### Cherry Blossom Grove
The night was deep and the evening breeze was cool.
Leon carried Roswiser out of the back yard of the Silver Dragon Temple, heading straight for the back mountain.
Roswiser recognized the path.
“Are you taking me to the Cherry Blossom Grove?”
Leon silently nodded.
“What are we doing there?”
“Because from there, you can see your entire Silver Dragon Temple in all its glory.”
Roswiser frowned slightly, not quite getting the meaning behind his words.
Why did he want to take her to that place to look at the Silver Dragon Temple?
What was the significance?
With these questions in mind, they reached the Cherry Blossom Grove.
Leon found a sturdy cherry tree at the edge of the forest and stood beneath it, turning to face the direction of the Silver Dragon Temple.
“Look, do you see it? That’s your temple.”
From this height, the whole Silver Dragon Temple was laid out before them.
The ancient, imposing castle stood majestically among the mountains, brightly lit, like a pure land severed from the world.
“What on earth are you planning?” Roswiser asked.
“Remember a month ago when I first escaped?”
Roswiser’s pupils quivered.
Of course, she remembered Leon’s first escape.
After she caught him, she took Leon all the way to the mountains on the outskirts of the Empire, then perched him in a tree that offered a clear view of the entire Empire—
Wait, could it be that he—
“Leon, you wouldn’t be—”
“It looks like you’ve guessed it already, Your Majesty. Yes, the same trick done back to you isn’t just for dragon folk; even a human like me has a strong desire for revenge and a sense of ritual.”
Roswiser leaned into his embrace, wrapping her arms around his neck, tightly gripping his collar. “Leon, in this regard, we’re quite similar.”
Leon chuckled, “They say when you’re not family, you don’t enter the same door, my dear wife.”
“Hmph, so how do you plan to get me up in the tree?”
Roswiser asked with a grin. “The skeletal density of dragons is much greater than that of humans; just carrying me here must have taken a lot out of you, right?”
“Who said I had to put you in the tree?”
Leon replied. “Roswiser, please understand, I’m not trying to perfectly replicate what you did. My goal is to bring your humiliation to an exquisite conclusion.”
Roswiser lowered her gaze, “Leon…”
Ignoring her, Leon propped her up and turned her back toward him to face the cherry tree trunk.
“Stand still.”
Roswiser placed her hands against the trunk, wanting to turn around and resist.
“Leon, you— Ah!—”
But before Roswiser could say anything, Leon grabbed the back of her neck, forcing her to look at the Silver Dragon Temple below.
Roswiser understood there was no escaping this fate.
Yet, knowing what was about to happen only made her desire to resist stronger.
Leon gleefully continued with his revenge ritual.
The Dragon Pattern shimmered in the night.
The lights from the temple reflected in Roswiser’s silver eyes, bright and dazzling.
“See that… Roswiser… your palace is right before your eyes…”
“Don’t blink, darling. Keep your eyes on it…”
“All your pride and dignity come from there.”
“But… hmm~ but could you tell me what exactly we are doing right now? Hmm?”
The words Roswiser once said to him were now being thrown back at her, word for word.
“Are you not being humiliated by a defeated Dragon Slayer?”
It felt as if a fire was burning in her face.
That slight, n*ked sense of shame consumed Roswiser, and she held tightly onto the rough tree trunk, attempting to use the small stings of pain to counteract the turmoil inside her.
d*mn it.
She should be feeling angry right now.
But why… under Leon’s verbal humiliation, did she find herself… wanting more?
Yet she couldn’t express her desires to Leon.
All she could do was go along with his tempo, slowly experiencing and enjoying it.
As the deeper integration occurred, Roswiser closed her eyes, allowing Leon to unleash his passions.
Perhaps due to the intensity of the moment, cherry blossom petals began to flutter down, landing gently on Roswiser’s head and shoulders.
Her body reveled in this fallen revenge;
Her will fought to resist, but the wonderful sensation was simply too addicting.
Well then…
Since it had come to this, there was no point in changing it.
Might as well… welcome Leon’s revenge in the manner befitting the Silver Dragon Queen.
She suddenly opened her eyes and, just before the peak arrived, she gently curled her tail around Leon’s wrist, which was pressing against her waist.
“Seize your last opportunity, Leon.”
“Because afterward, I will exact an even more brutal revenge upon you.”
“While you still have some control, do your best to make me feel ashamed and reluctant.”
Leon, with a quick move, flipped Roswiser’s tail to the side, then leaned down and gently nibbled her shoulder.
“I’ll make you satisfied, Your Majesty. But you better not be weak-kneed.”
Cherry blossoms fell, and shadows flickered.
The atmosphere heated up as the two finally reached a delightful climax.
Exhausted, Roswiser leaned against the tree, catching her breath.
Silver strands of hair clung to her cheek, fragrant sweat trickling down her nose and forehead.
The blush on her face had yet to fully fade; her head rested lightly against the cherry tree, looking both drained and fragile.
Her body, still recovering, had been further weakened from the exertion.
Yet, it was clear Leon had no intention of letting her off the hook.
He walked up to Roswiser, squatted down, and gently lifted her chin, using his hand to smooth back her damp hair.
“You’ve worked hard, my dear wife.”
Roswiser shook her head, brushing aside Leon’s hand.
“Hah, is that it? I thought you had more planned.”
“Of course, it’s not over. I told you, I’ll make you satisfied.”
“Hmph, put all your skills on display tonight. You’ll have no chances afterward.”
“Don’t talk to me about later, Roswiser. I’m someone who lives in the moment.”
Leon teased, continuing casually, “And you, Mother Dragon, you—”
He had initially planned to say something sharp and biting to wound Roswiser further.
However, as he focused on the sickly beauty before him, those harsh words lingered on his tongue but he instinctively swallowed them back.
Leon pressed his lips together and finally said, “Hmph, you look beautiful now, like a shattered porcelain doll; makes the revenge feel even more intense.”
Roswiser glared at him; their eyes locked for a moment before she turned away. “I’m cold.”
Leon didn’t hear clearly, “What?”
“I said I’m cold.”
When she had rushed out earlier, Roswiser was only wearing a spaghetti strap nightgown.
She hugged her shoulders, curling her long legs, wrapping her tail around her waist, putting her porcelain-white skin and the patches of flushed redness into even sharper contrast.
Although this term might not fit her as a Mother Dragon, Leon still felt she looked quite “pitiful” at that moment.
This scenery should only be enjoyed alone.
Leon chuckled and shook his head, then took off his outer coat and draped it over Roswiser, successively picking her up.
Why was he suddenly feeling like this Roswiser was a bit… obedient?
Nestled in Leon’s arms, Roswiser couldn’t muster the strength to move. Her cheek rested against his chest, feeling his powerful heartbeat, and her own face began to involuntarily warm up.
They arrived beside a small creek.
Cicadas chirped, the evening wind blew, the stream gurgled, and the stars twinkled.
Lying here felt quite pleasant.
But Roswiser knew Leon hadn’t brought her here merely for the scenery.
“So, is there any significance here? I can’t see my temple.”
“This creek is a place you really like, right?”
Leon knelt between her legs, pushing aside her tail that lay on her stomach.
“And so?”
“Then I’ll make you like it even more. From now on, every time you come here, you’ll only think of me.”
After a brief intermission, the two engaged in their second round of intense battle.
Desire burned fiercely on their bodies, while the rushing creek at their backs was refreshingly cool.
What a stark contrast between fire and ice.
The forced battle quickened Roswiser’s recovery powers.
She had barely regained consciousness before feeling woozy again.
But now she still had some stamina left after the second round, albeit with a bit of dizziness.
Such was the body of a Dragon King, a remarkable endurance indeed.
After the “second battle” ended, Leon lay beside her to rest.
He pulled a map and a pen from his pocket and drew a circle around a spot.
There was already a circle on it, and Roswiser recognized it as the Cherry Blossom Grove where they had just fought.
Now, the new circle was right by the creek.
Roswiser looked at the other locations on the map, and suddenly her vision darkened.
There were still seven or eight marked spots unmarked.
That meant… they would—
“My Queen, I won’t let you off easily tonight. After playing with me so many times, you’d better be prepared for a twist of fate.”
Leon lifted Roswiser and waded across the creek.
His vengeful revelry was still far from over.
