**Chapter 195: Family**
Xu Xiaoyue stared in shock at Xu Xiaofeng’s profile.
The more she looked, the more familiar it seemed.
If only she could change that currently damp and disheveled hairstyle…
Holy moly! It really is!
Sweet mother of all things sugary!
Before she could finish her astonishment, a chorus of sobs interrupted her, snapping her back to reality.
“Sniff! I might as well d*e! I can’t face anyone! Sniff sniff!”
“Hey, hey, hey! Calm down! How could you not face anyone with such a cute and beautiful face?”
“Wah! You’re just making fun of me!”
“No, I’m not! I promise! Every word is sincere! You know how many people love Nuclear Bomb Little Sister? When you show up, they’ll be over the moon! All of them will go wild for you!”
Oh wait a minute… right now, there seem to be just as many people loving the Wind God! Even if her true identity didn’t get exposed, she’d still be popular!
d*mn those little loli fans!
For some reason, as things progressed, Xu Xiaoyue felt a twinge of excitement.
No, no—this is my brother!
She continued to console her, and gradually, Xu Xiaofeng’s emotions stabilized.
But she was still holding onto Xu Xiaoyue.
“Brother, are you okay? Should we go to the hospital tomorrow for a check-up?”
“I’m not sure either; I do have a break tomorrow. Maybe we should check it out.”
They definitely needed to go to the hospital. This situation was too weird; a visit would set their minds at ease.
“Let’s call it a night. I’m a bit tired; I want to sleep.”
It was already past nine in the evening, and the event originally scheduled to end in two days was wrapping up nearly ten hours early.
“Alright. So… should we sleep together? It’s been ages since we did that! Like a decade or something!”
Xu Xiaoyue’s eyes sparkled like she was gazing at stars.
But Xu Xiaofeng ruthlessly crushed that thought: “No way! We’re both adults now! And… just no!”
Adults… Xu Xiaoyue’s eyes rapidly swept over Xu Xiaofeng.
“Hey, hey! Do you have a problem with what I said?”
“No, no, absolutely not!”
“Alright, I’m going to sleep now. Goodnight.”
Xu Xiaofeng broke free from Xu Xiaoyue’s embrace and headed straight to her room.
“Mhm, goodnight, sweet dreams.”
After entering her room, Xu Xiaofeng quickly fell asleep.
She was utterly exhausted.
After intense battles in the game instance for too long, she emerged to a series of shocks—her body and mind were close to their limit.
But after sleeping for a while, she suddenly opened her eyes to see a sneaky shadow in the darkness.
That vigilance had become second nature.
And who else could that shadow be but Xu Xiaoyue?
Ah, whatever. We’re family; let her be.
But unexpectedly, Xu Xiaoyue whispered from the shadows, “Looks like your emotions are stable. Sleep tight; I’m here, always.”
Xu Xiaofeng choked.
Her emotions began to waver as warmth ignited within her.
Truly, they were family.
She felt a weight on the edge of her bed, a hand resting on her.
But she didn’t resist; soon, she fell back to sleep.
That sleep was particularly sweet.
The next morning, when Xu Xiaofeng woke up, she realized the other presence was gone, leaving her with a pang of loss.
She got out of bed, slipped on her slippers, and walked out of her room to find Xu Xiaoyue approaching.
“Awake? Wait, don’t go out just yet. Change into this first, then wash up and eat.”
Xu Xiaoyue handed her a few items of clothing, all small-sized women’s attire.
“I ordered these from the department store last night. I washed and dried them this morning. They’re pretty plain, so just make do with them for now. After the check-up, we can go shopping. We don’t have anything suitable for you at home.”
“I… uh.”
“Thanks, Little Moon.”
With that, she pulled Xu Xiaoyue in and planted a peck on her cheek before dashing back to change.
Xu Xiaoyue was momentarily stunned, then erupted into giggles.
“Good, you accepted it so quickly, I’m relieved. You really do look like Nuclear Bomb Little Sister…”
“Does this mean I’ve really brought Nuclear Bomb Little Sister home with me?”
She chuckled at herself for being silly.
“This feeling is completely different from what I expected. Brother turned into sister… and the whole little sister thing.”
After Xu Xiaofeng changed into her clothes and sneakers, and enjoyed the breakfast lovingly prepared by her sister, the two headed to the best hospital in Magic City for a thorough check-up for Xu Xiaofeng.
But trouble struck not long after they entered.
How to fill out the form?
Xu Xiaofeng, gender: male?
“Forget it. Just use mine; it’s the same.” Xu Xiaoyue pulled out her ID card.
“Remember to insist you’re nineteen.”
“I *am* nineteen!”
After going through the motions, the doctor examined them and glanced at the form.
“Xu Xiaoyue? Nineteen? Legal adult?”
Xu Xiaofeng rolled her eyes. “What? Not believable?”
Fortunately, the form didn’t have a photo. Even if it did, Xu Xiaofeng could puff out her chest and say, “Yep, that’s me!”
Honestly, Xu Xiaofeng’s current appearance did resemble her male teenage self a bit, and even looked somewhat like Xu Xiaoyue.
Also, Xu Xiaoyue’s ID picture was from her freshman year, so she just looked a bit older now.
They gritted their teeth and went along with it; others really couldn’t refute that.
The doctor also said, “Your development… uh, nutritional status seems a bit poor. You really should get checked.”
The examination went smoothly.
They passed the first hurdle, and subsequently, the doctors were more inclined to overlook the details.
However, after finishing the whole process, Xu Xiaoyue was told to wait until tomorrow for the results.
How could they possibly wait!!
So, the two went back to speak with the first doctor. After a lot of coaxing and even mentioning how the examinee almost despaired and contemplated s*icide yesterday, the doctor finally relented.
“Today’s traffic is light; I’ll expedite it for you. Come back in an hour for the results.”
At last, the results came out.
It was the same doctor who looked at the data and said, “Everything’s normal! In fact, you’re even healthily abnormal—no small problems whatsoever. Wait, what’s this…?”
She frowned and glanced at Xu Xiaofeng.
“Oh, don’t worry; this should just be an indication of immature s*xual development, but you’ll be fine soon. Congratulations, Little Sister.”
Xu Xiaofeng thought: Should I say a certain phrase now or just keep quiet?
