The Paranoid Elf Queen Turned Me Into Her Sister – Chapter 12

Chapter 12 – A Murky Future

Tillysha?

Fland’s face flickered with a shadow of malevolence. He simply couldn’t wrap his head around it—after he meticulously schemed to do Dillin in, why the heck was a Wild Female still joining Dillin’s team?

What was wrong with this batch of Wild Females? He’d only heard of blind Male, but now blind Wild Female was showing up too?

If Dillin were just an average Male, it would’ve been understandable to recruit some weaker or less remarkable Wild Female. But Dillin was basically a cripple, lacking nearly any Male talent.

In fact, if Dillin had even a bit more talent, Fland wouldn’t have dared to mess with him. For one, the cost would be too high, the investment wouldn’t pay off, and there wouldn’t even be any guarantee of success. Secondly, pissing off a future Male—no matter how average his gift—was sure to leave a sour taste later after he’s grown.

Fland figured that there was absolutely no way a Wild Female would look twice at Dillin, which is exactly why he acted so uninhibitedly.

“What is this Tillysha’s last name?” Fland suppressed a surge of irritation and asked.

“Didn’t say her last name. Maybe the lady has her own reasons and doesn’t want to share. We shouldn’t pry, right?”

“No last name?” Upon hearing this, Fland let out a small sigh of relief.

Ah, so she’s just some random nobody Wild Female. Likely the illegitimate daughter of some no-name Wild Female family, without recognition or title.

At this thought, Fland felt significantly more at ease.

Indeed, a blind Male paired with an unknown Wild Female was a match made in heaven.

“What does she look like?”

“The Tillysha you’re talking about, the little Wild Female who hasn’t fully awakened her powers yet? Platinum blonde hair, eyes like emerald jade, pretty cute. But she has this weird scar on her face… Not sure if it’s a scar or birthmark, it does look kinda awkward.”

“Oh, and when she came to sign up for the team earlier, she had her ears wrapped in bandages. Don’t know why, didn’t ask.”

Fland frowned at this.

A scar on her face and ears wrapped with bandages?

He couldn’t figure it out. Likely, just another oddball like Dillin. After all, birds of a feather flock together.

However…… platinum hair?

There weren’t even that many blondes in Coleman Academy, let alone platinum blondes. Fland had never seen any such students before.

“Tillysha? Never heard of that name. Miss Blyth, is there someone with that name in this year’s intake?”

“Of course not. This Wild Female just enrolled today.”

“New student?” Fland’s eyebrows furrowed.

Coleman Academy’s admission standards for new students were extremely stringent. But there was one exception: Wild Females.

Compared to Males, Mages, Alchemists, and other professions, Wild Females had divine bloodline powers. They were rare resources among rare resources. In any team, they had the strongest presence, the highest output, and the strongest fighting power. Their Divine Authority was innate, unlike the cultivated abilities of Mages and Fighters.

So no matter where Wild Females went, there was always a school that would take them. Admission requirements were therefore relatively relaxed—basically, if you confirmed someone was a Wild Female, they’d be allowed to enroll without much hassle.

“Did you approve her admission?”

“Why not? It’s the enrollment season, and a new Wild Female joining fits the rules. Regardless of her family, taking her in won’t be a loss.”

“But isn’t it standard practice to test Wild Females before they enroll?”

“Yes, but due to the session already starting, we decided to cut the mustard first and enroll her, with the testing to follow later.”

“She hasn’t been tested to see what type of Wild Female she is yet?”

“Yeah, the test is scheduled for tomorrow, with specialized testers dispatched by the academy.”

“Ah, I’m sorry to disturb your lunch break, Miss Blyth.” Understanding this, Fland left, making his own plans.

Back in the dormitory, Dillin lay sprawled on his bed like a dismantled robot. His previous movement was a bit too energetic, and the hair accessory in his arms fell out.

He held this accessory tightly, thoughts swirling in his mind.

After removing the accessory and folding his hands in prayer, he could transform back from his Elf state. This was something he learned later.

He was incredibly relieved he could revert. After working so hard these past few years, he didn’t want to become a blacklisted person again. In this world, he’d be completely immobilized otherwise.

Dillin had no attachment to his Elf identity and didn’t want to seek any advantages through it. He didn’t wish to have anything to do with the Elf Clan, and doing so would bring plenty of trouble.

After leaving Coleman Forest, Dillin first visited the monastery.

Bilodis kept her promise. Somehow, she cured the Dean’s illness and the monastery escaped its relocation crisis.

Staring at the magical hair accessory in his hand, Dillin’s thoughts became muddled.

He clearly wasn’t the reincarnation of Bilodis’ younger sister, so why did he turn into an Elf?

Even as an Elf, he had no memory of any past life as one.

This hair accessory was evidently a significant sacred relic of the Elf Clan. Was it risky for him to have it?

Of course, what concerned him most was whether Bilodis would find out he hadn’t died and what measures she’d take upon learning so?

He still didn’t know what Bilodis meant for the Elf Clan, but she must have a lofty position, perhaps even higher than the current Elf King.

So, how many people knew about Bilodis’ plan? Did the Elf King know? If so, would it affect his life at the academy?

The key issue was Bilodis’ and presumably the Elf Clan’s attitude towards him. But if the academy’s higher-ups had no clue about all this, he’d continue to feign ignorance and pretend nothing happened.

The idea of becoming his own Wild Female was something he just came up with. As long as he used the moon crown to disguise his ears and kept his identity hidden, theoretically, there shouldn’t be any major issues.

He indeed considered transferring to another academy, but after careful thought, an Elf showing up at any academy outside Coleman would attract more attention, with the end result being the same.

For now, he’d just take it one step at a time.

Was this punishment the result of her having read too many little picture books about elves in her past life? This time, she was fully immersed—actually turned into an elf herself… “So yeah, I really can’t bring myself to like you arrogant pointy-eared types.” “My dear little sister, say no more. I understand everything.” “I told you already—I’m not your sister’s reincarnation!!” Theresa was utterly hopeless.
