503. Leaving
“Wake up, wake up!”
Ning Chu leaned over the bed, gently shaking Wen Yang’s shoulder.
“It’s time to go back.”
The soft call stirred Wen Yang from his drunken slumber, his head pounding like a drum. Too lazy to open his eyes, he simply reached out and wrapped an arm around Ning Chu’s waist, his hand slipping down with practiced ease to press against the base of her tail.
“Hey!”
Caught off guard, Ning Chu was completely unprepared for the jolt of sensation that shot through her tail. It made her weak in the knees, and she crumpled right down onto Wen Yang.
She froze for a second, then felt a hand sneak under her skirt, giving her backside a hearty squeeze and preparing to lift her stockings and underwear.
“Wen Yang!”
Embarrassment surged, and she mustered what little strength she had left to grab the mischievous hand and shout into Wen Yang’s ear, “This is my grandfather’s house!”
Wen Yang felt like his eardrums were about to burst. His fuzzy brain finally cleared up, and he opened his eyes to see Ning Chu sprawled over him, her face flushed like a ripe tomato.
Seeing her blushing face, he quickly shifted his gaze toward the door.
Standing there were Ning Chu’s mother and grandmother, excitement lighting up their faces as they watched the two whispering to each other about who-knows-what…
With a “whoosh,” Wen Yang withdrew his probing hand and hurriedly sat up, offering a sheepish smile to his two elders.
Oh no!
There’s no way they’re not going to think I’m a total creeper! I’m going to get labeled as a bad influence!
But then again, these two are succubi…
“Young people are so lively~”
“Indeed~”
Ning Chu took a deep breath, using her arms to prop herself up. She straightened her messy skirt and shot a fierce glare at Wen Yang as she overheard her mother and grandmother’s teasing.
She had been far too indulgent with this guy! Otherwise, he wouldn’t have tried anything as soon as he woke up.
But succubi are just too sensitive! Even if she didn’t want to indulge him, she couldn’t help it… If this had happened in the rental apartment, she would’ve been blushing brightly and half-heartedly preparing to pull off her miniskirt.
“Let’s go grab something to eat; we need to leave.”
With her face still flushed, she roughly pushed Wen Yang, “Hurry up!”
Unable to vent her anger on her mother and grandmother, she redirected all her frustrations onto the culprit.
“Oh, okay.”
Wen Yang, feeling guilty, scrambled out of bed. He couldn’t dare to look at his future mother-in-law, only sensing the teasing glances directed at him. He even managed to put his slippers on backward before dashing out of the room in a hurry.
His bl**d was pumping, and each time he woke up, he was like a balloon fully inflated. In his fluster, he didn’t even think to cover himself, leaving everyone present nothing short of amused.
“Looks like he’s quite… big…” his mother murmured, casting a sidelong glance at her petite daughter sitting on the bed. “Really impressive.”
“…..”
Ning Chu covered her face with one hand, thoroughly mortified.
She absolutely didn’t want to be praised by her succubus mother for that… Even when she felt the bulge in her own belly, she would often think the same thing.
After the antics, the group slowly made their way downstairs.
Her mother and grandmother continued their whispered conversations, their eyes constantly darting toward Ning Chu, clearly not saying anything complimentary, but as long as she couldn’t hear them, it was fine.
Wen Yang, still recovering from the hangover and having missed lunch, was now wolfing down food as her grandfather sat across from him, nodding in approval, his head bobbing like a bobblehead.
“With a build like that, you should eat more.”
“In my day, I needed a basin for my meals; I could eat with half of your energy.”
“Too bad your drinking isn’t up to par.”
Wen Yang was clearly taken aback by receiving compliments for his appetite. He blanked for a second and dug in even more ruthlessly.
“Ning Chu, in half an hour, we’re taking a taxi.” She called down the stairs, plopping into a chair. “If we don’t leave soon, we might miss the train.”
“Okay.”
Her grandfather turned to her, “Taxi? What a waste of money! I’ll call your cousin over to drive you.”
“Let’s not?”
Ning Chu wasn’t ready to face other relatives in this girly form.
Especially those who used to be close, playing together since childhood…
In their minds, she was still that frail, introverted little boy, and now, suddenly she was a seductive succubus… just thinking about it made her cringe.
“We can just take the bus…”
Seeing her panicking, her grandfather didn’t press too hard, glancing up at his daughter. “Is there enough money at home? Ning Xin’s tutoring classes are pretty expensive, right? That cat eats a lot too.”
“Dad, we’re fine.”
Her mother shoved her hands into her pockets and took a couple of steps back. “We have enough money.”
“If you’re short, just say so! Don’t let my little granddaughter go hungry!”
“You have no idea how round Ning Xin’s belly is right now; it’s about to pop! I’ll bring her to see you this weekend.”
Knowing his daughter was stubborn, her grandfather asked suspiciously, “Really alright?”
“That person returned some money to me…”
Mentioning “that person,” her mother never directly referred to Ning Chu’s father.
Ning Chu thought back to her mother lamenting how she hadn’t received a penny… It really was just as Wen Yang said; she was clearly putting on a poor-me act.
Women have a knack for these things.
She glanced over at Wen Yang, who had just finished eating, and went to gather the health supplements they were taking.
Her mother had already taken half of them…
“How are you two getting to the train station?” her grandfather asked.
“First, we’ll take the bus to the village entrance, then my mom and I will grab a taxi to the city.”
“When summer vacation comes, bring Wen Yang and Ning Xin, and stay with me for a few days.”
There’s nothing interesting here… This long day had nearly made Ning Chu go stir-crazy.
She nodded quickly, “Sure~ Definitely.”
“By then, I’ll set up, um… Wi-Fi? Bring your computers; you’ll have stuff to play with too.”
“Uh-huh.”
After Ning Chu had everything packed up, Wen Yang had just about polished off his meal.
“Let’s go, let’s go!”
Hearing the call, he didn’t even have time to wipe his mouth before hurriedly following after Ning Chu, glancing back and giving a cheerful wave, “Ning Chu and I are heading off now! We’ll come visit another time!”
“Look at him; he still knows to say goodbye before he leaves.”
Her mother shot a disapproving glance at Ning Chu, “Can’t you learn something good?”
“It’s not like I didn’t know I was leaving; why would I need to say goodbye specifically…”
“That’s called manners!”
“We’re already this familiar~”
Wen Yang lagged behind the mother-daughter duo, carrying a large bag of health supplements, sauntering down the main road outside the village.
While waiting for the bus to the provincial city, he put down the bag and was about to pull out his phone to pass the time when he suddenly froze.
Ning Chu turned around and asked, “What’s wrong?”
“When did I…” Wen Yang awkwardly pulled out a wad of cash from his pocket, “I didn’t even notice. Should I go return it now?”
“My grandfather is truly crafty~ He’ll stuff money into your pocket without you even realizing it. If you try to return it, he’ll just pretend it never happened!”
“If you don’t want it, can I have it?” Ning Chu leaned in eagerly.
“Sure.”
