Chapter 203: I’m Not Interested in Games, I Love Learning
The classmates were utterly dumbfounded.
“Whoa! The teacher is amazing!”

He then wrote a few big characters on the blackboard: “Game Engineering and Exploration.”
“This is the name of the new academy. Now, let me give you a detailed introduction.”
Professor Xu began his presentation using a PowerPoint.
In short, this new academy was divided into two majors: Game Engineering and Game Exploration.
Sounds fancy, right? But in reality, it’s just playing games.
The former is like the logistics team, while the latter is like the combat squad.
However, players don’t really have production roles in games; the distinction is more like elite members and regular members in a guild.
In fact, by the end, the entire major will essentially form a guild.
Compared to regular guilds, this place’s logistics team will have better security, more systematic training, and a fairer allocation of resources.

Xu Xiaoya rested her chin on her hands, listening intently. “Interesting.”

First of all, if one had to pick a major, the Exploration major would definitely be the top choice.
Everyone would think that way, but then it would be a contest of talent. Talent is hard to measure and, at the end of the day, comes down to gaming skills.
Xu Xiaoyue’s skills were definitely top-notch at school. Even without the latest boosts from Xu Xiaoya, she could still dominate over everyone else.
She was quite the celebrity, the type that could be invited as a special guest to the official live streams.
And once she entered the Exploration major, it was like skiing on the government’s budget while also getting help from the logistics students.

Although none of this could match Xu Xiaoya’s own efficiency.
But she was busy too; she had to level herself up.
Giving Xu Xiaoyue equipment and skills outright would just overwhelm her, turning her into a number-crunching monster without the corresponding gameplay skills.
Going along with the normal pace might just be better for her.
Of course, if she ran into any trouble along the way, she could always come to her for help.
After Professor Xu wrapped up his introduction, Xu Xiaoya couldn’t help but sigh, “This major really thinks things through; it must have been planned a long time ago.”
Once the professor finished, it was time for the students to ask questions.
Sure enough, the students quickly brought up the topic of major selection.
The answers came just as Xu Xiaoya had anticipated.
After everyone had finished asking, Professor Xu scanned the room again.
He was looking for someone but couldn’t find them.
No way, could someone actually be absent for this?

The room fell silent.

“Not here? Is she sick?”
“No, she said she’s not interested in games; she wants to study, so she didn’t come.”

Even Xu Xiaoya was shocked, staring at Xu Xiaoyue.
Xu Xiaoyue’s face was as emotionless as a stone, her posture straight as a rod, and with her monotonous tone, she spoke with an odd sense of credibility.

Is this even reasonable?
Professor Xu couldn’t help but question his life choices.
Is it possible for a college student to be disinterested in games? The only time that happens is when they can’t meet the hard requirements.
But this was a funded major, with support for subsidies and even free hardware giveaways.
Then in the next breath, Xu Xiaoyue added, “She said if it were a physics class, she wouldn’t miss it. Compared to games, she’d rather dedicate herself to studying physics and become a proud physicist.”
She maintained her icy demeanor throughout, making it impossible to detect a hint of deception.
You have to admit, she had mastered the art of looking serious while lying. Even Xu Xiaoya felt a little overshadowed.

“Yep.” Xu Xiaoyue replied briefly and then turned to Xu Xiaoya, “Right, Little Yuliya?”
Xu Xiaoya rubbed her forehead, then solemnly nodded, “Right, she said that; she’s not interested in games.”
