### Chapter 362: Ready to Depart
Elia and Little Yuliya chatted with Vice Commander Yi and company for quite a while.
Mainly, Elia wanted to get some answers about the issues that concerned her straight from the mouth of Huaxia Kingdom’s officials.
Little Yuliya occasionally played translator, making the awkward official language sound more lively or even illustrating it on the spot.
After this round of talks, Elia had pretty much finalized her thoughts on how to promote a blend between the two parties.
But this was just the beginning; a more formal communication would take place in the Jade Emperor Kingdom.
After all, it was Huaxia Kingdom unilaterally entering the Jade Emperor Kingdom. The Jade Emperor folks had only one route to visit, and that was via Yuliya and the Golden City. Talk about a hassle.
A good amount of time would still be needed to offer the other nobles of the Jade Emperor Kingdom more time to prepare for this delightful mess.
Although Elia was an emperor, she still had to take into account various nobles’ opinions.
With the talks wrapped up, Elia set off to check out the so-called “Otherworld Games.”
Unfortunately, she couldn’t log back into the Otherworld via the game console. That was like trying to exploit a bug—no way, José!
The simplest way for Elia to go back would be to wipe herself out, but that would do some serious soul damage.
The proper return method was just like her arrival: have Yuliya handle the logistics.
This visit to Dongda would be heavily promoted online and would surely catalyze the integration of the Blue Star people into the Otherworld.
To this end, Little Yuliya even pretended to casually showcase her abilities.
They were the real-deal emperor and princess of the Jade Emperor Kingdom, not some cosplay wannabes!
Even so, there would undoubtedly still be skeptics. But once everyone else got on board, those doubters could just go eat their hats.
Thus, this magical interdimensional journey with Elia concluded, and Little Yuliya safely escorted her back to the Jade Emperor Kingdom.
Oh! She almost forgot to bring those two sets of books for her.
Yuliya was not happy about that.
She had only read one of them and there were still three left unread!
Little Yuliya later dashed back to the bookstore only to find it had been locked up tighter than a drum.
Searching for the title online turned up zero results.
Not even a sister-themed book could be found.
One couldn’t help but exclaim, “Only Huaxia’s efficiency could pull this off!”
On the flip side, the Jade Emperor Kingdom was also rather efficient.
On the very day of her return, Elia drafted a trial plan for the integration between their two peoples.
By the next day, it was implemented, and by the third day, they were already conducting tests.
To help the nobles of the Jade Emperor Kingdom better accept Outsiders, they needed to recognize the benefits and perks these outsiders could bring.
Thus, the trial involved placing some Outsiders into the military forces of nobles.
Hand them over, let them do the dirty work, with only one rule: no intentional harm and absolutely no casualties!
They could tackle all the dirty and exhausting tasks that nobody else wanted, as long as they were paid according to the rules.
But, let’s be real, when nobles start “employing” others, it’s never that simple; all sorts of difficulties are bound to arise.
So, the participants in this trial were strictly chosen.
For those involved, suffering, labor, and humiliation were inevitable, but on the flip side, they would reap some decent rewards.
Not only would they blend into the Jade Emperor Kingdom quicker than the others post-experiment, but the tasks they would be given weren’t just grunt work. Oh no, they were precious experiences, high-level missions!
Throw those tasks out into the outside world, and players would be fighting tooth and nail for them.
Even the crappiest tasks were far better than mindlessly grinding monsters in the wild.
And so, everything was sailing smoothly along its predetermined course, headed for brighter horizons.
Yuliya had finished what she needed to do, and the subsequent dilemma was one for the two kingdoms to ponder.
It was time for her to focus on her own business.
That morning, Yuliya suddenly stood before Elia, her expression as blank as a sheet of paper: “Sister, I’m ready to set off.”
“Set off?” Elia paused mid-signature, “Set off for what?”
Yuliya lifted her head, “To venture outside, to explore this vast world and to find some answers to the questions I have about myself.”
“…”
Elia fell silent.
She remembered that a month ago, Yuliya had indeed mentioned this.
Unable to argue or refuse, she had already accepted it.
But now, it came out of nowhere and hit her like a ton of bricks.
“Can you wait a bit longer…?”
“The longer I wait, the greater the risk I pose to everyone,” Yuliya replied matter-of-factly.
The Time Demon God, Asmavasa, was always watching her. Even though the imprint was faint, he had some awareness and must have already begun to act.
“…”
Elia stared at Yuliya for a long time before finally sighing, “Just remember to say goodbye to the others.”
“Got it, I’ll go do that now.”
Elia nodded and went back to the stack of papers on her desk.
Yuliya turned to leave, her steps light.
Suddenly, without looking up, Elia asked, “Little Yuliya will come back, right?”
“Yeah, she definitely will.”
With that, Yuliya exited.
Only then did Elia raise her head and look around the empty palace.
Amelia had a troublesome task, so she had been gone for ages. During this time, it was Yuliya who kept her company.
Elia couldn’t help but chuckle ruefully.
“Ah, our farewell ended up being just a few short sentences. Guess I’m getting boring as an older sister.”
But deep down, she knew Yuliya felt the same way.
The closer the relationship, the shorter and more direct the goodbyes needed to be.
Say too much, and it could ruin the courage that had taken so long to muster. Leaving requires bravery and determination.
So, she didn’t say much, and neither did Yuliya.
After taking a few steps, Yuliya also smiled wryly.
She looked at the jade pendant on her left hand and the ring on her right, shaking her head.
Both of those items were meant for her sister, Elia.
“Forget it, I’ll have the teacher deliver them later.”
Edward and Isaac were in the palace and could share farewells together.
But before saying goodbye to them, she needed to find someone else first.
Yuliya turned and headed deeper into the palace.
There was a Teleportation Array there.
Due to safety concerns, the palace had very few of these—just this one, which Yuliya built herself, a miniature cross-border teleportation array leading to other empires.
She stepped into the array and blinked out to find herself in the Verdant Empire.
Before the elite guards of the Verdant Empire noticed, she had already found Alisa, arriving right next to her in a flash.
“Sister Alisa, want to go to the Jade Emperor Kingdom for some fun?”
Alisa gasped, “Huh? Yuliya!”
“Yep!”
“What did you just say?”
“I said, do you want to go have some fun in the Jade Emperor Kingdom?”
Alisa frowned, “I’d love to, but my terrible father won’t allow it. He says I’ll cause trouble if I go there for no reason.”
“No worries, we’ll sneak away. It’ll be our little secret from His Majesty Ansar!”
“Do you really think we can pull one over on Dad?”
“Relax, I have a plan.”
“Well then…” Alisa asked, a glimmer of hope in her eyes, “Shall we?”
“Let’s go!”
With that, they vanished into thin air.
But a letter remained behind—”To His Majesty Ansar, personally opened.”
