### Chapter 15: My Little Sister Has Locked Onto Me
After a bit, Xu Xiaofeng headed home to log off.
Before logging out, she checked the level leaderboard.
First place was Fiery Conflict Across the Sky, level 6. There were a few other level 6 players trailing behind.
Meanwhile, Xu Xiaofeng was still level 5, and her ranking had plummeted to forty-three.
But it was fine. She would still gain experience points after logging out. Tomorrow when she logged back in, she was definitely going to be level 6, and her rank would sh**t up!
Logging off, consciousness returned, and Xu Xiaofeng sat up on her bed. The clock read just before two.
She stretched, feeling physically fine but a bit mentally drained.
That feeling was a bit like running out of MP in the game, making it hard for Xu Xiaofeng to distinguish whether she was still in the game or back in reality.
Heading to the bathroom, she splashed some water on her face to shake off that feeling.

“Tomorrow, I’ll drag my little sister out for a day of fun to relax a bit.”

As soon as she entered, she found herself back in bed and quickly snuggled under her covers to message her sister: “Hey sis, ready for a late-night snack? I’m treating!”
After a moment, her sister replied: “What are we eating? Did you level up? Finished your quests?”
“Seriously, sis, have you caught a fever? What’s with the dedication to gaming today?”
Xu Xiaofeng looked to see her sister’s level. Oh boy, level 5—she was already in the second-tier player ranks!
Such progress compared to yesterday’s laziness was remarkable. Of course, a big part of that was thanks to Xu Xiaofeng’s solid strategies and many experience quests.
“Because I suddenly felt like you were right, I used to be too laid-back.”

“I need to level up to 10 to meet you in the main city.”

Xu Xiaofeng thought about her distant relatives and realized she had no known cousins.
“This sister.”

But then she thought, it’s probably just an old habit resurfacing.

“You little brat! So you were pretending with me today! You really can’t change that stubborn nature of yours, and you act so quickly too.”
Xu Xiaofeng was stunned by his little sister’s audacity.
How is she even bold enough to say that?! Who’s the one who can’t change? This is ridiculous!
But he couldn’t voice that. The character had been established; no room for collapse!
For the sake of his little sister’s future, Xu Xiaofeng was truly worried sick.
“If you want any scoop on that NPC, stop blabbering with me.”
“Got it! Big brother is mighty!”
“By the way, sis, don’t you have any cute NPCs in Beginner’s Village?”

Xu Xiaofeng thought for a bit before responding, “In reality, she’s at least ten times cuter than in the picture; she’s definitely a little angel.”

Cheer for who? That’s me! Xu Xiaofeng silently cursed.
“Alright, I’m off. Late-night snack time! We’ll play again tomorrow.”
With that, Xu Xiaofeng logged off.
Not long after, sounds came from Xu Xiaoyue’s room.
“Hey bro, seriously, your luck must be from several lifetimes of good karma. I’m so jealous!”
“Let’s go eat; you can be jealous after!”
Xu Xiaofeng walked out first but turned back to see his sister looking a bit down.
“You don’t look too great?”
“I’ve been gaming for such a long time. It’s normal, right?”
“But I feel perfectly fine! I’ve played longer than you today!”
“You’re a hardcore gamer; you could play for 24 hours straight without an issue.”
Xu Xiaofeng completely disagreed. Back when he was gaming on his computer, he needed breaks after long sessions.
But this game was different.
“Hey sis, let me ask you something. When you’re in the game, do you feel like you’re playing a game?”
Xu Xiaoyue looked at Xu Xiaofeng with a strange expression. “What else would it be?”
“Maybe I’m just weird. Forget what I just asked; it’s late-night snack time.”
Xu Xiaofeng shook his head and continued outside.
“Bro, can I tell my friends the news you shared? They really like the golden-haired little sister too.”
Even though they often bickered, when it came to gaming matters, she took her big brother seriously—after all, he was really skilled at it.
