“Huh?” Xu Xiaoyue’s mouth dropped open. “A fake princess?”
“You’re the fake one!” Xu Xiaoya pinched Xu Xiaoyue’s thigh hard.
“Even though we’re not real sisters, we still share some bl**d ties.”
Ancestors are still relatives!
“Elia and I do resemble each other a bit.”

Basically just the hair; facial features could go either way.

A bit of a stir… as in attracting all the players in Emerald City? If this were ancient times, she’d probably be on trial for conspiracy!
Xu Xiaoyue didn’t even have the energy to roll her eyes at her.

With that, Xu Xiaoyue totally got it. It made perfect sense.
This is how it always goes in novels and TV shows; even if she hasn’t raised pigs, she knows how they run.
But there was still one major issue.
“But why did you go from… Xu Xiaofeng to now being a princess? Why do you have a dual identity?”
“This is something I only just found out, and it’s what I really need to explain.”
Xu Xiaoya suddenly looked up at the ceiling as if she could see through it straight to the starry night sky, striking a wise pose out of nowhere.
“Xiaoyue, do you believe in reincarnation?”
“Huh?”
That one sentence sent Xiaoyue into an existential crisis.
Wait… sis, we were in a fantasy world, why are we diving into metaphysics now?
But whether it was magical or mystical, it had no connection to Blue Star.
“So, you mean this is your reincarnation?”

This was the point Xu Xiaoya felt needed extra emphasis.

“Tch!” Xu Xiaoya turned her head away.
No problem. Not washing bowls doesn’t bother her at all.
Those bowls should be mature enough by now; they should learn to wash themselves.
With just a wave of her hand, the dishes would do it all automatically.
However, the moment Xu Xiaoya turned back, a happy smile broke out on her face.
It felt great to have no barriers between her and Xiaoyue.
Xiaoyue had a similar reaction.
They were twins, after all, with a special connection that was almost telepathic.
“A thought, sis. Since both sides are real worlds connected by the ‘Otherworld’ game, and this game was developed by the five major rational kingdoms, then…”
“Stop right there! You’ve overestimated the five major rational kingdoms. They don’t have the capability to develop such a powerful game.”

“That sounds about right.”
“As for where the game came from… I have a hunch. Xiaoya, do you know anything about the history of the Jade Emperor Kingdom?”
“Not a clue!”
“Uh…”
This was the state of nearly all players.
Know history? What’s that? Torture?
I’m grinding away every day and don’t even have time to check out history!
“Anyway, there was once a powerful nation called the Golden Kingdom. I suspect this game is closely related to the Golden Kingdom.”
Though this was just a guess, Yuliya was 90% sure.
Given the power of the Golden Kingdom, such a thing could definitely happen.
Plus, the way Sister Tong treated her — if others found out the system could talk, and even interact, they’d be utterly floored.
“When you have time, see if you can dig up anything about the Golden Kingdom.”
Xu Xiaoyue tilted her head. “Shouldn’t the princess go digging instead?”
“I’ll definitely be looking up info in the Jade Emperor Kingdom. But you can ask your school teachers; they surely have done some research. And the school is tied to the nation, which means they might know some insider details. If you can dig it up, that’d be fantastic.”
“Oh, that actually makes sense.”
“By the way, I have some connections with the Golden Kingdom, so you must pay attention to this and think of ways to investigate.”
Some connection? More like a million connections!
“Alright, I’ll find a chance to gather intel. After all, I do have quite a standing in school.”
Xu Xiaoyue stood a little straighter without even realizing it.
Not exactly world-shattering, but still had some peaks and valleys that made Xu Xiaoya feel a tad dazzled.
“Wow! Xiaoyue, you’re amazing!” Xu Xiaoya clapped vigorously, then poked Xiaoyue in the belly, making her shrink away, “Hmph! You should think about who helped you get up there.”
“I don’t care! Who told you to be unable to go to school! Even though the resources there don’t compare to those of a high and mighty princess, for us regular folks, they’re still quite rich.”
“After hearing what you said today, I finally understand what the school and nation are up to. I’ll just enjoy what I’m entitled to, no guilt at all.”
“Exactly! You’ve got to grab what’s yours. Next time, I’ll find a chance to take you to the Jade Emperor Kingdom’s palace and score you some good stuff.”
Xu Xiaoyue squeezed Xu Xiaoya tightly again, “Sister~, love you the most! Come on, give me a kiss! Mwah~”
“Get off me! Gross! At most, just a kiss on the cheek!”
“Okay! Smooch!”
And that concluded Xu Xiaoya’s heartfelt confession to Xu Xiaoyue.
That was enough to maintain their initial and most intimate bond.
As for anything more, they were still too far apart — both from Xiaoyue and from herself.
