357. Outrageous Persecution

Chen Yao looked up, bewildered by the scrutiny from everyone. “Why would I wear girl’s clothes? I already have a girlfriend; I can’t do that!”
“Besides, I probably wouldn’t look good anyway, not interested,” Lilith casually shoved some unwashed cherries from the coffee table into her mouth.
Li Na stood in front of Lin Qi, tilting her head to scrutinize his face, occasionally adding a dab of makeup here and there. Clearly, she had no interest in Chen Yao’s potential cross-dressing either.
At this point, Lin Qi’s blemishes had been smoothed out with makeup. The thick black tights concealed his leg hair, and the long hair partially covered his cheeks. At first glance, he could definitely pass for a hot girl, just not an exceptionally pretty one.
And no chest, the maid outfit didn’t quite fill out properly either.
Lin Qi’s arms peeked out of the sleeves, covered in a dense layer of hair, while Lin Nan had completely ditched any hair removal creams during the early stages of her transformation.
“Is this good enough?” Li Na, unsure of how further to refine Lin Qi’s appearance, straightened up, satisfied with their progress. “At least he has some semblance of a girl’s look now!”
Compared to the eye-watering sight at the beginning, Lin Qi was now somewhat visually acceptable, though with all the added factors, it still screamed “trying too hard.”
Li Na felt a swell of pride. Lin Qi’s transformation was her achievement, a feeling akin to saving the world!
Lilith, having polished off all the cherries at Lin Nan’s house, finally turned her attention to Lin Qi and proposed, “Let’s head out!”
“Out? No way!” Lin Qi adamantly shook his head in refusal.
Lin Nan nodded in agreement. “Going out would definitely give us away; let’s skip that!”
Lin Qi shot her a glance. It was his cousin who initially suggested the idea of going out in girl’s clothes!
He hopped off his little stool and walked over to the living room mirror.

“Yeah, yeah! Just one game!” Chen Yao pressed him down at the computer, “Look! The game is all set up! You can choose your hero!”

Lin Qi stared blankly at the computer. As the hero selection timer ticked down, he hurriedly clicked on a random character.
“Why did I suddenly have to play a game? I just wanted to talk with you about my cousin…”
“It’s starting, it’s starting!” Chen Yao reminded him impatiently.
Lin Nan sat on the couch, witnessing a flashback of her own past—hiding in Chen Yao’s room, having fun for the first time as a girl in a maid costume playing games.
Back then, she had only just acquired magic, still an innocent boy.
“Li Na, lend me some magic, I want to turn him into a real girl; that would definitely look better!” Lin Nan turned her head but saw Lilith whispering with Li Na.
“No way!” Li Na firmly denied her proposal. “Isn’t it enough that you turned Lin Qi into a girl?”
“If possible, I want to turn all of Lin Nan’s friends into girls!” Lilith grinned maniacally.
Lin Nan gasped. If Lilith really attempted that, things would go wildly out of control.
Hurriedly, she grabbed a textbook off the coffee table and appeared like a ghost behind the two. She then slammed the hefty textbook on the back of Lilith’s head.
Lilith didn’t make a sound and simply turned with a blank expression back at Lin Nan, who was grinning widely. She rolled her eyes and slumped to the floor.
What are you looking at?! I just saved countless little brothers from a terrible fate!
Not satisfied, Lin Nan kicked her twice. Upon confirming Lilith was completely out of commission, she sighed in relief and turned to Li Na with a grin, “Why not take a couple of pictures of Lin Qi while we’re at it?”
Li Na found Lin Nan a bit terrifying at times.
“Forget it… What if it goes viral and there are guys in maid outfits everywhere?” Li Na imagined that scenario, shivering and shaking her head vigorously. “That’s way too spicy.”
“Might actually be decent for a meal though…”
In just over ten minutes, Lin Qi’s game ended.
Dressed as a maid and feeling frazzled, Lin Qi couldn’t concentrate on the game, finishing with a miserable 0-16 score before storming away from the computer.
Turning around, he saw Lilith sprawled on the floor, foaming at the mouth, while Li Na and his cousin stood talking and laughing like it was a m*rder scene.
“Can I change back to boys’ clothes now?”
“No way!” Lin Nan and Li Na both promptly denied him.
“But I’m hungry.”
It was already two in the afternoon, and he hadn’t had lunch amidst all this chaos.
