Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You – Chapter 44

### Chapter 45: No One Understands Assessments Better Than Me

A few hours later, the family of three arrived at Saint His Academy.

Nestled in the heart of the mountain range bearing its name, this place was a fortress—much like Sky City, where only flying races could reach it.

As they landed in front of the academy, Roswiser transformed back into her human form.

Alongside them were several other dragon families.

However, families like Noia’s, with both parents present, were a rare sight.

“Let’s go inside,” Roswiser said, taking Noia’s hand and striding toward the academy gates.

Leon trailed closely behind, hands in his pockets.

Upon entering, they were greeted by an ambiance of ancient design, with a spacious campus pathway, leading to a massive dragon statue.

“Must be a tribute to some dragon hero,” Leon thought.

After passing through the pathways, they arrived at the enrollment station of the Young Dragon Department.

Since this was a noble academy for dragons, they didn’t have to wait long before a staff member personally approached them.

The staff led them into an office to start filling out basic information.

“Name: Noia K. Melkway, Silver Dragon Race, Age: one year and… three months?”

The staff member looked astonished at the information on the form.

She raised her eyes to meet Roswiser’s and Leon’s, “Uh, while Saint His Academy does require young dragons to be at least one year old for admission, almost all of them enroll between the ages of four and six. Your little princess… isn’t she a bit too young?”

Roswiser had anticipated this question.

She wasn’t wrong: most young dragons didn’t start schooling until they were four.

Even though Noia had basic movements and thinking ability at her age, keeping up with the Young Dragon Department’s curriculum might be a stretch.

But since it was Noia’s own desire to enroll, Roswiser was determined to support her daughter fully.

After all, who knows her child better than her?

Noia had always wanted to be taken seriously, not viewed as just a little kid.

Her stubbornness and determination were indistinguishable from that of an adult.

“About the age issue, my husband and I considered it. We don’t think it’ll affect anything, and our daughter has no objections,” Roswiser replied succinctly.

The staff member then glanced at the little dragon girl sitting between the couple.

Her innocent face showed no expression, her eyes not wandering around.

She sat there demurely, listening to the adults speak.

Honestly, for a young dragon over a year old, it was a rarity to see one so calm and composed—most four to five-year-old dragon pups were bouncing off the walls!

“Alright, I was just curious,” the staff said with a smile, completing the necessary forms, and retrieved a testing card from a drawer, presenting it to Noia.

“Your daughter meets the basic criteria to participate in our academy’s entrance test. Please take this test card and head to the fourth floor to wait for your assessment.”

Noia accepted the testing card, jumped off her chair, “I’m off, Mom!”

“Good luck!”

“Uh-huh!”

Noia ran off excitedly from the office.

The staff stood up, “Little Noia must be a viviparous dragon, right?”

Roswiser nodded.

“Then please follow me to the third floor for the viviparous family assessment.”

Leon and Roswiser exchanged a glance and gave each other a subtle nod.

At this point, no one understood assessments better than they did!

Leon was practically on the verge of sharing the story of how he got kicked by his master’s donkey as a child.

If they flunked this, he might just have to don the Black Gold Battle Armor and have a word with the principal!

The staff led them to the third floor, where two families were already waiting in line.

It looked like they would be waiting a bit longer.

After all, Saint His Academy placed significant emphasis on family assessments.

“I’ll go in and register for you two; please hold on for a bit while I take care of the two families ahead of you,” the staff said with a nod.

“Thank you for your help,” Roswiser replied.

The staff entered the office in front of them.

Leon and Roswiser took a seat on a long bench in the hallway.

Roswiser had her head down, her tail involuntarily curling a bit as she pressed and rubbed her fingers nervously on her lap.

She seemed a bit tense.

Leon leaned back in his seat, sneaking a glance at Roswiser.

She had been saying how nervous she was since last night—not to mention her classic “teaching moment” where she schooled him on the importance of calmness.

She had even explained herself afterward, something she never did before.

Clearly, this entrance test was a big deal for her because it was crucial for Noia’s future.

Leon bit his lip and lifted his hand, eyeing the smooth skin on Roswiser’s hand.

After a pause, he finally placed his hand gently on her shoulder.

“What’s wrong? Did the stress relief treatment from last night wear off that quickly?”

Roswiser shot him a playful glare, clearly able to tell he was trying to lighten her mood, “That did not help at all!”

Leon shrugged, “What do you want me to do? Repeat it a few times?”

“Go d*e somewhere!”

Roswiser laughed while playfully shrugging off Leon’s hand.

But this little joke did help ease her earlier anxiety.

Roswiser tilted her head back, letting out a long sigh, and waited quietly for the assessment to begin.

About an hour later, the two families in front finished their assessments.

The staff came back to guide Leon and Roswiser into the office.

This office was larger, with fancier decor.

Inside sat three elderly dragons lined up behind a long table.

The two on the sides wore serious expressions, sitting up straight and looking impeccable;

while the one in the middle sported a friendly smile and wore gold-rimmed glasses, exuding a scholarly air.

The staff asked Leon and Roswiser to wait at the door while she whispered something to the three elderly dragons.

Taking advantage of the moment, Roswiser leaned closer to Leon and whispered, “Based on your experience, do you think these three are easy to deal with?”

Leon studied the three dragons carefully before responding, “Easy k*ll.”

Roswiser blinked, “Easy k*ll?!”

He nodded, “Yep, before you captured me, I could easily have taken their heads within fifty rounds.”

Roswiser facepalmed, “That’s not what I meant about being easy to handle… I mean for the assessment! Are they going to give us some tough questions, okay?!”

Leon shrugged, “Relax, we prepared so much for this test. We won’t mess up.”

About five minutes later, the staff came back with two sets of answer sheets.

“Please come to this side for your assessment. There’s no time limit, but you cannot talk during the assessment. Thank you for your cooperation.”

She led Leon and Roswiser to a table, seating them on either side.

A solid divider was placed in between.

And the test officially began.

Leon looked at the questions on the paper, most of which he and Roswiser had discussed during their all-nighters.

You could practically say that in just a few short nights, they understood each other better than many couples who had been married for years.

So, answering these test questions went smoothly—not too much stammering at all.

Half an hour later, they submitted their answer sheets.

The sheets were passed to the left-side director for review.

“Please come sit here,” the staff said, placing two chairs opposite Wilson the principal and another director, indicating for Leon and Roswiser to take a seat.

The couple exchanged curious glances.

From each other’s eyes, they could see a hint of confusion:

Wasn’t the assessment over? Why were they still talking to the school leaders?

With puzzled minds, they approached the seats.

Once seated, the elderly dragon in the middle introduced himself warmly, “Hello, I’m Waters Wilson, the Vice Principal of Saint His Academy. It’s a pleasure to oversee your assessment.”

“Greetings, Principal. I’m Roswiser Melkway, the leader of the Silver Dragon Race, and this is my husband, Leon Casmod. We’re honored to participate in your assessment.”

Principal Wilson nodded, “Let’s skip the small talk and jump straight into the second phase of the assessment: the interview.”

“Interview…?!”

Principal Wilson squinted with a smile, “Yes, this is a new assessment phase we established this year. Are you two… ready?”

The couple’s faces turned serious,

“Ready… ready for what?!”
