I Don’t Want to Be Turned into a Girl by Magic – Chapter 348

352. Two Lin Nan’s

==============================

Monday, time to start class again.

Chen Yao had been considering how to drag his poor friend into the scheme of dressing up in girl’s clothes for his 200,000 fans, just like he’d done to Lin Nan before.

But after thinking for ages, he couldn’t find a suitable candidate who looked clear-cut and was easy to talk to, so he decided to just give up and pretend to be dead on Bilibili, as if nothing happened.

However, Lin Nan seemed to have a bizarre mindset shift because they’d been made to dress as a girl in the past. They were all too happy to see others forced into dresses, looking all shamefaced.

Chen Yao backed off, but Lin Nan thought it was a delightful game.

This led to a strange, eerie chill hanging around the classroom, as if an unseen prickly gaze was making everyone uncomfortable.

The junior from before was actually a nice guy, but Chen Yao wouldn’t allow Lin Nan to have anything to do with him anymore; yesterday he even supervised Lin Nan deleting all of the junior’s friends.

Who knew what jealousy this guy was feeling? Even if the junior really had a crush on Lin Nan, what did that have to do with dressing him up?

Lin Nan bit her lip, scanning the classmates one by one, finally setting her sights on Xiong Da.

Though he was a bit of a cutie, he was starting to thin on top, which made her inadvertently forget him previously.

But hair loss wasn’t the main point; after all, she’d just get him a wig.

Examining Xiong Da’s handsome face, Lin Nan found herself more and more satisfied.

Sure, his facial features might still be too masculine, but he was the best option she had for this little experiment.

Meanwhile, Xiong Da was playing a mobile game, and suddenly felt a chill go down his spine. He looked up, bewildered, glancing around until his eyes landed on Lin Nan.

“What’s up?”

“Nothing, just looking,” Lin Nan said, lowering her eyes in guilt.

Chen Yao saw right through her scheme aimed at Xiong Da.

“Xiong Da,” she cheerfully waddled over.

“???”

“I think you’d look great in girl’s clothes!”

Xiong Da stared at Lin Nan in disbelief, thinking, has this person gone completely off the rails?

He gawked for a second before returning to the cold demeanor he usually wore, lowering his head to continue gaming, casually replying, “If you can pull an SSR for me while I’m in girl’s clothes, I might consider it.”

“I’ll do it! I’ll do it!” Lin Nan exclaimed, brimming with excitement.

“Wait until I have money to recharge,” Xiong Da said, expressionless. “Probably next year; I’m saving up for a new computer this year.”

Well, that took the fun right out of it.

Lin Nan realized her persuasion skills were lacking; if it was Li Na or Chen Yao, Xiong Da might have jumped at the chance.

Then Tu Junhui showed up, eager for some fun: “Can I join?”

She look up and down at Tu Junhui’s robust figure and that jovial face full of flesh.

This guy weighed over 200 pounds; he’d probably scare Chen Yao’s fans into hiding on Bilibili.

Around noon, a tall and lanky guy appeared at the university gate.

With his hands stuffed in his pockets, he wore a blank expression as he attempted to waltz into the school.

However, ever since the pandemic, the school had enforced student ID as entry passes, and outsiders were simply not allowed in. He was no exception, forced to stand at the gate, chatting up every student that passed.

“Hey bro, do you know Lin Nan? Here’s a photo of him, he’s the shortest one.”

He pulled out a group photo of four and asked the passersby.

The unfortunate soul caught in his web glanced at the picture, looking puzzled, but the name sounded vaguely familiar.

Wasn’t it the name of that trap mentioned on the forum last semester?

After contemplating the photo for a moment, the passerby shook his head: “Nope, don’t know him.”

“Thanks anyway.”

The lanky guy offered a shy smile and turned to speak with the next person.

At that moment, the early-leaving Lilith and Li Na hurried past, books clutched in their arms. The guy suddenly beamed as he approached: “Sister, do you know Lin Nan?”

“Sister? I’m your dad, okay!” Lilith snapped back, fuming, “What kind of talk is that! I’m over two hundred years older than you; stop calling me sister!”

The guy was left in a fog, staring at this flat-chested girl who seemed to be around 1.7 meters tall.

He questioned the state of her sanity.

“But I do know Lin Nan,” Lilith snatched the photo from him, furrowing her brow thoughtfully before shaking her head: “Not the same, the one I know is a girl.”

When she revived as a cat, Lin Nan had already taken on a very feminine appearance, completely transformed into a girl. To her, it would be impossible to recognize Lin Nan when he used to be a guy; she sneered, “How’s this dude so ugly? The Lin Nan I know is way better looking, plus much more charming.”

“Sorry…”

Li Na, however, seized the photo and pondered for a moment, her eyes suddenly lighting up: “I know him!”

“Hmm?”

“What’s your name? Why are you looking for him?” Li Na handed the photo back, her expression cold.

“Lin Qi, he’s my cousin,” Lin Qi explained briefly, “He had an argument with his dad and ran away from home a year ago; I’m just here to see if he’s around.”

He quickly realized: “Do you know him?”

“Yep.”

“That’s amazing!” Lin Qi was filled with joy.

“He dropped out last year.” Li Na casually stuffed the photo into Lin Qi’s pocket, pulling at Lilith to leave.

Lilith, being tugged along, flashed a grin at Chen Yao, exposing her pearly whites.

“???”

Lin Qi was stunned, confusedly watching them leave.

Wondering what was happening, he hurried ahead to stop them, saying earnestly: “Could you please take me to see that Lin Nan?”

Having been here all morning, he still hadn’t found a single clue. It seemed many had heard of Lin Nan, but upon seeing the photo, everyone just shook their heads in resignation.

This school had quite a few Lin Nans with the same name, and a number of people recognized them.

Suddenly, he speculated wildly.

“They say it’s not the same Lin Nan, just the same name.” Li Na didn’t want to meddle, mainly because there was no benefit in it.

“What do you want?” Lin Qi lowered his head, rummaging through his pockets, finally pulling out some spare change, “How about this, help me find the person in this photo, and I’ll give you… three hundred? He dropped out last year; you must be his classmate, right? Do you have his contact info?”

Li Na chuckled and shook her head: “I’m not Lin Nan, and you don’t even have his contact info; why would I?”

“Exactly,” Lilith chimed in, “How about this? You find him, and I’ll see you in girl’s clothes?”

“???”

Of course, this tall, flat-chested girl must have some screws loose!

For some reason, Lin Qi felt that the Lin Nan the short girl was talking about sounded quite similar to the cousin he knew.

At least they both shared an equal love for money.
