077. A Lonely Guy Among Lonely Guys
Fortunately, I went to recharge my phone with Wen Yang at noon.
Otherwise, that guy would have finished charging and turned around only to be whisked away by that bad woman!
We even went ahead with my half-baked plan from lunchtime, but the outcome was pretty meh. Wen Yang didn’t seem annoyed at all; in fact, he looked rather pleased… God knows what’s going on in his mind.
In the afternoon, Ning Chu felt a bit wilted. As soon as he sat down in the classroom, he flopped face-first onto the desk, feeling something strange within himself, pretty much confirming that his plot with Shan Shan was coming to an end.
But who knows what changes were in store this time?
Ning Chu thought his appearance was already feminine enough. His looks, figure, and even temperament were no different from a typical girl. He was probably at the stage of a girl around thirteen or fourteen who had just begun to develop. If he continued getting softer… would he evolve from a teenage figure to that of a mature mature girl?
He lowered his head to glance at the slight hill of his chest.
No way? The thought of turning into a big, round dumpling or even a basketball…
His feminization also resulted in his hips accumulating some fat, and while still small, he could already boast a perky backside.
Right now, his figure didn’t present any issues, but who knew what the future held?
Ning Chu imagined himself with a big chest and big backside, a sultry figure, and then recalled that little bug, shuddering involuntarily.
Too scary! I’d rather just become a girl! At least I’d still be a normal person.
But being a girl was hard to accept too~
Just the thought of possibly getting married to some guy in the future, having kids, maybe even two! He felt a wave of darkness wash over his future.
From behind him, he sensed a cold, disapproving gaze. Without turning around, Ning Chu knew it had to be Shan Shan, who had been ditched by Wen Yang at noon.
While his bodily issues remained unresolved, external conflicts were piling up.
“Wen Yang.”
“Hmm?”
Wen Yang, who was seriously paying attention in class, blinked as he looked down at Ning Chu lying on the desk.
Seeing that cute, chubby face squished into a pancake against the table, his mood brightened quite a bit, making the dull class seem livelier.
“Look at the way Shan Shan is glaring at me, like she wants to m*rder me.” Ning Chu scoffed about those bad women, “You can tell right off that she’s petty and jealous, and you still want to chase her…”
Before he could finish, Wen Yang frowned and cut him off: “Don’t talk about people behind their backs…”
“Shan Shan?” Zhang Shaoqing leaned over, “The girl who played basketball with us?”
Wen Yang nodded, but then Zhang Shaoqing excitedly added, “I heard it costs five to six hundred for one session of her class. Pretty pricey!”
“I’ve heard her private coaching sessions are super intense! Big and juicy!”
“???”
“If you’re lucky enough to catch her eye, you might get private classes for free, and the person too!”
Ning Chu looked at Wen Yang’s baffled expression and nearly burst out laughing. He patted Wen Yang on the back like an older brother, proudly proclaiming, “See? I told you she’s a bad woman; my instincts are spot on!”
Zhang Shaoqing had clearly been bewitched by Shan Shan’s lively sports girl persona too, but didn’t expect him to secretly dig up so much dirt.
If only Wen Yang had been that clever, maybe he wouldn’t have fallen into this mess so easily.
“…”
He turned to Zhang Shaoqing to share the gossip: “You have no idea, Wen Yang almost fell for it…”
Wen Yang immediately lost interest in the class and sighed, rubbing his temples. He couldn’t quite grasp why all the girls around him were so bizarre.
The only somewhat normal catgirl he knew wanted to go out overnight just three days after they met, and conveniently was his roommate’s crush.
As for the other girls, either they had ulterior motives or straight-up drugged him.
A chunk of potential girls was blocked off just by Ning Chu.
Freshman year isn’t that packed; this afternoon only had two hours of class.
Class ended a little after four, and Zhang Shaoqing, who had been groggy at noon, was now brimming with energy after a nap, trying to lure Wen Yang into mischief: “You’re free this afternoon, right? Let’s hit the bar for some drinks?”
Before Ning Chu could weigh in, Wen Yang immediately refused: “Forget it, I’m not going.”
After that incident of getting drugged, he developed a serious psychological shadow around drinking outside.
“Buzzkill.” Zhang Shaoqing glanced at Ning Chu, knowing he was Wen Yang’s shadow, then turned to hook his arm around Wang Jie’s shoulder. “Come on, let’s go grab a drink at the bar.”
“That sounds boring.”
“This time we’ll go to a more exciting bar! You might see some unapproved stuff~”
Wang Jie’s eyes lit up. “Let’s go, let’s go!”
With that, the two of them slung their arms around each other and ambled toward the school parking lot.
Ning Chu watched them leave with longing. He wanted to see some unapproved stuff too!
Unfortunately, his body had other plans. Even if he did see anything, he wouldn’t have much of a reaction and would just have to settle for curiosity.
He turned to Wen Yang and smirked, “Let’s go to the dorm, borrow a basketball, and I’ll join you for some practice.”
“Huh?”
“What? You look down on me?”
Ning Chu shot him a glare, making Wen Yang immediately back off: “No, I just didn’t think you wanted to play. Thought you didn’t know how.”
“I played in elementary school!” he defended himself. “Didn’t you say I need to release some energy by playing? Chasing after those bad women is a waste of time compared to playing with me.”
Wen Yang fell silent. Honestly, it sounded better than spending half an hour out and leaving him alone in the dorm.
“By the way, are Shaoqing and Wang Jie coming back at night?”
Ning Chu stepped onto the slightly raised stones of the garden, arms outstretched for balance, wobbling forward.
“Probably not. They might end up drinking too much. Luckily, attendance isn’t strict at night.”
So, it looked like it would just be the two of them in the dorm tonight?
Why did that give him a strange mix of anticipation and tension, like a situation out of a romance drama?
Wen Yang’s gaze swept over Ning Chu’s little backside wrapped up in those shorts, and the delicate white legs that peeked out from his pant legs.
“Do you know anyone with a basketball? Can you borrow one? I don’t really know that many classmates.”
“Just ask the dorm next door.”
“Okay! Let’s play ball until eight, then go back to the dorm to shower and play on the computer~”
Wen Yang suggested, “Why don’t we hit the library together tonight? I haven’t been yet since school started.”
“No way!”
The immediate refusal left him somewhat stunned.
“After eight, I won’t go out if I can help it.” Ning Chu tried to reason, “So after we play, I won’t step outside again.”
“Then I’ll just…”
“No way!”
This time, he couldn’t even be bothered to come up with a reason.
The library was on the top floor of the teaching building.
Letting Wen Yang wander there late at night was practically like sending a virgin to exorcise a female ghost.
Wen Yang scratched his head, perplexed.
When he was dating, or considering a job, wasn’t it always Ning Chu saying that study came first?
Why was it suddenly not okay to go to the library now?
