### 09. Sensitivity
5/35
The plot-wrecking punishment has turned into firing up S*X?
On her way back to the dormitory, Ning Chu’s cheeks still wore a rosy hue, but her expression was as serious as a cat with a hairball.
Just a little leg rubbing, but that feeling of hidden delight was already etched deep in her heart.
So weird…
Even though it felt nice, her sense of vigilance was cranked up to maximum capacity.
If she really got sucked into it, wouldn’t she end up becoming that supporting female character in the story? Sooner or later, she’d be unable to hold back and have a plot-twist moment with Wen Yang.
Now, that would be downright terrifying!
When she was male, the consequence for disrupting the narrative was a stomach ache and a dose of femininity, but now that she was female, was it a downward spiral into emotional chaos?
Even though it was a scorching thirty-five-degree day, the chill running down her spine made her shudder.
“Going to the cafeteria for dinner?” Wen Yang paused at the entrance, glancing back at the others.
“My takeout is probably already here.”
“Same here.”
Wen Yang didn’t ask them further and turned his gaze to Ning Chu, who simply shook her head, “Forget it, I want to head back to the dorm and rest.”
“Well, I….” He hesitated and followed in her footsteps, “You guys wait for me; I’ll grab some food to go?”
“Just right for a snack run to the convenience store.” Zhang Shaoqing grinned, “I heard a new movie came out; let’s watch it together tonight?”
Wang Jie curiously asked, “What type?”
“Thrilling!”
Suddenly, the men were all ears, but Ning Chu maintained a straight face and firmly rejected, “You want to watch it? Go ahead! Don’t drag us into it!”
Wen Yang glanced at her and nodded vigorously, “Right! You can just hide in your blanket for that; what do you need us for?”
Earlier, it wouldn’t have mattered watching a movie with Ning Chu since he didn’t know she was a girl. Now, with a girl he liked next to him while watching… too embarrassing for words.
“What are you guys thinking? I’m talking about horror movies!”
“……”
The group bickered back to the dorm, while Ning Chu looked troubled, occasionally glancing down to see if her body had changed in any way.
The emotional chaos corresponded to her earlier stomach pain; this was merely the first punishment for breaking the plot. And now as a girl, the alleged punishment for femininity—who knew what that turned into?
The uncertainty made her a bit anxious, and once back in the dorm, she bolted for the bathroom.
As before, she carefully inspected her face first.
No significant changes, except that all minor flaws seemed to have vanished, and her almond-shaped eyes appeared even more enchanting.
Even sassier.
She bit her lip and looked at her body.
The little peaks looked like they may have slightly inflated, but not by much—perhaps they hadn’t even hit a B-cup yet.
Ning Chu measured with her hand, her face suddenly flushing a noticeable shade of red.
Clearly, the most sensitive parts were covered with Band-Aids, but her sensitivity was evidently on the rise!
Before, touching felt like poking at a squishy lump terrified of pain, just a bit of pressure would drive her nuts, but now? The feedback was oddly pleasant.
After several more tries, it was confirmed.
“So it’s sensitivity that changed…”
Her face fell into a frown, but worried about even worse life-altering changes, she suppressed the bad emotions and continued to observe.
Lifting her shirt, her gaze landed on her flat stomach.
No muscle to her name; her little belly, though flat, felt squishy like cotton. But the most critical detail was a subtle light pink line on her lower abdomen—almost missed if not closely examined.
“Skin condition?”
Just a wavy line, shapeless, leaving her utterly confused.
Ning Chu paused but thought little of it.
“Hurry up!” Zhang Shaoqing shouted impatiently outside, “You fall into a pit or what? So slow! I’m about to pee my pants!”
That frantic yet pleading tone made Ning Chu want to laugh. She pressed the toilet flush and finally opened the door.
Before she could step outside, Zhang Shaoqing barged in, pants down, with a river of sound following him.
Ning Chu grimaced and tried to slip out but heard Zhang Shaoqing’s teasing question, “Big, huh?”
“Ew, gross.”
Not even looking back.
It’s not like the book lacked descriptions about the size of the antagonists.
At best, it’s normal male size, but in Little Emperor Wen’s world, it was puppy dog level—compared to Wen Yang, he was practically a bug.
Otherwise, Zhang Shaoqing wouldn’t care so much about size.
Hearing the derisive tone, Zhang Shaoqing was fuming, “What!? You think you’re better? Let’s compare then!”
“Childish.”
Ning Chu left the bathroom and returned to the dorm. Her dinner had already arrived, placed on the desk by Wen Yang.
Curry chicken cutlet rice, twenty bucks.
Takeout from an off-campus restaurant, which cost more than the on-campus cafeteria food.
Taking a bite of the chicken cutlet, she chewed while scrolling through a food review video, but her mind kept wandering back to the punishment issue.
This time it was about heightened sensitivity, but it didn’t seem to be too serious a hassle.
After all, she wouldn’t allow any guy to touch her body.
Just after a few bites, Ning Chu glanced over at Wen Yang, “What did you have for dinner?”
Wen Yang, also halfway through his meal, looked up.
“Come here, I can’t finish my chicken; I’ll give you two pieces.”
With the month almost ending, even if Wen Yang didn’t say it, she could definitely tell this guy’s dining standard had dropped again.
“Fine.”
Wen Yang strolled over, taking two pieces of chicken, but didn’t leave, sitting down next to her to watch the video.
“What did you eat today?”
“Just some shredded potatoes.”
“Get me a little.”
Ning Chu tilted her head, handing him the bowl: “Just a little; I don’t really like potatoes.”
“Okay.” Wen Yang’s expression turned dim, and after a moment of silence, he added, “I have to go part-time this week.”
“!!!”
Her caring for Wen Yang was mainly to prevent him from doing part-time work!
Ning Chu immediately objected, “No way! Don’t you do gaming practice every night for money?”
“That’s unstable…”
“Absolutely not!”
She stared stubbornly at Wen Yang, but this time he too was being particularly rebellious: “I’ve already arranged it; tutoring, fifty an hour.”
Oh boy! Now the rebellion was on!
Ning Chu surprisingly felt delighted inside; her firm opposition would surely reduce Wen Yang’s affection for her.
“No way!” she raised her voice, glaring daggers at him.
The more outrageous, the better! Especially with no real reason!
“Stop arguing.”
Wang Jie jumped in as peacemaker, “It’s just that weekends in the dorm are all about gaming; it’s a good experience for Wen Yang to earn some money.”
Not good! I know it is, but what are you doing here?!
Ning Chu blinked, crossing her arms and looking away, “Then I’ll go too.”
“Just a middle-school kid, why would they need two tutors…” Wen Yang pointedly emphasized the student’s and parent’s gender, “Single parent, only the dad at home.”
In the end, Ning Chu was not one to throw tantrums without reason.
She had no valid opposition, reluctantly looking down to continue eating, muttering, “Still not going…”
