Chapter 359: Kids Shouldn’t Watch
Little Moon was equally shocked.
This isn’t right! How did things suddenly get so pushy?
Wait a minute! On second thought, maybe it is right.
The Emperor is way cooler than any overbearing CEO, with a definite “take charge” vibe.
No, no, it’s still not right!
My sister is the one being forced here! This is unacceptable!
Fortunately, Elia’s grip only lasted a short moment before she let go and slightly tilted her head to ask, “Is that so?”
Before Little Yuliya and Little Moon could reply, the boss chimed in first, “Yes! Exactly! This guest picked it up really well!”
“But she’s not reacting at all. It’s different from what’s written in the book.”
Elia shook her head, observing Little Yuliya’s expression.
She was so composed, so cool, unperturbed, floating above it all.
As expected, the stuff in the book was completely unreliable.
Little Moon took a couple of steps to the side and peeked at Little Yuliya’s expression.
Indeed, she was as blank as a canvas, totally unfazed.
But Little Moon knew her sister was definitely malfunctioning.
In such situations, Little Moon could totally understand. If she were in that position, she’d probably freeze up too.
Oh well, maybe a reboot would help.
The boss raised an eyebrow upon hearing this.
Who would’ve thought that this little sister has such good composure?
Should I push it a bit more?
These young folks love a bit of flair. Even though she might be a bit older and not entirely hip with it, she understands enough after watching.
So, with a rustle, she grabbed another book.
“How about you take a look at this one? It’s even more intense, might just meet your needs.”
The boss smiled, with a hint of anticipation, mixed in with a little satisfaction of doing a good deed.
“But let’s not try this one now. Take your time with it when you go back. If you’re interested later, do visit my little shop more!”
“Oh? Now that’s intriguing.” Elia’s interest was piqued as she took the book.
She looked at it.
The cover, all colorful and bright, read: “Sister Treats Me With Tenderness.”
Upon seeing the title, Little Moon’s eyes widened.
No way… wait! What’s going on in this bookstore?!
They even have… such stimulating stuff?!
“Umm…” Little Moon timidly started to say something.
“Hmm?” Elia glanced over.
“It’s nothing…”
I tried, I really couldn’t find the words.
Elia refocused her attention on the book.
Like before, she tore it open and flipped through the pages at lightning speed.
This time, it seemed she was even faster than before.
Then… when she finally realized what she was seeing, it was already way too late.
She slammed the book shut with a loud “bang!”
A hint of pink tinged her cheeks but was quickly suppressed; no one noticed.
And that noise finally brought Little Yuliya back online.
She glanced at the oddly behaving Elia and then looked at the book in her hands.
But Elia was quick to react and immediately covered the book, hiding the cover.
“Sister, what book were you just looking at?”
“Nothing… nothing at all.”
Elia’s eyes actually showed the rare flicker of dodging.
Seeing the situation, and hearing their terms of endearment, the boss suddenly understood.
So that’s it, sisters! No wonder the reaction was so strong.
At the same time, he gave himself a mental high-five for his anonymous good deed.
“I’m a little curious, what was it you were reading to hide it so well?”
“Really nothing, I swear!”
Looking around, Elia finally turned to Little Moon and shoved the book into her hands, then grabbed Little Yuliya’s hand.
“Let’s look at something else; I need you to tell me about it.”
“Oh, okay.”
Little Moon watched as Elia started redirecting her sister’s attention, then looked at the book shoved into her hands.
Thinking for a moment, she decided to take a peek.
Just one peek.
Following the previously flipped pages, Little Moon found the spot Elia had seen.
Actually, Elia only glanced at a little bit, just a few dozen pages.
Little Moon first skimmed through the last few pages.
After a quick glance, she instantly closed the book, looking towards Elia and Little Yuliya while savoring the words she just saw.
Upon reflecting…
Wait! How strange!
So strange, I need to look again.
One more look.
Last chance!
In the next moment, she slammed the book shut, hugging it tightly to her chest, her face turning slightly red as well.
What’s up with Sister suddenly hugging her little sister, smelling her hair and then… doing that?
While the text wasn’t explicit, it was rather beautiful, but the ambiance… well, let’s say it was certainly invigorating.
Little Moon’s commotion quickly caught the attention of the two strong women.
They turned around and saw the unmistakable blush on Little Moon’s face.
No way, Little Moon’s ability to hide her expression isn’t that strong.
Elia narrowed her eyes, a small smirk forming.
Indeed, she and Little Moon resonate on certain levels. It was the same when they first met in the Jade Emperor Kingdom before her coronation.
“Little Moon, were you… secretly reading?! Your actions are exactly like what Sister just did!”
Little Yuliya pointed at her, cheeks puffed up in a pout, “No way! I want to read too!”
Elia quickly grabbed her, “No way, Little Yuliya can’t read!”
Little Moon hugged the book tighter and took a step back, “Right! Little Yuliya absolutely can’t read!”
“Why not! That’s not fair!”

Elia: “You’re still a kid; it’s not appropriate.”
Little Moon: “This is definitely not for kids!”
Being called a kid made Little Yuliya quite unhappy.
She was clearly a mature adult!
“Hmph! You two are mean!”
“All right, let’s get back on track.” Elia shot Little Moon a look and continued to steer the conversation.
“Earlier, in the book I was reading, the overbearing CEO swept his beloved girl up in an embrace, commanding countless doctors to gather in the plaza. I can’t even pull that off; it sounds like only Little Yuliya could do that. Is that CEO really that strong?”
“Sister, don’t believe such brainless plots. There’s no one that amazing here. In reality, the strongest would probably only be… Bronze Level. Even at the peak, they wouldn’t exceed mid-Bronze tier standards.”
As Elia spoke to Little Yuliya, Little Moon had already led the boss away.
Elia’s look made sense; she wanted to buy up all the books here to ensure Little Yuliya wouldn’t see them, and it surely had that CEO flair.
But Little Moon wouldn’t let that happen.
“Boss, your shop isn’t exactly proper. This isn’t suitable.”
“Eh~, little lady, I’m just skirting the edge here. It’s all good. Nowadays, young folks really like this stuff. I’m sure you do too.”
“I…”
I actually do like it.
Ahem!
“Boss, I advise you to pull the plug on this stuff. You can see we have kids here too.”
“Oh, I see… I’ll tidy it up in a bit. Hand me the one you’re holding too.” The boss pretended to grab the book.
“Wait! You’re going to tidy up later, but it’s still for sale now? Just give me the complete set of this series, uh… one… two, four sets!”
“Sure thing, just wait a moment!”
The boss cheerfully started packing.
Little Moon straightened her expression.
Well, this book is an artistic literary piece. It’s about to be taken away, and who knows when she’ll see it again.
So buying a few sets to collect seems totally reasonable, right?
She and Elia decided to each get two sets.
