Vampire Girl Nana
10/20
“I have a girlfriend! How many times do I have to tell you!”
“Stop following me, d*mn it!”
“You’re seriously trying to drive me to my grave…”
By the time Wen Yang reached the classroom door, he was completely worn out.
He turned around to find the vampire girl Nana looking up at him with those innocent, red eyes, tears welling up.
Wen Yang had never seen such a clingy girl before.
He let loose with the most vulgar insults he could muster, but Nana remained unfazed, following him all the way from the hospital to school.
Even though it looked like she was about to cry from his scolding, she still wouldn’t let up on him.
With no other choice, Wen Yang’s irritation faded a bit. Leaning against the classroom wall, he asked, “Aren’t you going to class?”
“No!”
“I really can’t deal with your fear of men. I’m not a doctor.”
“But when I see you… I’m not so scared anymore.”
Nana lowered her head, fiddling with the straps of her hood.
Suddenly, Wen Yang reached out towards her face, causing her to panic and stumble back several steps, nearly falling to the ground. Her heart raced, eyes wide in shock, staring at Wen Yang.
“See? You’re afraid of me too.”
“Okay, maybe not that afraid…”
Wen Yang’s eyelid twitched, and he quipped, “What a weird problem to have.”
“Go see a therapist; stop bothering me.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Nana excitedly rushed towards him, even trying to cling to his arm.
This isn’t a fear of men!
Wen Yang freaked out and yanked his arm away, stepping back in a panic. “What the heck! Don’t touch me!”
With Ning Chu’s sharp senses, if Nana managed to touch him, he’d probably have to sleep in the dorm tonight, curled up in shame.
Waking up to see the adorable little succubus would be way better than finding two muscular guys next to him!
“I told you! I have a fear of girls! Don’t you dare touch me!”
Wen Yang rarely cursed, but it didn’t stop Nana from closing in on him step by step.
When he backed into a corner, with nowhere to escape, a familiar voice echoed from the stairs below.
Glancing at the girl who was now just a few steps away, Wen Yang felt his scalp tingle and shouted, “Ning Chu! Help!”
Ning Chu, who was chatting with Yan Xinya, turned pale when she heard his cry for help and rushed up the stairs in a flurry.
What the heck! What’s going on?!
Yan Xinya was even quicker, darting up the stairs like a dog unleashed, taking in the situation before anxiously calling back, “Ning Chu! There’s a bad woman!”
“……”
Ning Chu followed closely behind, guided by the wolf girl’s directions, only to find Wen Yang cornered by a petite, fair-skinned girl.
So it’s just this?
She sighed in relief, but anxiety gripped her again.
That bad woman is trying to steal my male protagonist!
Ning Chu’s face darkened as she strode forward, her hair blowing in the wind, feeling like an enraged lioness.
Nana glanced back at her but stayed silent. Meanwhile, Wen Yang immediately got nervous and darted away from the corner.
“Let me explain…”
This opening took Ning Chu by surprise.
“She keeps clinging to me, and I just can’t deal with it.” Wen Yang was never good at handling women, especially ones that wouldn’t take a hint.
Although under Ning Chu’s guidance, he had learned to shout a few orders, but Nana completely ignored that tactic.
“Alright, I got it.”
Ning Chu turned her attention to Nana. Unlike other girl side characters who were just after Wen Yang’s body, this vampire girl seemed more intent on curing her fear of men, which made her especially clingy.
“Are you… his girlfriend?”
Nana looked curiously at Ning Chu, who was dressed in boy’s clothes.
“……”
Ning Chu instinctively leaned her head in agreement but suddenly realized they were at the classroom entrance.
Several classmates were curiously watching; if she nodded, the news of her and Wen Yang being an item would be all over the school forum by tomorrow!
She stepped closer. “Let’s talk somewhere else.”
But Nana’s gaze flickered past her, landing on Wen Yang standing behind her.
“I have a way to cure your problem.”
Ning Chu’s words instantly captivated Nana’s attention.
Her eyes lit up, and she eagerly nodded, “Where to?”
Ning Chu grasped her wrist and led her down the stairs.
But after a couple of steps, she suddenly reminded Nana, “By the way, I’m actually a guy.”
“!!!”
Nana’s body jolted, her face turning pale as she began to struggle fiercely.
Caught off guard, Ning Chu was flung away and stumbled back, colliding into Wen Yang, not feeling any pain.
That’s good news.
In the book, there were no detailed setups for Nana’s fear of men; it was simply to provide an awkward reason for a shy girl to initiate contact with and even seduce the male protagonist over time.
Such a setup is thrilling!
Even while being terrified, she was pushed into confronting the abyss of emotional chaos!
Ning Chu suddenly felt as if she saw herself in this description…
“Psychological issues, huh~” Ning Chu shook off her thoughts, rising from Wen Yang’s embrace and looking at Nana, who was now curled up in the corner, trembling while hugging her wrist.
“What’s the plan?” Wen Yang asked curiously.
“That hypnosis spray will definitely work!”
“Ah, that…” He suddenly realized.
But Ning Chu awkwardly muttered, “I left it at home.”
As she became more adapted to this world, her previous victim mentality had faded, especially with Wen Yang’s protection; the hypnosis spray didn’t seem that crucial anymore.
If she remembered to bring it, great; if not, she couldn’t be bothered to go back for it.
Ning Chu stepped forward, getting closer to Nana. “Come with me at noon, and I promise I can help you.”
Nana, whimpering in the corner like a bullied schoolgirl, looked up at her with tearful eyes.
“Really? If you don’t believe me, you can ask Wen Yang!”
Nana glanced at Wen Yang, who nodded in agreement.
“Okay, then…”
“But you have to stop bothering Wen Yang. That’s the only condition.”
“Mm-hmm.”
Just then, the class bell rang.
Ning Chu sighed in relief; if everything went as planned, this little drama would wrap up by noon.
“Alright, time to head back to class~”
She turned to the classroom and reminded Wen Yang, “You go to the library to study by yourself at noon, don’t come back to the rental with me.”
“Why not?”
Because the storyline punishments were getting harder to bear.
Just once, she might lose her mind and voluntarily let Wen Yang have his way with her.
That would be her last line of defense against her descent into chaos! It was something she had dreaded since her arrival in this world…
Things would go south for sure!
