Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You – Chapter 93

96 Who Says Noia Can’t Give an Assist!

“Casmod, you’ll never see me in a bunny girl outfit, just give up on that dream.”

“But… why do you want to see me in a bunny girl outfit so badly?”

While she didn’t really want to probe into her status in Leon’s heart, who knew where this question might lead? It could reel in some juicy gossip!

So… it was all just for fishing, plus pure curiosity!

“Because… because… I…”

His voice was trailing off, sounding like he was about to fall asleep any second.

Roswiser’s curiosity was completely piqued, and she leaned in, not wanting to miss a word.

However.

“Zzz… zzz…”

“Hey, what’s going on? Speak up!”

Roswiser gently nudged his shoulder.

Leon just turned over with a grunt.

Roswiser, sitting on the bed like a fluffed-up duck, crossed her arms and glanced at the clock.

2:31 AM.

Oh hey, it’s well past 2:30 AM!

“This little guy, he said 2:30 and sticks to it like glue, not a second more or less.”

Roswiser huffed, “Next time, I’ll just let you sleepwalk and see if you still get this lucky.”

Well… since it was past 2:30, Roswiser had achieved her goal for the night.

Now… should she take advantage of this guy’s total unawareness and give him a lesson that had been delayed for half a month?

As she pondered, Roswiser reached out towards his cheek.

But just as her fingertip was about to touch Leon, she paused.

She remembered how, during the celebration dinner after Noia’s entrance exam, she had gotten drunk, and that was Leon’s perfect opportunity to pounce.

But he had said he didn’t want to take advantage of her inebriation because a Dragon Slayer should defeat the Dragon King with honor.

Roswiser’s pupils flicked as she muttered, “Hmph, and you know what? It wouldn’t be effective if you’re all woozy – it’s way more effective to torment you when you’re awake.”

With that, Roswiser threw off the covers, tiptoed out of bed, took one last glance at Leon, and slipped out of the nursery.

The next morning, Leon woke up groggily, his eyes barely cracked open, spotting the clock: 7:15 AM.

Wow, so early, time for a snooze—

Huh?

So early?

Wait a second!

Leon jolted up, looking around the bedside, then checking the other possible lounging spots around the room.

All neat and tidy, there was absolutely no sign of a battle having taken place.

Given the usual intensity of his homework submissions, the room should be in utter chaos right now.

But last night… seemed like nothing happened?

Once Leon’s head cleared up a bit, he spun a thought and came to a conclusion:

She was scared.

I won!

See, folks, this is how a fully-recovered top Dragon Slayer flexes that bloodline suppression on the Dragon Race.

Just let me grow a bit more, and I’ll be able to effortlessly handle that Mother Dragon.

Leon felt a bright future ahead.

But he couldn’t pop the champagne just yet.

With that crafty Mother Dragon, she might just scheme to trip him up, then take her shot.

Leon finally had the upper hand, and he couldn’t let it slip away.

He needed to be extra cautious.

With that thought, Leon climbed out of bed, washed up, got dressed, and headed out to the dining room.

As he opened the door, he ran right into Roswiser.

She had swapped out her fiery little nightgown from last night for a comfy, casual long dress.

They exchanged glances, and Leon spoke first,

“What time did you leave last night?”

Roswiser, busy fixing her hair, replied nonchalantly, “I left when you fell asleep.”

“Didn’t you say you were coming to sleep in my room?”

“Yeah, I slept for a bit and then left. What’s wrong with that?”

The beauty pouted, glancing sideways, “What? Sounds like you’re a bit disappointed?”

Leon chuckled; she clearly ran off like a scared little Mother Dragon when she realized this guy was not the same!

Don’t think I can’t tell.

But Leon had learned the ropes; he knew to play dumb in front of this Mother Dragon.

“What’s there to be disappointed about? Sleeping is just sleeping, right? This entire castle is yours; you can sleep wherever you want.”

“You’re mistaken.”

Hearing this, Leon paused and turned around, “Mistaken about what?”

Roswiser stepped forward, brushing by him slowly, gazing into his eyes,

“This castle is mine; everything in it is mine. Including you, my little prisoner.”

Leon scoffed and shrugged, completely unfazed.

This level of mental attack wasn’t doing much to him anymore.

Hey Mother Dragon, it’s time for an update on your tactics.

With his hands shoved in his pockets, Leon turned and strolled toward the dining room.

Noticing her tactic wasn’t working, Roswiser’s mind sparked with an idea.

She followed along, sidling up to Leon, casually saying,

“By the way, I heard you talking in your sleep last night.”

“What did I say?”

“Something jumbled. Sounded like… something about a female classmate, regretting not agreeing to be with you back in the day, or some such drama.”

Leon froze, panic flashing across his face.

He had indeed turned down quite a few female classmates over the years for the sake of his studies and career.

But most were long gone from his memory. He barely even remembered their names or faces.

Except for one.

He could still picture her distinctly.

Leon stole a glance at the Mother Dragon beside him—

Ah, yes, yes, yes, she fits the bill.

Realistically, the only classmate who could make Leon talk in his sleep had to be this one.

Leon remembered he had hesitated when he initially turned her down.

What could he say? The girl was quite his type.

Yet his answer back then was still, “You’re a great girl.”

How had all these years passed, and now he was mumbling about her in his sleep?

Roswiser noted Leon’s reaction and thought he was piecing together his “list of rejected female classmates,” and he probably figured out who she was hinting at.

Feeling quite smug, Roswiser continued to act clueless, mounting her acting skills by saying,

“Oh, you said if you had said yes, you wouldn’t have become a Dragon Slayer, nor would you have ended up captured, regretting everything.”

Roswiser clapped her hands together dramatically in a prayer pose, “Tsk, tsk, tsk, so touching, Dragon Slayer! Who would’ve thought you had such a heart-wrenching crush? Compared to that, I guess I really am like an evil dragon, tearing you lovebirds apart.”

Leon turned green at that remark.

It felt like he had just swallowed ten pounds of carrots in one go.

“I… I never had a crush on her, don’t make stuff up!”

Hmph, of course I know you didn’t crush on her! You spilled your heart out in your sleep last night!

“So does dreaming about her mean you were still thinking of being with her?”

But all I want is to hear you say more while you’re awake!

“It’s just dreaming; you can’t control what you dream about.”

Roswiser crossed her arms and marched on toward the dining room, “Still the strongest Dragon Slayer, yet you can’t even admit to liking a little girl. How embarrassing!”

Leon hurried after her, hands raised in a pleading gesture, “I really didn’t have a crush!”

“Not listening.”

“You have to listen; how can you not listen?!”

“Time to eat~”

“Hey, you Mother Dragon, seriously—”

Moon stepped out of her room, rubbing her sleepy eyes. She was dressed in pink pajamas, her hair all tousled, her sleep cap slipping off her head.

At the end of the hallway, she spotted Mom and Dad’s figures.

Dad was chatting away while Mom giggled to herself.

Hmm… they must be sharing some funny morning jokes~

Mom and Dad really are happy, huh~

Later that evening, the school bus Leviathan slowly descended.

Leon raised his hand to shield his eyes, looking up at the hulking beast hovering in the sky, “If we had one of those as a pet, how much would it need to eat in a day?”

Roswiser crossed her arms, “What? Are you planning to retire with your female classmates and raise one?”

“Is this never-ending?!”

A beam of light appeared, and Noia came sprinting out, waving goodbye to a few classmates on the Leviathan.

Oh, looks like our daughter is doing well socially at school!

“Mom, Dad, I’m back!”

The maid rushed up to greet her and took the backpack off Noia’s back.

“Moon.” Noia opened her arms wide.

Moon giggled and dashed over, “Sister~”

The two little dragon girls embraced, nuzzling affectionately.

The couple looked on with smiles of delight.

But Leon noticed Noia was holding something, and asked, “Noia, is that your homework?”

Noia took her sister’s hand and approached, handing Leon the paper.

Leon took it, realizing it was some kind of competition rules.

“An essay contest?”

Roswiser leaned in to check, “All students are to write an essay of no less than 800 words based on the theme of ‘Family’ and ‘Happiness.’ Oh, there’s a word limit too.”

Leon returned the rules to Noia, “So have you figured out what to write?”

Noia nodded, “Yep! Since the theme is family and happiness, most of my classmates will likely write about family bonds, considering there’s a lot of dragon families.”

“If I write about family bonds too, I won’t have any advantages. So I think I’ll go a different route and exploit the unique advantages of a live-birth dragon family.”

The couple exchanged glances and blinked, “Unique advantages of a live-birth family? You mean…”

Noia grinned, “That would be you two!”
