631. Reunion
At the bustling train station, a tall and handsome man stood at the exit, frequently glancing down at his mobile phone, checking the time.
She must have gotten off by now, right?
After waiting patiently for half an hour, he was becoming increasingly restless as the moment of their meeting approached, pacing back and forth in a small area.
“Hey handsome~ my sister wants to add you on WeChat.”
A cheerful female voice chimed in his ear. Wen Yang glanced at the tall girl with little interest, shook his head dismissively, and returned his gaze to the exit.
From deep within the exit, figures began to emerge in waves, but unfortunately, the girl he had been thinking about was petite and lost in the crowd—a sea of black bodies as far as the eye could see.
Inadvertently, his feet moved forward, pushing him closer to the exit, as he leaned in to get a better view of the throng.
The crowd thinned out gradually, but he still couldn’t spot her.
“Was it the wrong train?”
Wen Yang muttered in confusion, looking down to send a message.
“Hey little cutie~ wanna go out?”
A slightly bashful voice came from behind him. He instinctively shook his head but suddenly froze.
In the chaos of the environment, he couldn’t detect any distinctive scent or feel any physical contact, yet his heart began to race inexplicably upon hearing that unfamiliar voice, and excitement bubbled up within him.
Wen Yang turned around, decisively responding, “Sure!”
The girl behind him was wearing a thin white shirt that was straining at the chest, paired with a checkered skirt, and her long legs were wrapped in black stockings.
She simply stood there and smiled, making everything around her fade into the background.
“Wow~ so you’re this easygoing, huh?”
Ning Chu reverted to her normal tone, pretending to be disdainful, but she had already stepped forward, wrapping her arms around Wen Yang’s waist and burying her face in his solid chest.
The familiar scent overwhelmed her, and her body softened. She greedily took a deep breath, her earlobes beginning to blush.
Wen Yang gently held the soft, almost boneless body, his hand gliding through her silky smooth hair from her head down to her waist.
“Have you eaten yet?”
“Not yet, the food on the train was super expensive.”
“Why didn’t I see you earlier?”
“I was purposely hiding behind someone, sneaking out from the side~”
After a moment of hugging, Ning Chu quickly realized something was amiss when she felt something hard pressed against her abdomen. She struggled to escape from Wen Yang’s embrace, glancing around nervously and muttering, “Too many people are watching…”
“Weren’t you the one who jumped in for a hug?”
She tucked her long hair behind her ear, feigning ignorance, and grabbed her luggage, shoving it into Wen Yang’s hands, saying, “Let’s go, let’s go! I’ve been on the bus for hours; my b*tt hurts, I’m exhausted!”
The train they took at one o’clock had already plunged into darkness.
“Shall we eat something outside first?”
Wen Yang’s suggestion was immediately shot down by Ning Chu: “Let’s go back first, I want to see the apartment you rented.”
She couldn’t hide her true feelings; Wen Yang teased softly, “No rush, we need to eat first. You need energy to keep up with me.”
“I’m just tired! I want to go back and rest!” Ning Chu huffed in indignation, “Besides, I need to buy towels, and a toothbrush! Who has time for all that nonsense!”
“I already bought them for you.”
“Well, I still need to rest! Let’s just order takeout!”
“Okay, okay, I’ll call for a ride?”
“Is it far? Can we take the subway to save some money?”
“It’s not too far.”
Perhaps due to their brief separation, this reunion made Ning Chu particularly excited and energetic.
Her heart raced so fast that she could almost hear it beating, and her cheeks flushed, the color creeping from her neck to her face, turning her ears a bright shade of red. All she wanted was to hold Wen Yang’s hand and get even closer.
She was unusually lively, her toes barely touching the ground as if she might leap up at any moment, her mouth running a mile a minute.
“You should have seen how happy my mom was when she got her marriage certificate with Uncle~”
“She got drunk last night and wouldn’t stop being all sweet with Uncle. Honestly, it was almost annoying!”
“I ran into my cousin yesterday; he’s pretty handsome, just a smidge below your level. But I didn’t dare tell him I was Ning Chu.”
“Black Bean is almost five feet tall now! What if she ends up taller than me?”
Wen Yang listened patiently to Ning Chu’s non-stop chatter, wearing a gentle smile and occasionally glancing down at her delicate profile, his eyes brimming with warmth.
As they arrived at the rideshare pick-up area, the densely packed crowd finally prompted her to close her mouth for a moment.
She was practically glued to Wen Yang, her big eyes curiously scanning the unfamiliar surroundings, unable to resist asking, “Wen Yang, how’s work been these past few days? Have those greasy old-timers been bullying you?”
“Didn’t you ask me about this online? No one’s bullying me; they’re all pretty nice.”
“Have there been…”
“I turned them all down; none of them are as good-looking or have a hot body like you, so don’t worry.”
“Well…”
“My boss is great too! I was supposed to work late today, but it wasn’t an issue when I said I had to leave.”
Ning Chu opened her mouth again.
“I sometimes work late, once or twice a week, but they pay overtime.”
She frowned in frustration, realizing that Wen Yang seemed to know exactly what she wanted to ask, leaving her glaring at him in annoyance. However, after a couple of pats on the head, her anger quickly dissipated.
“The car’s here.”
When they reached the rideshare vehicle, Wen Yang first placed Ning Chu’s luggage in the trunk, then hurriedly dashed around to open the door for her. He held the door frame, wary of Ning Chu accidentally bumping into it.
To him, Ning Chu was like a perpetually small child that needed his care at every turn.
At first, Ning Chu was a little awkward, but she gradually got used to it.
Not long after they got in the car, they arrived at the one-bedroom apartment that Wen Yang rented.
As soon as the door opened, Ning Chu eagerly squeezed inside, taking a quick glance at the room she had seen in the video and then comfortably flopping onto the bed.
Stretching her limbs and relaxing her stiff body after hours of travel, she let out a series of delighted sighs.
“What do you want to eat for dinner?”
Wen Yang stepped inside, shutting the door behind him and placing the luggage in a corner.
He glanced down at the takeout app, and when he looked up again, he found Ning Chu already sprawled across the bed with her backside in the air, her skirt riding up just enough to reveal her tail, the heart-shaped tip swaying tantalizingly.
Though Ning Chu was just plugging in her phone charger, her wriggling little backside betrayed her true intentions.
Wen Yang’s voice turned teasingly suggestive as he asked again, “What do you feel like eating?”
“What do you think?”
Ning Chu plugged in her phone, lifting her backside even higher.
“Eat me!”
