Just then, she spotted a cartoon mascot costume displayed in a shop that had opened a couple of days ago.

She quietly snatched the costume and left a few bills behind.
Meanwhile, Chen Hongyi and his pals searched for a while before finally spotting their outsider big brother.
But to their surprise, the newcomer looked utterly ordinary—no muscles, no intimidation whatsoever.
“Is this who was sent over? I paid a huge sum for this?!” Chen Hongyi exploded.
“Oh come on, he’s just a student. Since I’m the hired help, I won’t nitpick too much. As for my strength…”
The big brother picked up a stone from the ground, crushing it in his palm with effort.
After three seconds, he opened his hand to reveal deep impressions from his fingers etched into the stone.
“Gasp!”
The three took a step back, collectively shocked, while impressively showing off their surprise.
“Big bro, that’s impressive!”
“Just a piece of cake, call me Daozi.”
“Daozi, here, smoke a cigarette.”
“Daozi, our target isn’t here yet. We need to use some tricks to lure her.”
“Just hold on for a sec.”
Chen Hongyi felt reassured. With this kind of strength, taking care of mere Xu Xiaoyue was surely a piece of cake.
The four of them marched into the community.
They intentionally avoided the cameras, ready to execute their plan.
However, as soon as they entered the blind spot of the surveillance, they hadn’t even gotten a word out when a shadow appeared out of nowhere.

Three resounding thuds, and the three fell like dominoes.

Only then did he get a chance to see who had ambushed them. He looked up to find… two round shiny eyes staring back at him and a face that was oval-shaped.
The assailant was none other than Makabaka!
A garden baby powerhouse, terrifying indeed!
“Y-you…”
He tried to say something, but just then, a slightly shrill voice rang in his ears.
“Good night, Makabaka.”
In the next moment, Daozi felt a sharp pain in his neck and lost consciousness.
After taking care of the four, Xu Xiaoya, aka Makabaka, moved them to a hidden corner.
She ignored the other three and focused on Daozi.
This guy’s strength likely came from the otherworld; his sync rate in the game wouldn’t be too low.
If he could throw a punch at her current level, his power was unquestionable.
However, this was also because Xu Xiaoya had chosen to knock out the other three first, giving him time to react.
If she had taken him down first, it would have been an instant win.
But getting spotted by one person was easier to handle than three.
Just then, her phone pinged.
Xu Xiaoya opened it to see it was Little Moon.
“Little Moon! Someone wants to catch you, but I’ve already taken care of it!”
