Chapter 151: God-Slaying Slash
Who knows if Sogriede understood what was happening or not.
One thing’s for sure—he was getting even more agitated. Magic? Accuracy? Nah! He just blasted it all over the place like he was fighting a giant pinata!
Yuliya had one thought on her mind: “The dog’s gone mad.”
Mad dogs might scare you with their biting barks, but in reality, they do zero damage.
After all, no matter how fast he ran, he still had a one-way ticket to explosion town!
What? Someone suggested Sogriede take a detour to avoid getting blasted?

And even if he did take a turn, Yuliya would just veer off too.

So, Sogriede was like a rollercoaster on a bumpy ride, launching his own brand of black fireworks while following Yuliya’s lead at a leisurely pace.
Meanwhile, Yuliya was planning her route and controlling the rhythm.
Suddenly, she sensed a few spatial fluctuations in front of her.
This was the heart of Black Raven City, the Boss zone—no small fries allowed!
Yuliya immediately activated her Golden Eyes.
Thanks to Sogriede sucking up most of the black mist in the city during his third phase, her vision was back online.
That’s how she could lead Sogriede around so easily.
Her gaze swept over, and bingo! Four panels popped up.
Holy moly! Players!
From the name format, they didn’t seem to be from the Huaxia Server.
Why leave the outer city where it’s all nice and safe to come in here? Are they asking for trouble?
But in a flash, Yuliya figured it out: if she felt something was off, she’d be curious too!
But curiosity has its consequences, and boy, could they be severe!
Shaking her head, she quickly hid within the buildings.
Sogriede zoomed past like a runaway train, careless as ever.
Yuliya couldn’t stop him; all she could do was hope the bombs would slow him down—though he was still going pretty fast afterward.
Besides, why would she stop him? Not her problem!
“Oh my gosh! It’s a BOSS! A BIG BOSS!”
“It’s coming! Dodge! Quick, dodge!”
Sogriede, for a while, couldn’t even spot that troublesome creature. Instead, he saw several similar monsters.
Who knows if he could distinguish between targets, but he tossed out a Devour Magic anyway.
Then he charged in like a bull.
In an instant, the ground, houses, and shadows of players disappeared, crushed in the wake of his rampage.
Yuliya peeked from a distance, shaking her head and sighing. “What a tragedy. They were fine outside; why come here to get themselves blown up?”
Then, she detonated a bomb.
Sogriede noticed the explosion behind him and decided, “Oh, let’s make a circle!”
Sure enough, he locked onto that pesky BOSS and charged again.
Yuliya glanced at the map, adjusted her direction, and began to head back.
Yuliya and Sogriede raced back, but what none of them expected was that amidst the wreckage caused by Sogriede’s magical chaos, a female player was slowly getting back up.
She barely had a sliver of health left and reached into her bag for a potion.
After what felt like an eternity, she finally grasped that she was still alive, confirming the terrifying facts.
“That was too scary! What kind of monster was that? It wiped out our entire party without breaking a sweat!”
She checked her equipment; one earring was already damaged.
If she hadn’t activated its effect at the last second, creating a shield, she would have been toast!
“Wait, the scarier thing is…someone seems to be fighting it!”
She quickly glanced at the player’s live score leaderboard, then honed in on the one that stood out: Wind—.
The only one with a five-digit score, while second place had just barely crossed the four-digit mark.
“Huaxia Server, Wind…”
She glanced in the direction where the BOSS had fled. Gritting her teeth, she decided to head that way.
There’s an old saying in Huaxia: “If you wake up hearing the Way, you can d*e peacefully by evening.”
Today, she HAD to find out who this godly figure was!
So, Yuliya continued leading Sogriede in circles, this time she was even faster on the way back than on the way in!
Sogriede was accelerating better, going even quicker.
But quicker speeds? Yeah, you guessed it—that means greater damage when you get blown up!
Like speed bumps: cruise over them slowly, and you just bounce a bit; speed past, and your whole car lifts off!
She was running and glancing back, watching Sogriede’s ups and downs.
This was no worm; it was a freakin’ toad!
The only concern was that this toad liked to spit some poisonous goo.
Without cover, Sogriede’s magic could lock onto Yuliya’s position much more easily.
But Yuliya wasn’t fazed. Ever since meeting Sogriede, she had never taken damage from his magic.
Not before, and not now!
Soon, she spotted a vast area of desolate land ahead and turned serious, putting her playful side away.
It was time to prepare for the final act.
Facing off directly, Sogriede was charging forward at full speed.
Yuliya raised her hand and unleashed another pinpoint magic blast aimed right for his head.
With no explosions to distract him, Sogriede hit maximum speed, oblivious to the fact that his head was being blasted open, his massive body crashing forward like a runaway freight train.
Yuliya blinked away from his path.
But just then, a massive black orb flew toward her.
Yuliya pressed her palms together, then spread them apart, raising them with poise.
To her surprise, a transparent white ball formed, mirroring her movement as she sent it flying toward the black orb.
The tiny transparent ball, although small, contained explosive power that detonated upon impact with the black orb, creating a colossal black vortex.
That move was on point.
But another attack was already on its way.
Sogriede barreled through the black vortex, ignoring the damage as he charged with the resolve to turn his foe to dust.
Yuliya, however, locked eyes with his murky gaze, and a calm, elegant smile appeared on her lips.
“You really don’t learn, do you? How many times is this now? Try to remember in your next life!”
Yuliya glanced behind her; that was a massive pit.
If this were an hour ago, it would have been a church.
She’d been leading Sogriede around in circles just to wear down the remnants of his sanity.
“Goodbye.”
As soon as the words left her lips, Yuliya vanished in a flash.
The next moment, an explosion as thunderous as a thousand storms erupted,
the earth shook, and the heavens resounded, bathing the world in blinding white light.
The force of the shockwave shattered the ground, crumbled nearby structures, and sent clouds of debris soaring into the sky, forming a mushroom cloud.
A half-human, half-bug creature was also sent flying high.
This? This was the full power of the bomb Yuliya had initially prepared—the Abyssal Worm only managed to munch off a tiny fraction!
She never underestimated a BOSS.
As she watched Sogriede ascend with barely a sliver of health left, Yuliya suddenly raised her right hand.
“Just right, I was just thinking of a technique to test on you. Since you keep shouting about becoming divine, I shall name this move ‘God-Slaying Slash.'”
As Yuliya raised her hand, a white glow surged around it, floating up and gathering in mid-air into an enormous, semi-transparent sword-like weapon.
The sword seemed to shimmer with intricate designs, releasing a soft, melodic hum.
“Slash!”
With her words echoing, Yuliya swung down her right hand, and the massive sword followed suit.
In that instant, time seemed to freeze, and the chaos from the explosion quieted.
Sogriede, who had been struggling in the distance, suddenly froze, his body going rigid as every muscle refused to budge.
His mouth opened slightly, still seemingly trying to yell something out.
Then, cracks appeared all over his body, rapidly spreading and soon covering him entirely.
The next instant, with a ‘pop’ like shattering glass, his body disintegrated into shards, melting away into the space around him.
