is a first for me. It feels… unique.”
Roswiser turned her head with a look of disdain, “A bunny girl is my limit; as for other hobbies, you need to figure out how to solve those on your own.”
The couple lay on the ground looking at each other.
Though from Roswiser’s perspective, she could only see a silver hunk of metal, she believed beneath that helmet was undoubtedly a silly, goofy smile.
Suddenly, the Queen had a burst of inspiration and came up with a bold idea.
She reached out her hand, slowly lifting the helmet of the Black Gold Battle Armor before leaning in, her soft lips lightly pressing against the cold, hard metal.
Just a quick peck.
As soon as she finished, she immediately recoiled, lying back down with a red face.
General Leon was taken aback, then shot up with a jolt, “That doesn’t count! A kiss through armor doesn’t count!”
“Whether it counts or not is up to you; I’ve expressed myself.”
“Is that how you express it? No way! Wait till I take off my helmet; we do it again.”
As he spoke, Leon clumsily fumbled around, trying to remove the helmet of the Black Gold Battle Armor.
This armor was great in every way, except when it came to getting it off — that was a hassle.
I’ll just sell it off someday.
(Black Gold Battle Armor: ? Have I not burned your dreams for a long time, Casmod?)
In the end, Leon couldn’t get the helmet off.
He chose to give up; it seemed he would have to take his time getting it off later.
Leon stood up, reaching for Roswiser’s hand, “Let’s go back.”
Roswiser nodded, taking his hand, and with a gentle pull, stood up.
The couple turned to look at the battlefield behind them.
Golden scales lay scattered everywhere, and a massive dragon carcass sprawled out. Cleaning up this battlefield would take a lot of time.
“That big a head, and it can’t hang,” Leon muttered.
“Then when we get back, I’ll arrange for some craftsmen to specially make an award-display for you, to hang the heads of these old dragon kings. What do you think?”
“Aw, that sounds embarrassing. Compared to that, I’m more concerned about what you said last time about rebuilding a larger throne.”
The couple supported each other, chatting about pointless topics as they gradually walked towards the Silver Dragon territory.
Anna and Sherry joined them as well.
Undoubtedly, this was a thrilling victory; after this battle, the Empire probably wouldn’t send any more Dragon Kings to trouble Leon for a while—
“Where are you two going?”
A voice came from above.
They looked up to see a dark figure descending from the sky, landing directly between them and the approaching silver dragon soldiers.
After this figure landed, two more shadows followed, landing on the couple’s left and right.
They formed a ‘V’ shape, enclosing Leon and Roswiser in the middle.
Roswiser recognized the leading guy at a glance.
“Star Wanderer Dragon King Rave…”
