With Wen Yang’s holiday work money, along with Ning Chu’s living allowance and manuscript fees from her family, the duo’s finances were surprisingly solid. Even if they went a few months without an income, they had enough cash to last them quite a while.
But Wen Yang was restless. After being broke for so long, he was busier than ever.
Setting up shop at night, working part-time during the day, and completely booked on Sunday—they were living the hustle.

“She’s busy, practicing her dance every day. The May Day festival is coming up!”
Not seeing that annoying vixen lifted Ning Chu’s spirits considerably. She stepped inside, only to be greeted eagerly by the Wolf Girl.
“Why are you here? You brought something?” Wolf Girl rushed over, peering into her bag.
“Stuff Wen Yang couldn’t sell. Just some toothbrushes and cups for you guys.”
“Perfect! We need to stock up in the dorm, saves us buying stuff later~ You don’t want any payment, right?”
“Nope, it’s a gift!”
Ning Chu casually handed over the bag to Yan Xinya and turned to face Lily.
Lily was sitting at her computer, concentrated on maneuvering her mouse, completely oblivious to her arrival.
Ning Chu crept up quietly, leaning over to take a glimpse at the screen.

Seeing Ning Chu’s expression go blank, Wolf Girl tried to reassure her, “But you’re a succubus! It’s totally normal! Right?”

Ning Chu could almost hear Lily thinking, “You have them, and so do I.”

“Classmates won’t find it weird,” Lily said, casually touching her decorative horns.

Yan Xinya added, “If classmates ask, just say you’re wearing them for fun with Lily~ Too bad I already have ears!”
Both girls understood that Ning Chu didn’t want to reveal her succubus identity, and Lily knew all too well how frustrating such a revelation could be.
