### A Cozy Little Cotton Jacket
The couple tried to suppress their inner joy just a little.
Before celebrating, they had a certain matter to clarify.
“Noya, did you just say your classmate Helena finally persuaded… Aunt Claudia?” Leon asked.
Noya nodded, “Aunt Claudia’s tribe doesn’t often make public appearances. Even in an absolutely neutral organization like Saint His Academy, it’s tough to spot them. Helena is the only young dragon from her tribe attending this academy.”
Hearing this, the couple exchanged glances.
Looks like they could pop open some champagne early this time!
“So which tribe are they from exactly?” Roswiser asked.
“The Sea Dragon Race.”
Those three simple words could barely contain Leon and Roswiser’s excitement.
From when Taige handed “Nine Gates of Hell” to Leon, to the recent “Soul Judgment,” and all the way to Leon zipping through a rift to the future twenty years ahead to discover their daughters’ adventures, there’s been one key player in it all:
The Sea Dragon Race and Claudia Poseidon.
She’s the author of “Nine Gates of Hell” and “Soul Judgment,” and she’ll eventually be their daughters’ master.
And the most important detail is that this mysterious, all-capable, kind-hearted member of the Sea Dragon royalty might have some connection to Leon’s master, Taige.
Otherwise, Taige wouldn’t have arranged for not one but two martial arts manuals written by Claudia. That’s too much for mere “coincidence” to explain.
So Leon has always wanted to meet Claudia and see just what kind of person she is.
If he could figure out her relationship with his master, that would be a bonus!
But because the Sea Dragon Race has been reclusive for thirty years, combined with the “social etiquette” among dragons, obstacles piled up, preventing Leon from meeting Claudia.
And this time, their precious daughter presented them with a golden opportunity to peel back the mystery surrounding Claudia.
Leon definitely didn’t want to miss out.
Neither did Roswiser.
They exchanged glances until Noya asked,
“What’s wrong, Dad and Mom? Are you familiar with the Sea Dragon Race?”
Noya had heard about the Sea Dragons being hermits.
She’d previously asked Helena about them, but Helena didn’t have much information either.
And clearly, their expressions changed ever-so-slightly the moment they heard “Sea Dragon Race.”
That’s why Noya asked.
Leon chuckled and shook his head, “No, it’s just that we don’t often hear news about the Sea Dragon Race. They’re probably a low-profile and reclusive tribe.”
“Yeah, in the Young Dragon Department and even the Youth Dragon Department, Helena is the only one from the Sea Dragon Race.”
Noya continued, “So it’s really impressive that Helena managed to persuade Aunt Claudia to be in this play. Are you really not going to participate, Dad and Mom?”
After being drilled by Vice Principal Wilson so many times, Noya could see that her parents didn’t seem great at showing affection in crowded places.
Meanwhile, Moon was like the top-tier VIP of the gossip dragons, solely focused on how to get her parents to have another little sister and unaware of this little detail.
As for Little Light, Noya seriously suspected she’d orchestrated the whole scenario at the enrollment ceremony where their parents were pushed to win first place and awkwardly give a speech, throwing affection around like confetti.

With two little sisters — one wanting a sister, one just in it for the fun — it fell to the eldest sister, Noya, to step up and be that warm little cotton jacket.
It was a good time to check in on Mom and Dad’s mental health, vital for maintaining a pleasant family atmosphere.
Now… based on her knowledge of her parents, they’d probably decline.
Noya initially didn’t have high hopes; she just really wanted to do something with her parents—
“Participate, Noya.”
Roswiser said, “Your dad and I will be participating in this play.”
Hearing this, the eldest daughter’s eyes lit up, and she excitedly asked, “Really, Mom?”
Roswiser smiled and pinched her cheek, “Of course it’s real.”
“Yay, Mom is the best~”
With that, Noya leaped up and hugged Roswiser’s neck, planting a gentle kiss on her soft, smooth cheek.
Noya didn’t often express her feelings so openly.
So for her to initiate a kiss showed just how much she wanted her parents to join in on the play.
Watching this scene made Leon, the father, feel a bit envious.
“Ahem—” Leon cleared his throat twice to remind everyone of his existence.
Hey, sweet daughter, after kissing Mom, how about a smooch for Dad?
We’re a family — equal treatment must be enforced!
Noya turned to look at her dad and smiled, “What’s up, Dad? Is your throat bothering you?”
Leon was taken aback.
He looked at his precious daughter’s knowingly mischievous grin, and it slowly began to blend with the smirky smile of Roswiser from his memories.
Ah, you sly little devil; Noya’s clearly inherited her mother’s devious streak, no matter how cool and aloof she tries to act!
Come on, sweetie, can’t you inherit more of Dad’s personality?
Look at me, I’m straightforward — I say what’s on my mind without getting all flustered.
“My throat is fine.” Leon replied.
Noya tilted her head, her grin unfaltering, “Then why were you coughing?”
“Dad’s face suddenly feels dry.”
“If Dad’s face is dry, does that mean his throat is dry too?”
“Exactly, it’s called a chain reaction.”
“Oooh, so what should we do about it, Dad?”
“……”
“Why aren’t you talking, Dad?”
“So you won’t give your old man a kiss—”
Before Leon could finish complaining, Noya leaned in and gently kissed his cheek.
“What were you going to say just now, Dad?” Noya continued to smile, looking as cunning as a crafty little fox.
Leon scratched his nose and turned away, ruffling Moon’s hair, “N-nothing.”
Though the process was a bit rocky, he still managed to secure a kiss from his daughter.

Next, they chatted about the general arrangements for the play, and soon Noya took her sisters back to sleep.
The hot pot party was also nearing its end.
Leon and Roswiser strolled out of the yard.
“I won again,” Roswiser suddenly declared, her tone bubbling with uncontainable glee.
Leon shot her a look, “What did you win this time?”
“Noya kissed me first, then she kissed you.”
“That’s because you were the one who decided we’d participate in the play in the end.”
Leon argued logically, “If I had been the one making the call, Noya would’ve kissed me first.”
“Tsk tsk tsk, that’s hard to say.” Roswiser crossed her arms, her tail flicking up proudly.
“Pfft, not worth arguing with you.”
Roswiser let out a satisfied chuckle.
When the “Dog Man” admits he can’t be bothered to argue, it means he’s conceded this round.
Oh well, what can you do? Our General Leon has a thin skin and can’t bring himself to say it outright! As his wife, it’s only right that I look after him—
A fake wife is still a wife; to keep the family running smoothly, I sometimes have to take on responsibilities like a real wife!
“Well then, let’s get ready.”
