Chapter 252: The Good Times Have Arrived
Every time there’s a transition of emperors in the Jade Emperor Kingdom, a little chaos tends to pop up.
But this time, the chaos lasted shockingly little time.

Second, the new emperor had other competitors—specifically Isaac—who appeared to be taking a long nap and wasn’t stirring up any trouble.
Third, the former empire’s number one powerhouse, the Royal Knight Order leader Edward, was personally keeping watch over things.
In the end, the Jade Emperor Kingdom seemed to have returned to calm.
Meanwhile, a juicy rumor spread like wildfire among the nobles, turning into gossip that would make any tea party a hit.
As it turns out, in today’s Jade Emperor Kingdom, the number one person you absolutely cannot offend is not the Empress Elia—because she’s still finding her footing—but rather the newly minted Grand Princess Yuliya.
If you upset any of the top three, you’d only have one person to worry about.
But mess with this Grand Princess? Well, then you might find yourself in a three-way mess, with possibly all three of them taking turns to make your life a circus act.

Today, our most untouchable Grand Princess Yuliya was strolling through the royal palace with Isaac.
Having sorted out most of the empire’s affairs, Yuliya planned to pop into her sister’s room for a quick chat before hitting up the outskirts for some fun.
The outer city was her comfort zone. While she could roam freely in the palace, it was all “yes ma’am” and “no ma’am,” which got a bit tiresome.
Isaac seemed to have his own business with Elia, so he tagged along.
Suddenly, a young lad came marching toward them, and upon spotting the two, he practically turned into a human pretzel, kneeling and bowing his head like he was trying to impress a particularly picky cat.
“Greetings, Your Highness the Princess! Your Highness the Prince!”
“Get up, there’s no need to be so nervous,” Yuliya said casually, like she was just chatting about the weather.
“Yes!”
The lad agreed, but before standing up, he slammed his head onto the ground for dramatic effect: “I’ve sinned against Your Highness the Princess! I’ve turned over a new leaf and beg for your forgiveness!”
“Huh?”
Yuliya blinked in confusion.
When did she even get offended?
Even if she had, did it merit such panic?
Who didn’t know she was the well-known Yuliya the Radiant Princess, who never held grudges and just laughed things off?
Isaac seemed to pick up on Yuliya’s bewilderment and casually said, “I think he’s from the Kreimans family. They caused trouble for you and Elia when you first cleared the Hero Trial Tower.”
“Oh! Now I remember!”
Yuliya recalled the incident, chuckling to herself.
See, she didn’t hold grudges. Even the ones who went to town on her, she managed to forget.
Yuliya smiled, “No worries! I forgot all about that little incident ages ago. You’re that lively one, right? Wright, was it? I’ve already forgiven you. Stand up!”
“Yes! Thank you, Your Highness!”
Wright stood up, stealing a glance at Yuliya and catching a whiff of her smile.
Just one glance, and he turned tomato red and immediately buried his face in his neck.
This scene didn’t escape Isaac’s sharp eyes.
He frowned, “What? Got something else to say?”
“N-No.”
“If there’s nothing, then…”
Stare!
Yuliya was like an overzealous spellchecker—once a keyword was triggered, her gaze went straight to Isaac.
Isaac quickly backpedaled, “Just… hurry and leave, slackers shouldn’t linger in the palace.”
“Yes! I take my leave!”
Wright scampered off faster than a cat escaping a bath.
Yuliya shrugged watching him go, “That was odd. What was he doing in the palace?”
“I heard Duke Kreimans was caught up in a web of crimes, and the Emperor locked him in the dungeons. His territory has been split into pieces, and his son inherited the biggest chunk.”
“Oh oh! Good riddance!” Yuliya nodded vigorously.
Isaac’s mouth twitched.
Not to be rude, but was that the best choice of words? Why bother putting up all these formalities only to be outdone by you?
But he kept his mouth shut.
No worries, no worries! After today, he was heading out of Emerald City to the border, finally escaping the clutches of this feisty little princess.
The two soon arrived at the palace hall.
Yuliya laid out her case, and it got approved faster than a cat can knock something off a table; but she was told to return to the palace frequently.
Isaac and Elia seemed to be gearing up for a lengthy chat, so Yuliya skedaddled out first.
Out she went, ready to rock the outer city!
Meanwhile, the players in the outer city had been thriving like never before.
With the empire undergoing so much drama, a flurry of problems cropped up, and guess who had to solve them? Our lovely adventurers!
The Adventurer’s Guild was rolling out quests faster than you could say, “I need a vacation.” Not only were there tons of tasks but the rewards were fatter than a cat on a hot tin roof.
The Empress’s ascension had cleared out a massive number of monsters, leaving behind only the strong or the lucky.
Taking on these critters naturally meant fatter wallets.
As for those mundane material-collecting quests? With fewer monsters around, one had to travel far and wide, which was a hassle, but prices soared higher!
Besides the Adventurer’s Guild, other NPCs were also churning out tasks like it was a competition—they were ready to throw a welcome party for their new ruler.
And here’s the kicker:
Empress Elia took Yuliya’s backhanded advice—what was it? Outsiders can be easy to handle, sprinkle in a little incentive, think herd mentality…and voilà!
After Yuliya spouted all this, plus Elia had genuinely benefited from the outsiders, the decision was made to roll out the red carpet for them!
With restrictions down and benefits up, previously locked areas and facilities were opened, and players erupted in cheer!
Elia even thought about letting Yuliya take charge of everything in the Adventurer’s Guild, but Yuliya had nixed that idea.
“Give me power? Sure! But running things? No thanks, I don’t want to wear myself out!”
So, Yuliya stuck to being a figurehead. The guild would run just fine, but if anything important popped up, she could dive right in.
This flurry of perks showered down upon the Jade Emperor Kingdom’s players made everyone else in different servers green with envy.
Main quests! This was THE main quest! A true shared benefit for the entire server!
The previously revealed honors for knights and prestigious adventurer teams had folks feeling a bit left out, but those were still for a select few, nothing most people could easily tap into.
Now, it wasn’t just one person getting the golden ticket—it was an entire server-level feast, and everyone felt a bit grumbly.
The online forums lit up with complaints that went off like fireworks.
But the Huaxia server players decided to keep it chill and just spam grinning emojis.
The more frustrated you got, the happier we became.
Your complaints only made our day better, whether in-game or out; the fun was all ours!
You big shots keep pushing that main quest along, will ya?
