**468. Shall We Get Married?**

“I’m pretty busy lately, let’s skip it.” Chen Yao shook his head in refusal.
He wasn’t really making excuses; he was trying to catch up on his studies that he had neglected, so these days he was mainly just squeezing in some game time at night and studying the rest of the time.
After turning Li Na down, a hint of concern for Lin Nan crossed his mind as he continued, “Aren’t you preparing for your graduate exams? You can start getting ready in your sophomore year’s second semester. Running around for part-time jobs isn’t the best idea, right?”
Lin Nan nodded rapidly, “Li Na, it’s not that I’m unwilling to go; it’s that he won’t let me.”
After all, there was no paycheck involved.
She had been duped that day; over the last couple of days, Lin Nan had figured it out—Li Na was simply hoping to get free labor. The whole future talk was just her drawing a pie in the sky.
Li Na shot her a glare, “No way! You promised me!”
“Clearly, Lilith can help you too…” Lin Nan’s face turned sour.
“Lilith isn’t suitable.” Li Na turned to the Lilith sitting next to her, scooting closer in an attempt.
But Lilith didn’t bother to give her any face and immediately scooted her rear further away.
Before her sat what could only be described as breakfast for five, and she was power-eating through it like a vacuum. While others were taking a second to chew, she could gulp it down in seconds as if she didn’t even need to chew, completely unaware of the astonished stares from students passing by.
“You don’t love me anymore~” Seeing this, Li Na instantly put on a pitiful expression.
“Never loved you, scram!” Lilith disdainfully raised her hand to push Li Na’s face away.
Watching the two of them play around, Lin Nan realized that their relationship was surprisingly better than she had initially thought.
At first, she assumed Lilith was just enduring Li Na’s oppressive charm, but now it seemed they were more like frenemies.
After munching for over ten minutes, the three of them had already finished and cleaned the table, but Lilith was still furiously devouring her food.
“It’s almost class time.” Lin Nan glanced at the clock and scanned the cafeteria, noticing an increasing number of students, feeling a bit impatient. “Chen Yao and I are heading to class first.”
Lilith nodded her head and began wrapping up her remaining breakfast to take it to class.
By the time she packed her food, Lin Nan and Chen Yao had already taken off. They weren’t even in the same classroom today, so there was no point in waiting for her.
“Let’s go too.”
Li Na and Lilith left the cafeteria, each lost in their own thoughts.
Li Na wore a smile, stealing glances at Lilith’s profile with a feeling of satisfaction, while Lilith, a bit anxious, continued munching on her buns, contemplating how she could finally escape Li Na’s clutches.
“You’ve been getting pretty close with Wang Rui lately.”

“If you want trouble, go bother Wang Rui! It has nothing to do with me!” Without hesitation, Lilith threw the guy she was flirting with yesterday under the bus, “He was the one hitting on me!”
God knew how Li Na caught on this quickly; this girl must be using some kind of tracking spell on me! How untrusting!
“Really?”
“Yeah, yeah, really! I’m totally loyal to you! Never even thought of betraying you!” After staying too long on Earth, Lilith even learned how to blabber nonsense from Lin Nan’s earlier conversations.
Li Na looked at Lilith with a smirk, “Then you should pledge your loyalty, right?”
“Pledge loyalty…”
What, do you want me to get down on one knee right now and complete a knightly oath?
“How about we get married?” Li Na suggested excitedly, her face flushed.
“Huh?”
Lilith was stunned, staring down at the petite, slightly over 1.6-meter-tall saintess.
For some reason, her heart began racing, her skin flushed red, and palms sweaty.
She got so frightened she took several steps back, bumping into a passing student without even noticing, staring wide-eyed at Li Na’s increasingly excited face.
