206. Wen Yang
~
As the curtains were drawn open, glaring sunlight spilled into the room, waking up the girl in bed.
She let out a disgruntled grumble, yanked the blanket over her head, and turned away from the window.
“It’s time to get up for breakfast.”
Her mother’s gentle voice echoed in her ears, prompting Ning Chu to reluctantly open her eyes and respond with a half-hearted “Mm…”
After a moment, she finally poked her head out from the covers, one hand shielding her eyes from the bright light, and looked up at her mother standing by the bed.
“What time is it?” she yawned, still full of sleep.
“It’s almost ten! Do you usually wake up this late for class?”
“No… I didn’t sleep well last night.”
Sharing the same bed with her mother felt a bit awkward, leaving her tossing and turning for ages without falling asleep. She only managed to read novels until late into the night, not even knowing when she finally dozed off.
Seeing her confused expression, her mother sighed with resignation, “What will you do when you get married someday~?”
Ning Chu jumped, shaking her head vigorously: “Not getting married!”
“Alright, not getting married.” Her mother nonchalantly lowered her head to sweep the floor, reminding her, “Breakfast is in the living room. Hurry up before your brother finishes it all.”
“Okay!”
Marriage—well, if it were Wen Yang, she might consider it.
Rubbing her sleepy eyes, Ning Chu wandered into the living room and plopped down next to Ning Yuan.
Still looking dazed and yawning, she reclined on the sofa, cradling a warm cup of soy milk, sipping and nodding off again, nearly drifting back to sleep.
Ning Yuan shot a glance at his younger brother, who was clad in nothing but short sleeves.
That little bun was certainly eye-catching, with a disheveled outfit that revealed a patch of pale skin on his belly.
He suddenly thought Ning Chu was looking a bit too enchanting.
That face looked quite innocent, yet every gesture carried a certain alluring quality, making him feel like he was awkwardly peeking at a girl he shouldn’t be.
“Ning Yuan, did you buy your brother a birthday gift?”
“Yeah, I already sent her five hundred online for her to spend however she likes.”
“Later, take her downstairs to get some drinks. We’re having seafood for lunch.”
“Seafood?!”
Ning Chu, who had just nearly dozed off, suddenly perked up: “Mom! What seafood?!”
“Go check the kitchen yourself.”
She dashed into the kitchen, peeking over the sink, unable to contain her surprise: “I can’t believe it! Such a big crab!”
She was then met with her mother’s dark expression: “Watch your language!”
“Oh…”
Just a particle of speech, really.
Since moving here, the only seafood Ning Chu had likely eaten was probably the kelp in hot pot.
Shrimp was out of the question; after all, one had to provide for a man.
She stared longingly at the various seafood in the sink but suddenly remembered something and turned her head toward the living room.
Her brother was still playing on his phone.
Confirming Ning Yuan’s whereabouts, she scooted over to her mother, her face turning red, and whispered, “Mom, can you take my brother out for a bit later…?”
“What’s up?”
“Um…”
She had initially planned to unleash her frustrations before returning home, but Wen Yang’s interruption had left her a ticking time bomb, ready to explode at any moment in front of her mother and brother.
If she lost control and did something inappropriate in front of her brother…
Oh no! Just thinking about it was terrifying!
Comparing potential disasters to the current situation, Ning Chu suddenly felt it wasn’t so shameful to explain things to her mother, stammering out: “I just want to be alone at home, um…”
After all, they were both succubi, and with the blush on her daughter’s face, her mother understood immediately.
Covering her mouth, she smiled elegantly and said, “Alright, I’ll go order a cake with your brother; it should only take half an hour.”
To be honest, Ning Chu was getting more and more curious about how her mother dealt with things.
But she didn’t dare ask for fear of getting in trouble.
Once her redness faded a bit, she returned to the living room to eat breakfast.
It was already past ten, and the breakfast was just a meat bun and a cup of soy milk. Filling her stomach prepared her for the anticipated seafood feast at noon.
But soon, she noticed Ning Yuan frequently glancing her way.
Ning Chu wolfed down the rest of her breakfast, ready to get up, but heard Ning Yuan call out to her: “Sister.”
“Hmm?”
“Did Mom not say you’ve… matured?”
From Ning Yuan’s perspective, her changes were so significant that it was hard for him to recognize her. Yet for some reason, their mother showed no reaction.
“She must have… told you.”
It seemed her brother didn’t know their mother was a succubus.
Ning Chu looked at her mother busy in the kitchen. Although their mother still looked like she was in her thirties and had a decent figure, she didn’t show many signs of being a succubus.
The tail, whether like Lily’s, always coiling around her thighs, was a bit worrisome.
What if she ended up with a tail, too…?
“Ning Yuan, let’s go out and order the cake.”
“Isn’t it me and Ning Chu who are going?”
“She just got back last night; let her rest.”
Their mother moved to the door, slipping on a coat hanging on the rack. Turning back, she noticed Ning Chu’s face was already flushed and her legs pressed tightly together.
She paused for a moment, then casually urged: “Ning Yuan, hurry up.”
“Fine, fine.” Ning Yuan got up helplessly, “The day I just took off work, you dragged me around everywhere, and my feet were sore.”
“That’s because you never exercise normally.”
He sluggishly shuffled towards the door, putting on his shoes.
“Oh, by the way, Ning Chu.” He suddenly turned back, but their mother had already stood behind him, hands pressing on his shoulders, pushing him out the door.
“If you have something to say, just tell her when you get back! If we don’t order the cake soon, we might not make it in time for dinner.”
“It’s sure to be fine, right?”
Ning Yuan stumbled out, and with a bang, the door was firmly shut behind him.
On the sofa, Ning Chu, who had been trying hard to maintain her composure like Lily, finally lost it at the sound of the closing door.
She melted into the couch, breathing in small gasps as a thin sheen of sweat broke out on her forehead.
Oh no!
It was really happening, just like she’d imagined!
Thankfully, Ning Yuan hadn’t looked at her too closely, or he would have certainly noticed something off.
The intensity of the fire this time was exceptionally fierce. As soon as she relaxed, the warmth spread throughout her body, giving her skin a teasing rose tint.
Breathing heavily, she cast sultry glances at the ceiling, her thighs tightly pressed together, the slight friction feeling like a cat’s scratch, fueling an even stronger desire for relief and satisfaction.
Wen Yang!
What’s with going out early in the morning!
After this, the silver thread would be completely complete! From now on, releasing her urges wouldn’t be just a plot-disrupting punishment; it’d be like Lily’s—unexpected and at all the wrong times.
Wen Yang~
Although she grumbled, her mind couldn’t help but paint Wen Yang as her fantasy object.
