I Don’t Want to Be Turned into a Girl by Magic – Chapter 110

112. Li Na’s Proposition

The next morning had a big class scheduled, which meant Lin Nan would be seeing Li Na again.

Ever since Li Na discovered that Lin Nan wasn’t Lilith, her interest waned significantly. Previously, she would practically monitor Lin Nan every spare moment, but now she just checked in on Lin Nan’s transformations when the thought crossed her mind.

Upon their next encounter, Li Na noticed that Lin Nan emanated an even stronger scent of magic.

You know, that milky fragrance.

She nonchalantly sat in the row behind Lin Nan with her roommate, observing the changes in him.

It seemed like he had gotten a bit smaller, probably because his bones had started feminizing considerably.

But bone feminization can only be pushed by magic. Even though Lin Nan’s innards were now entirely female, hormones couldn’t change bones that had already developed.

Lin Nan hadn’t yet noticed Li Na entering the classroom through the back door. Yawning, he rested his chin on his hand, waiting for the teacher to call the roll.

He was now quite well-known in class; classmates who had only occasionally glanced at him before were now shocked to find he looked even prettier. The previous gaming competition had thrust him into the spotlight, and he had quickly become a campus celebrity.

Now, when classmates turned to look at him, they realized it was more than just “prettier,” he was among the top beauties of the entire department, sporting an irresistible “first love” face and a mesmerizing aura that made every move alluring.

Unbelievable.

Lin Nan was still blissfully unaware that he had absorbed some of Lilith’s vibes. Meanwhile, he propped his chin in his hand, lost in thought.

“Wanna play some mobile gaming?” With the teacher still not there, Chen Yao couldn’t sit still for more than five minutes, his eyes wide with excitement as he asked.

This guy had claimed he would only play one round of a strategy game yesterday, but when Lin Nan woke up today, he found him still glued to the computer, fighting valiantly. Apparently, if given another day and night, he would’ve finally finished his round.

While Lin Nan was indeed interested in strategy games, seeing Chen Yao looking like he was on the brink of a heart attack made him apprehensive. He thought it might be better to stick to League of Legends, where a match lasted at least half an hour, which was less likely to induce a premature demise.

“Aren’t you gonna get some sleep?” Lin Nan asked, concern etched on his face. “You look terrible.”

“I’m fine! Young and vigorous, a few late nights won’t hurt!” Chen Yao flexed his muscles, puffing up his biceps. “See? Fitness!”

Lin Nan shot a glance at his muscles. While he felt a twinge of envy, he couldn’t help but roll his eyes. “Gross. Muscle guys are the worst.”

“Are you talking about fitness models?” Chen Yao’s mouth twitched as he pondered whether he should start isolating himself even more.

He was being rejected by Lin Nan…

This feeling was new; since they met in middle school, Lin Nan had never shown this kind of disdain. Back when he was flat broke from gaming, Lin Nan had even shared his last fifty bucks with him—he hadn’t been this picky then!

He sighed in despair, glancing at Lin Nan, who was attempting an exaggerated masculine pose with his legs spread wide. “You look pretty androgynous with your legs like that.”

“Really?”

Lin Nan was taken aback and hurriedly spread his legs even wider. “How about now? More masculine?”

“…..”

Chen Yao couldn’t quite grasp Lin Nan’s current train of thought. He suspected Lin Nan might have bumped his head and really gotten confused in the last few days with his parents.

“Just cut your hair, and you’ll look more like a guy.” Chen Yao sighed dramatically.

“Good idea!” Lin Nan’s eyes lit up.

After all, he hadn’t had his hair long for very long. A trim would do, and if he became a girl later, he could always wear a wig. Plus, with magic, Lilith would surely know that transformation spell to change hair length and style. The only question was how stringent the unlocking conditions were.

“You’re not actually considering chopping your hair short, are you?” Chen Yao sighed again, exasperated. “You haven’t actually lost your mind in the last few days, have you?”

“I just want to change…” Lin Nan lowered his voice, fearing others would overhear, leaning forward to continue, “Before I turn into a girl, I definitely need to experience being a man properly once!”

“Fair enough.” Chen Yao understood Lin Nan’s perspective.

However, Tu Junhui somehow overheard the tail end of that statement and immediately leaned in. “What? Experience being a man?!”

“Why don’t I take you to get… you know? There’ve been closures in Baiyun District recently; we could ask a taxi driver about it!”

“…..”

Lin Nan gave him a helpless glance and rolled his eyes.

Now he could control his eye rolls well enough to wait until he looked down to do it. Otherwise, he inexplicably got mistaken for flirting and faced an avalanche of teasing.

Tu Junhui noticed he was being ignored and sulked back into his own little world.

Lin Nan thought that this guy probably wasn’t a virgin, considering how he poorly phrased that suggestion.

Lin Nan found the concept of “that kind of thing” quite absurd initially. However, after frequenting the internet, he discovered that some people regarded it as perfectly normal.

But Tu Junhui’s comment was mostly a joke—thankfully.

As attendance was taken, Lin Nan was gearing up to join Chen Yao and the others for a mobile game when he suddenly felt someone poke his shoulder.

Turning around, he realized Li Na was sitting right behind him.

This surprised him. He had intended to approach Li Na and ask some questions, but he hadn’t yet mustered the courage to waltz over to the girls’ dorm looking like a girl himself.

Not having seen her for a while, Li Na appeared to have settled comfortably into life at school. She no longer exuded that uncomfortable vibe of someone out of place among modern university students.

Li Na leaned over the desk, and for some reason, Lin Nan suddenly heard her voice echo in his mind.

“Been a few days, and you look even prettier~”

Lin Nan turned back, utterly perplexed, gazing at her.

“You used magic again, didn’t you? You’re becoming more and more like Lilith.”

Lin Nan recalled Lilith’s appearance from memory and realized his current look was likely a blend of himself and Lilith’s detailed features.

His eyebrows and facial features might have seemed unchanged, but there were subtle changes that made him resemble Lilith a bit.

“Do I need to use magic a few more times to become a woman?”

Lin Nan mentally asked, and sure enough, Li Na ‘heard’ his question. After a moment’s thought, she replied, “Based on how you look now, probably three to five more times?”

“But by then, Lilith might also resurrect and take over your body…” Li Na pondered for a moment before adding, “Sleep with me for one night, and I’ll help you out.”

Lin Nan’s expression darkened.

Wait, is sleeping together an actual thing in another world?

Without hesitation, he rejected the idea. “No way!”

But upon considering it, wasn’t that a bit of a steal?

He glanced at Li Na, whose eyes seemed to be gleaming with mischief, and shivered, vigorously shaking his head.

“Is there no room for negotiation?”

“No!”
