Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You – Chapter 326

### Chapter 30: Look at That Head

It’s big, round, and oh-so-grab-able!

After the battle, Isar was bossing the Red Dragon guards around to clean up the mess.

“Take down the mammoth leg hanging on the gate, let’s see if the meat’s still good enough to roast!”

“Replant the entire lawn; there’s hardly anywhere left that’s intact anyway!”

“Also, fix the gazebo for me. Materials and labor? Get them from my sister. Deny the request? Ha! She better not dare! Her husband broke it, so their family has to pay!”

“And that… Constantine’s head? Just find any random place to bury it; it’s a real eyesore.”

“……”

The Red Dragon Holy Temple was in complete disarray, and it was clear that getting it back in shape would take some time.

Leon and Roswiser stood a short distance behind Isar, quietly observing her orchestrate the chaos.

After a moment, Roswiser leaned in and whispered, “I think my sister really doesn’t suspect you.”

“Well, of course not! My excuse, while seemingly a bit hasty, is actually—”

“Actually even more hasty!” Roswiser interjected.

Leon shot her a dirty look and defended himself, “Actually, it’s foolproof! Your sister won’t find any loopholes in it to suspect me!”

And the dog-man had a point.

His excuse might have seemed straightforward, but the simplest of things are often the hardest to dissect.

If you over-embellish with too many lies and modifications, you’d just end up raising suspicions.

And of course, it would be hard to backtrack.

The phrase “a certain mysterious organization,” while hasty, could still be played around with later if it came up again. Not that he was worried about covering it up.

“Mom! Dad! Aunt! You guys okay?”

Voices from the daughters rang out from behind.

The couple and Isar turned around.

A few little dragon girls were escorted safely by the Red Dragon maids.

Leon squatted down and lifted Moon, “Mom and Dad are fine. Are you okay? Were you scared?”

Moon’s little face still showed signs of fright, but she bravely shook her head, “I wasn’t scared! Big sister was protecting me and Little Light!”

Leon nuzzled his daughter’s cheek, knowing full well she was probably scared out of her wits; this was just her way of not worrying him and Roswiser.

But he wasn’t going to force her to admit her fear; sometimes, it’s something you have to digest on your own.

“You’re so brave, Moon. Noia, Little Light, you both did great too!”

Isar joined them, picking up Little Light.

With three parents holding three kids, they were almost a complete family portrait if only Grandma were present.

Isar gazed at the wreckage of her temple and sighed, “We’ve got a lot of work ahead. I’m afraid I won’t be able to join you for photos in Sky City tomorrow.”

Little Light blinked her pretty pink eyes, her gaze skipping over her aunt’s shoulder to look at her dad and mom.

Roswiser picked up on her daughter’s unspoken message and smiled, nodding her approval.

Little Light immediately snuggled back into her aunt’s face, tugging at her red locks, and chirped, “We’re not in a hurry, Aunt! We’ll wait until your work is finished, and then we can all go together~”

Since it had been a group plan from the beginning, there was no reason to change it just because one unfortunate person flopped in a revival match.

“Will that… will it delay you and Moon’s entrance to school?” Isar asked.

“Not at all, Aunt.”

Moon nestled against her dad’s embrace, “School doesn’t start for another month! Waiting a few days for photos won’t be a problem. Plus, Grandma might be back by then~ That way, we can take a super~~~~ big family portrait!”

“Exactly, sis! Delaying a few days is no issue; what matters is all of us together!” Roswiser added.

Leon pressed his lips together, glancing at Roswiser’s eldest daughter.

Coincidentally, Noia was looking back at him.

The two locked eyes, and it was as if they could both hear each other think: “You’ve said all you needed to say; what should I say to my dad/daughter now?!”

After a brief exchange of glances, both father and daughter decided to just zip it.

Isar nodded, “Alright, I can have this fixed up in about a week. We’ll head out together then.”

“Sounds good.”

Just as they were chatting, a Red Dragon guard came barreling towards them, clearly in a fluster.

He rushed up to Isar, half-kneeling and panting, “Y-your Majesty! Bad news! We just tried to deal with Constantine’s head, and something unexpected happened!”

Leon cut in before Isar could say anything, “What happened? Did someone steal his head?!”

After the rift crisis was resolved, Leon had noticed that Constantine’s dragon head, previously hanging at the border of Silver Dragon territory, had vanished.

And after tonight’s chaos, there was no doubt in Leon’s mind that it was the Empire’s crew who had swiped it in the first place.

Now that Old Constantine’s reincarnation had flopped and Blay’s Heartguard Dragon Scale had been destroyed, logically speaking, the Empire shouldn’t need to recover his head anymore.

But… the Empire doesn’t play by the rules.

If they could create a fusion monster like that, what’s to stop them from doing anything else?

“Y-yes, Prince Leon, we were in the process of transporting Constantine’s dragon head for incineration when we suddenly encountered a fast-moving dragon. They ambushed our transport team, injured two of our men, and snatched away Constantine’s head!”

Isar’s pupils twitched. “Did you see what the dragon looked like?”

After a brief moment of contemplation, the guard replied, “It was too dark; I didn’t get a good look. But I can confirm that the dragon wings were iron-blue and had a metallic sheen in the moonlight.”

“Iron-blue wings… a metallic sheen… and incredibly fast…”

Isar murmured, “Could it be the Iron Wing Dragon King…?”

Hearing Isar’s guess, Leon and Roswiser exchanged glances.

They both suspected that the one who snatched Constantine’s head was indeed Iron Wing Dragon King Fair.

Principal Aulete had mentioned before that Fair interfered with the Dragon Race’s investigation project in the Extreme North Land.

Leon had hypothesized at the time that Fair, like Constantine and Rave, was secretly colluding with the Empire.

So, it made sense that he would be stealing a custom-built super fusion monster’s head for the Empire.

“I’ve already sent someone to pursue, but…” the guard bit his lip as if hesitant to continue.

Faced with this sudden situation, Isar didn’t press him, “It’s okay. Iron Wing Dragon King’s speed could match that of Little Luo’s Silver Dragon family. It’s normal that you can’t catch up. You may leave now.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

The guard departed.

Isar turned her gaze back and muttered, “Why would Iron Wing Dragon King steal Constantine’s head… Is it related to that mysterious organization you mentioned, brother-in-law?”

Hearing this, Leon couldn’t help but s*ck in a breath.

Wow, how did this sister connect the dots so quickly?

Not only quickly, but with pinpoint precision.

No wonder she matched him move-for-move in games like “Jump Seven”…

“Maybe… or perhaps he has some other purpose for taking Constantine’s head.”

After thinking it over, Leon gave a rather vague reply.

He couldn’t say too much.

Tonight had been too chaotic; troubles were piling up one after another. Even Leon couldn’t come up with an airtight alibi in such a situation.

So, he had to throw out some smoke screens, play dumb, and keep tossing out distractions.

As long as he could keep Isar from connecting the dots towards the Empire, he was good.

Isar sighed deeply, “Ah, I don’t even know when the world got so messy.”

Leon cast a guilty glance at his oldest sister, mentally answering:

Since I married your sister.
