“I’m telling you! If you don’t put it on, you’re not coming out!”
Outside the door, Li Ya was smugly leaning against it.
Right now, Lin Nan must be feeling super awkward.
Letting her say my belly looks like I’m pregnant.
Li Ya glanced down at her own abdomen and quickly sucked it in.
Though it was a fact, it was still not something that sounded pleasant.
Inside the changing room, Lin Nan was quite troubled at the moment.
Wearing this outfit would inevitably expose her perky chest. Dressing as a girl was one thing; having b*obs was another.
There’s no way she could tell Li Ya that she carries around a little “helper” all the time, right?
And not wearing a bra while in this female outfit was guaranteed to show some… With male customers outside, and quite a few at that, going out like this in a dress would probably make her look like a seductive harlot.
She was no longer the little boy just starting to develop into a girl in the dorm anymore. Back then, showing a bit of skin just made her feel embarrassed, and she could come up with excuses like “I gained weight” or “the air conditioning is too cold,” and even then, showing a bit didn’t feel that shameful… After all, there were plenty of guys who were also a bit chubby.
Now, her thinking was all feminine, and she simply couldn’t accept the idea of not wearing underwear while dressed as a girl.
That would go beyond shame and embarrassment; it would almost be like “master’s role play”…
She covered her face with her hands, her face bright red.
She tried to push the changing room door open again, but it didn’t budge. Li Ya was using her weight to block the door tightly, and Lin Nan couldn’t budge it at all.
Which designer thought it was a good idea to have doors that open outward in a changing room?
With no other choice, she leaned against the wall and realized that she might need to use magic to turn back into a guy.
But somehow, that felt hard to accept.
After weighing the options of either going out in a dress as a woman (sans bra) or changing back into a man, Lin Nan figured the latter was just easier for her to accept.
So, with a reluctant sigh, she transformed back into a dude.
An uncomfortable feeling settled deep within, making her feel all sorts of bad.
If other women could sporadically turn into guys, they’d probably find it intriguing, but Lin Nan was different.
Her appearance hadn’t changed at all; she just flattened her chest, which now made a “poof” sound when she slapped it. And on the bottom, it felt rather constricted.
She hurriedly changed back into women’s clothing, hoping to resolve this situation quickly.
“I’m all set.”
“Eh? You actually put it on?” Li Ya opened the door, peeked inside, and then froze in place, “This… this…”
After ditching the bulky ill-fitting menswear, Lin Nan in her dress actually stunned Li Ya.
Slim and tall, her long legs in the short dress were exceptionally straight, not skinny like a stick but with just the right amount of flesh—neither looking fat nor too thin. The dress accentuated her tiny waist, which seemed to be able to be grasped with just a hand, all while Lin Nan nervously twisted and turned—a sultry water snake.
Her long hair was still tucked under a hat, but even so, Li Ya thought most women in the world would pale in comparison to Lin Nan.
“Is this okay?” Lin Nan asked, standing in the changing room with a blank expression. “Can I change back now?”
“Are you really a guy?” Li Ya’s mouth gaped open, staring at the dramatically transformed Lin Nan.
Lin Nan’s mood was pretty sour at that point, and without hesitation, she shot back, “Why don’t you try it out?”
By the way, what’s it like to be a girl? I feel like I’ve never tried that before.
Suddenly, a wild thought ran through her mind.
“Way, way prettier than in the videos…” Li Ya was stuttering, glancing at Lin Nan’s now flat chest, “Too bad there’s no bust.”
Just wait until I change back to a girl—I’ll outdo you!
Lin Nan cursed in her heart, turned her head away, not wanting to deal with Li Ya.
“Aren’t you coming out to check out the mirror?”
But Lin Nan stood like a tree tree-rooted in place in the changing room, showing no intention of leaving.
“Let’s just go with this. Close the door.”
Li Ya, a bit disappointed, finally closed the door.
After a moment, the stunning beauty was back in her ill-fitting outer coat and military-green shorts, creating an extremely noticeable contrast that was hard to accept.
“You were born to wear women’s clothes…” Li Ya lamented, “I’m starting to doubt if you’re really a guy.”
If it weren’t for having seen Lin Nan walk into the boys’ bathroom multiple times during high school, Li Ya might have seriously questioned her gender.
Even if she had plastic surgery, she couldn’t possibly be this pretty, right? Otherwise, there’d be beauties like this all over the street!
Lin Nan was still looking pretty grim, pouting and avoiding eye contact with her.
Seeing Lin Nan’s mood, Li Ya awkwardly grinned and said, “I was just joking… How about I take you out for barbecue to make it up to you?”
Just as she was about to decline, Lin Nan felt her phone vibrate.
She picked it up and answered Chen Yao’s call. After chatting for a bit, she looked up at Li Ya and said, “Forget it. Chen Yao wants me to go back and pack; I need to catch a train.”
“Um… I really was just joking.” Li Ya had assumed since Lin Nan dressed like a girl all the time, wearing a dress to show her should be no big deal.
But seeing Lin Nan’s expression, it didn’t seem like it was as easy as she thought.
“It’s fine, I’m not mad.” Lin Nan lifted her head and gave Li Ya a gentle smile.
“Well, how about I come to your school to hang out sometime?”
The smile on Lin Nan’s face instantly vanished, and she quickly shook her head, “I’m super busy at school, I have a part-time job on the weekend and night classes; I have no time.”
“Well, fair enough, summer vacation is coming up soon anyway.”
Don’t come looking for me during summer vacation either!
What’s going on here!
She’d thought that by just acting a bit girly, Li Ya would be scared off. Instead, she had to admit that her cross-dressing was making her relationship with Chen Yao look like a couple, and now Li Ya was even more interested in her.
Am I being groomed towards being her bestie?
Or does she just want me for my body?
Looks like going out this time was a huge mistake; she couldn’t handle creatures like girls at all.
After paying for the clothes with Li Ya, Lin Nan stepped out of the clothing store and glanced at the motorcycle in the distance. Without looking back, she said, “I’m heading back now.”
“Okay, be safe on the road.”
“You’ll have to tell the motorcycle driver that.”
Lin Nan took off like she was escaping, jogging toward the motorcycle.
If she stayed with Li Ya any longer, she’d surely break through her shame barrier once again.
It hadn’t even been an hour, and she was already so exhausted she wanted to crash and hide from her shameful inner thoughts.
After getting on the bike, she looked back one last time at Li Ya who was still waving goodbye and let out a long sigh of relief, feeling her body and mind lightening up.
Time to head back to school.
From now on, no more meetings with so-called old classmates and friends! They’re all troublemakers! Just treat it like I’m done with them!
They never wanted to hang out with me before when I was a guy. Now that I’m a girl, they’re all showing up—surely they’re here for some gossip!
Cursing in her heart, Lin Nan looked up at the gray sky, realizing that this small county was probably about to rain again.
