86 Do Not Light the Challenge
Leon’s lounging in the hot spring, staring up at the fireworks lighting up the night sky.
Honestly, from Roswiser’s perspective, Leon’s strategy of soaking in the hot spring to maintain the secrecy of his camera’s secret weapon has a certain “sheep entering the tiger’s den” aesthetic to it.
But he probably guessed what Roswiser would do once she came down:
First, provoke. Then, tease. Finally, shift the blame.
This routine was so familiar to Leon that he could easily recite the script.
Provoke: “Dragon Slayer, why aren’t you looking at me? Are you scared?”
Tease: “Don’t pretend, drop your pride, and be my obedient little puppy, won’t you?”
Shift the blame: “Heh, it was you who wanted to be with me first! You keep breaking your own limits; it’s got nothing to do with me!”
Even though Leon was well-acquainted with the Mother Dragon’s “three-step strategy,” he still fell for it every time.
So this time, for the sake of his vacation, Leon had to come up with a way to break the cycle—

While pondering, light footsteps danced in his ears.
Leon glanced sideways and saw a pair of exquisite, fair feet, with cute little ankles gently protruding.
As his eyes traveled up from her ankle to her calf, Roswiser stood by the hot spring, wrapped tightly in a bath towel.
“You’re not planning to soak in the hot spring wrapped in that towel, are you?” Leon asked.
“Of course not.”
Roswiser feigned mystery, her tone dripping with playful temptation, “I bought a really sexy swimsuit, and I’m wearing it under this towel.”
She looked at Leon with a grin, seemingly unbothered about spilling her naughty intentions.
Leon awkwardly adjusted his sitting position, snorted, and turned his head elsewhere,
“So what? A fine Dragon Slayer can withstand all kinds of temptations.”
“Oh? Then why are you turning your head away? Are you afraid of lighting up my dragon pattern?”
“Wh-what? I’m not afraid at all!”
With a flushed face, Leon reluctantly turned his head back, his heart involuntarily speeding up.
Roswiser squinted and smiled, slowly peeling off the towel.
First, her rosy shoulders and delicate collarbone peeked out, followed by the edge of a dragon pattern on her chest.
Leon gulped; it felt just as thrilling as unwrapping a Christmas gift from Master—
Because he never knew if he’d find a baby S-rank Dangerous Species or just Mrs. Lonely next door’s standards for a partner in that box.
However, what lay beneath the towel was a bit of a “letdown.”
It was a swimsuit so conservative that you’d wonder if it was wasting such a good figure.
Roswiser revealed only her shoulders and a snow-white belly, and the swimsuit shorts were about as short as regular hot pants—something you could wear directly on the street.
Her soft curves were “held back,” fully protected by that thin layer of fabric.
Leon breathed a sigh of relief; phew! This Mother Dragon typically dressed so conservatively.
But Leon couldn’t show any signs of glee outwardly,
“Is this it? You’re using this to test a Dragon Slayer? What Dragon Slayer wouldn’t stand against such a test? Even if you wore two less pounds of fabric, I wouldn’t let your dragon pattern show.”
Roswiser placed her hands on her hips, snorted, “Hah, look at you being all tough. Help me down; I want to get in.”
Leon stood up and stretched out his arm toward Roswiser;
She slightly bent down and gently took his hand, slowly sinking into the hot spring.
As the warm water enveloped her, Roswiser closed her eyes, stretching her arms and sighing with pleasure.
Indeed, soaking in hot springs can make one’s body and mind feel wonderful.

From the sound, Leon seemed to have laid down next to her, maintaining a safe distance.
Roswiser smirked, just about to tease him when she discovered something… odd.
She suddenly reopened her eyes, realizing the swimsuit was visibly transforming at an alarming rate.

The killer part was that a thin layer of black lace had appeared on her chest, abdomen, and waist.
The lace stuck tightly to Roswiser’s fair skin upon contact with water, looking fiery and sexy, one glance liable to send anyone’s heart racing.
In the blink of an eye, a conservative swimsuit transformed into seductive lace underwear—
It was like a flashback to Isar’s steamy suite!
Roswiser grasped the black lace on her body, and after a brief moment of shock, she smirked, “I should have guessed my sister’s gift wouldn’t be so simple.”
Saying that, she slowly turned to Leon, who was utterly gobsmacked, and asked with a smile, “Surprised?”
“Surprised… surprised my foot! You trickster of a Mother Dragon, why on earth would you wear something like this?” Leon protested.
Roswiser shrugged, lightly kicking her legs in the water, splashing around, “This swimsuit’s a gift from my sister; I had no idea it would turn out like this.”
Leon’s face turned crimson as he averted his eyes from Roswiser’s body.
He couldn’t look too long.
If he did, something would definitely go down.
Watching Leon squirm, Roswiser felt secretly elated, while her mouth continued to tease him,
“But didn’t you just say that with two pounds less fabric, you wouldn’t even let my dragon pattern light up?”
Leon scratched his nose, “I was just talking nonsense. How about you go change into another swimsuit?”
“I wish I could, but I only brought this one.”
Roswiser sighed, “So does the great Dragon Slayer who has defeated countless Dragon Kings still fear being snagged by a little piece of lace, hmmm?”
“Fear? Not at all! As long as you’re a dragon, no matter what you wear, I have no interest!”
As soon as he said that, Leon suddenly realized: this Mother Dragon had kicked off the first step of her classic three-step strategy: provoke.
And he had already stepped halfway into her trap.
Trying to escape would be quite difficult.

“I—”
“Actually, it’s you,” Leon interrupted Roswiser’s spell-casting.
Roswiser raised an eyebrow, “Me? What’s wrong with me?”

If one side’s dragon pattern lights up, it means the other side has feelings or desires for them.
Upon hearing that, Roswiser chuckled, “I can perfectly control my desires; I’ve never lost control.”
“So confident?”
“Of course.”
“Then… do you dare to accept the challenge?” Leon asked.
Roswiser looked down at the dragon pattern on Leon’s chest and quickly understood, “Dragon Pattern… do not light the challenge?”
“Correct.”
“Okay, what’s there to be afraid of?”
Roswiser replied, “But every challenge must have a win or lose, right? What if you lose?”
“Do as you please.”
“Good, if you win, I’ll give you an extra seven days off.”
“Deal!”
Yes!
Leon felt ecstatic in his heart; he’d turned the tables on her and successfully led Roswiser into his logical trap.
Because even without this ‘do not light the challenge,’ with this Mother Dragon’s personality, she would surely continue to provoke him.
Then, with the lace swimsuit + active teasing + the dragon pattern buff, even if Leon were a rock, he’d end up blushing!
