### Chapter 113: Elia Joins the Fun
He wasn’t discouraged.
After taking another look, out of the thirty items he pulled, five were four-star—this was slightly below average luck.
Checking the four-star attributes one by one: one was decent, another was a slight upgrade, one could be situational, and the other two were trash.
As for the three-star items? No need to even glance, just toss those two garbage four-stars into the guild warehouse!
Sure, they were trash, but they could still be used as rewards for other members.
That’s the perk of being in a big guild: efficient resource utilization.
Others looked at the fiery conflict across the sky, thinking he had wasted money on a bunch of useless stuff. But he knew better; it was a slight win, actually.
First off, all these pieces were at least blue gear—not too shabby! Perfect to give to those non-core laborers in the guild.
If he had to collect so much gear himself? Not to mention the money, the time investment would be massive!
How could he and his core members have time to do such labor-intensive tasks?
Rich people always care about two things: first, how useful it is; second, how hassle-free it is. Price comes in third!
Not to mention, he still had a chance to pull some purple gear here!
Okay, he hadn’t gotten any purple gear yet, but he noted something: the rules limited each roll to a maximum of thirty pulls, but didn’t cap how many times you could roll!
With a hundred accounts in one round, he could come back for the next!
The best part? This round’s thirty pulls gained him 50 points of favorability with the little girl! He got 1 point for three-star pulls and 5 points for four-star pulls.
Fifty whole points!
Just for spending some gold coins—this was pure bargain! Total welfare gold!
And it really was a bargain. Xu Xiaofeng knew this and was doing it on purpose.
Because if you all build your favorability so slowly, when will my favorability shop open?
No favorability shop means no extra income!
The card pulls kept rolling; a line of eight top-tier rich players contributed 240 pulls, but none scored a purple item.
Just when everyone was starting to doubt whether the probabilities had gone haywire, a purple light finally appeared! And it was a single pull!
“Whoa!”
“I told you, single pulls are the way! The ten-pull is such a loser!”
“Oh my gosh, this is going to make me sick! There’s definitely some rich guy who’ll buy this; it must be worth a few thousand gold coins!”
“A few thousand? You’re underestimating the rich! Last time, a piece from the nuclear bomb little sister in the beginner village went for over 160,000!”
The lucky draw winner was a female player with the ID: Baby Not Baby.
She stared at the purple light, dazed by the notification sound, unable to process what just happened for a while.
“Big sister, big sister, congratulations!”
“I… really won?”
“Absolutely!”
“Then… does that mean I can…?” She leaned closer to Xu Xiaofeng, her hands fidgeting with excitement.
Uh… this is what she thought of first?
“Of course!”
Xu Xiaofeng opened his arms dramatically.
Then in the next second, it was lift-off time!
Xu Xiaofeng’s feet left the ground as he spun around.
One spin, two spins, three spins, four spins.
Xu Xiaoyue watched this spectacle unfold with tears in her eyes, munching on lemons.
I got here first…
The other live audience members were also happily munching lemons while snickering at her sour expression.
Let’s face it: if you’re not laughing at this, you must be a total legend.
“I’m dizzy! So dizzy!”
After his exclamation, Baby Not Baby finally landed, giving Xu Xiaofeng one last tight hug before he let her go.
“Wow, my life is complete.”
As a seasoned uranium chef, this was her goal all along.
Now her dream was fulfilled, and she was satisfied, time to leave and pass the torch to the next aspiring dreamer.
“Wait, big sister, your gear!”
“It’s yours now.”
“Wait! Miss! Sell it to me! I’ll pay you 50,000 gold coins!”
Someone immediately made an offer, even though the gear hadn’t been taken out of the box yet.
Right now, all players had seen was the purple light; the gear was still sitting snugly in the box—nobody even knew which piece it was, let alone its stats.
Seeing Baby Not Baby about to squeeze into the crowd, Xu Xiaofeng quickly called over the guild’s traders, urging them to catch up and at least get a price on the purple item for her.
After some thought, Baby Not Baby accepted 20,000 gold coins.
Then she instantly donated all of it to Xu Xiaoyue’s livestream.
Finally, she exited with flair, leaving the crowd utterly confused.
What the heck?!
But Baby Not Baby had her own reasoning.
First off, she definitely didn’t dare to take the gear. Who knows what random guy, out of nowhere, might pop up and try to snatch it before she could leave the square?
Even in a public place like this, within a no-fight zone, that’s just the allure of a purple item.
As for holding onto money? A weak girl with too much cash, that’s just a tad less appealing than the purple gear.
Therefore, she needed to spend all of it in full view—better safe than sorry!
After all, her family was pretty wealthy, and she was just playing for fun.
Now that she’s hugged a big sister and scored some favorability points, she was honestly at peak happiness.
Fiery Conflict Across the Sky observed her antics and nodded to himself, then spoke to his subordinates, “This one’s sharp and has potential. Let’s see if we can pull her into our guild; she could even get a little leadership position.”
And of course, there were two more perks: she’s a girl and looks pretty good too. These traits are always handy in any guild and could even serve as the face of the team.

But that line wasn’t meant for him. It should be something his subordinates figure out themselves.
On the other side, Xu Xiaofeng had people collect the purple gear and continued hosting the card pulls while sending the guild traders out for restocks.
At this rate, 5,000 items would be gone in no time!
Meanwhile, in a palace garden in the royal city…
Elia leisurely sipped tea while listening to Amelia’s report.
“Oh? Xu Xiaofeng is causing quite a stir again?”
“Not exactly a big deal, but she has indeed mobilized most of the Outsider adventurers.”
“Hehe, is it called card pulling? Seems to be quite alluring to those Outsiders.”
“She seems to understand them well; I’m a bit worried about these many Outsiders causing trouble. Maybe I should find time to ask her about it.”
Elia was the highest manager of the Adventurers’ Guild, overseeing any major adventurer affairs.
After a period of observation, she found these suddenly emerging Outsiders to be rather peculiar.
They were laid-back, casual, and unrestrained, yet curiously adhered to certain rules.
Their organization was chaotic and scattered, appearing to be divided into many factions; different members of the same guild could belong to different camps but would unexpectedly collaborate over specific issues.
Some among them were fabulously wealthy, while others were comically poor, yet both could communicate very equally without any barriers.
They were truly a bizarre mix of contradictions and unity.
“Let’s go change our clothes. I haven’t seen Xu Xiaofeng in a while; it’ll be nice to check in on her and experience her new gameplay.”
With that, Elia stood up and headed into the palace.
