076. Where Is He?
After charging up the dormitory, Ning Chu trailed closely behind Wen Yang as they exited the Service Center.
As soon as they stepped outside, his eyes landed on a tall, full-figured girl with a cool demeanor descending the stairs opposite them, clutching two books.
His face immediately displayed a warning sign, fixated on the ice queen until she vanished from the teaching building. Only then did he relax.
That was the only Succubus in their class, a silent, icy girl who had a complicated storyline with Wen Yang.
It seemed like that plot hadn’t been triggered yet.
Ning Chu turned to look at Wen Yang, only to find him bent over, typing away on his mobile phone. He quickly leaned in, trying to peek at the screen.
A waft of light, feminine fragrance made Wen Yang alert; he instinctively hid his phone screen, looking up only to meet Ning Chu’s watchful gaze.
“Who are you chatting with?”
“This… someone asked me to play basketball at the gym.” He spoke with a hint of guilt, avoiding eye contact.
Ning Chu squinted slightly. “Who?”
“Um…”
After hesitating a moment, Wen Yang changed the subject. “I just want to get some exercise; I’ve got too much energy lately.”
Too much energy?
Ning Chu didn’t quite get what he meant: “Male or female?”
“Female… female…”
“I’ll go check it out too; I haven’t been to the gym since school started!”
“Sure…”

The gym was located to the east of the teaching building. Taking a shortcut through a small garden, a large building that resembled a warehouse came into view.
It was Ning Chu’s first time here, and he curiously looked around.
The area nearby was somewhat barren, the trees barely taller than a person, clearly indicating this was a newly developed part of the school. In the distance, he could spot a dense little grove, likely a popular spot for couples longing for some privacy.
No way he could come here at night! He’d surely stumble upon some lovebirds in the act.
As he curiously scanned the area, Ning Chu stepped into the gym.
It was noon, and with afternoon classes still to come, only a handful of students were scattered about.
He glanced around, and his eyes quickly locked onto today’s troublemaker.
Of course, it was her! Basketball coach! Shan Shan!
Shan Shan had been waiting on the court for a while. Upon spotting Wen Yang entering the gym, her eyes lit up, but then her expression darkened at the sight of Ning Chu following closely behind.
She desperately wanted to stand up and greet him, but her morning straightforwardness seemed to have made Wen Yang uncomfortable, so she pretended to play coy, looking down at her phone while stealing glances at the two.
“Her again? I told you, she’s definitely trouble,” Ning Chu frowned, keeping a close eye on Shan Shan. “A basketball coach charges a lot for one lesson; aren’t you afraid of her scamming you?”
Wen Yang’s face flushed slightly as he stammered, “You can’t judge by first impressions… She explained to me that she doesn’t charge.”
“She just forgot because she was in a hurry this morning; it wasn’t intentional.”

Shan Shan tied her long hair up stylishly in the back of her head, her movements graceful and gentle. She raised her arms high, straightening her slender waist to show off her curves to everyone around. She seductively lifted one long leg, slowly securing her ponytail for sports.
She flicked the loose strands of hair back and figured Wen Yang had probably arrived at the court by now.
Then she turned around, flashing a surprised reaction as if she had just noticed Wen Yang…
“Where is he?”
