Transformed Into a Fallen Princess, I Sell Nuclear Bombs at the Beginner Village – Chapter 388

Chapter 388: The Last Service Area

Once Little Li had eaten her fill, there was still half a soul left untouched.

Then, the real fun began—she just tossed the soul aside.

Right now, Di’s spiritual awareness was barely a flicker, just the most primal instinct to survive. As soon as he broke free, he was ready to bolt.

And he was pretty quick.

But Little Li? She was quicker!

In a flash, she was on him, grabbing the soul and trotting back like she owned the place.

Then she let it go.

“Let’s see you run ten more meters this time!”

And off she went again.

Yuliya stood there, arms crossed, watching the spectacle.

Was that a Husky vibe I’m getting?

But wait, this Husky was smarter than most! No need for a human to throw a frisbee; she was entertaining herself just fine.

Oh no, no, no! Not a Husky—this is my precious golden ferret!

After a good play session, Little Li proudly strutted up to Yuliya, nudging the soul towards her.

“Got enough fun, now please handle my snacks.”

Yuliya accepted it and expertly rolled it back into a neat little ball for safekeeping.

Within moments, Little Li had darted onto her shoulder, curling up into a cozy ball ready for a snooze.

“…”

Ah, the circle of life: eat, run, then sleep. This little guy sure knows how to indulge!

Yuliya gave her a gentle nudge. “Get up! Don’t sleep on my shoulder, you’re making it too obvious.”

She opened a pocket on her cloak, allowing the tiny furball, barely the size of two palms, to snuggle inside for some well-deserved naptime.

As long as Little Li didn’t get too rowdy, no one would have a clue she was there.

Don’t be fooled by her size; her power is no joke.

Freshly hatched, she was already at Gold Level!

If anyone found out, whether the locals or the “players” from Blue Planet, they’d sigh in disbelief: “Some pets have it better than us!”

Though Little Li wasn’t a dog—she was a golden ferret!

And the name’s got “gold”—that means she’s got the goods!

Not only is she Gold Level, but she also possesses impressive spatial attributes.

Quick on her feet, she could zip around like a pro!

After wrapping things up, Yuliya took a lap around the area, scooping up two Golems before making her exit.

There was plenty within this space that could be treasures, but none of it was of use to Yuliya.

She had already snagged two Legendary items without triggering any celestial phenomena.

Arriving at the tenth layer of the ruins, she took a glance at Rowlin and Dora. Yep, they were dead.

After letting their bodies fade into the air, she took Martina and Gillian and teleported to a secluded corner on the surface.

Yuliya placed her hands on their foreheads, channeling her power into them.

She skillfully worked inside their bodies, clearing away most of the curse—just a tiny bit would fade away with time.

Then she withdrew her hands and let out a sigh.

After a moment, the two slowly woke up, dazedly surveying their surroundings.

“What just happened…?”

“Where are we?”

Yuliya squatted down to meet their confused gazes. “We’ve come out of the ruins. How are you feeling now?”

“Riya? My head kind of hurts.”

“I feel really tired.”

“That’s alright; just rest a bit, and you should be fine. Where are you staying? I can take you back.”

Martina frowned in thought, finally turning to Yuliya with a puzzled expression. “I remember… we went to the very bottom of the Darank Ruins, and Eber seemed off.”

“And… what else?”

Gillian chimed in, sporting a similar look of bewilderment. “What about the others?”

Yuliya studied them for a long moment before letting out a deep sigh.

They hadn’t completely lost consciousness when the curse erupted, so they had seen some things, which was quite normal.

Yuliya couldn’t manipulate their memories without risking their souls—making someone forget entirely would mean cutting off their soul from memory altogether.

The Golden Kingdom’s research on memory and soul was woefully elementary, nothing to write home about. They were more focused on space and the future.

“I’m afraid everyone else is dead. It’s just the three of us left. That person you saw wasn’t Eber; he’s been dead for ages. Some ancient monster took over his body.”

“He led us there to hunt for treasure, but really, that place was just a trap. We managed to survive by staying out of sight.”

Yuliya spun a half-truth.

There was no point in over-explaining; it was better to leave them with a bittersweet memory that they could reflect on.

“Is that so?” Martina and Gillian nodded, still a bit dazed.

Then they shared the location of their inn.

Yuliya led them there and instructed the staff to take them to rest.

She glanced at the rental situation.

“Five rooms? Is it one per person?”

Well, at least they had some standards!

Yuliya chuckled softly, shaking her head as she turned to leave.

Her business here was done; time to skedaddle.

Restock on supplies, especially food—got two mouths to feed now!

Yuliya exited Yana City, soaring high into the sky, heading north.

After flying for a bit, Sister Tong’s long-lost voice suddenly chimed in her head.

“His Highness, you’ll soon be exiting the Carol realm. My coverage ends here.”

“Hmm?” Yuliya paused, pulling out a map.

Actually, her distance from the Jade Emperor Kingdom was still barely the size of a fingernail on this map.

The whole area was mind-bogglingly vast.

Sure, there were gaps between realms that would stretch things out significantly, but it really made her marvel at how enormous the continent once was.

“Oh, I see. So if I keep going, I’ll be completely out…”

Even while away from the Jade Emperor Kingdom, Yuliya still occasionally checked the forums or chatted with Little Moon to keep up with current events back home.

Sometimes, when nighttime rolled around and she had nothing going on, she’d log off and hang out with Little Moon on Blue Planet.

But if she pushed further, it would be like exiting the service area, cutting ties with both the Jade Emperor Kingdom and the Blue Planet.

It wasn’t a complete severance; she still had a body on Blue Planet, and her avatar was still active in the Jade Emperor Kingdom. But unless it was an emergency, she wouldn’t rely on those final setups to return.

That kind of magic came with a hefty price—like, say, possibly self-destructing.

“Well, I guess I’ll hang around here for a bit. I’ll set some things up back on Blue Planet.”

She sent a message to Little Moon, setting a meetup for later.

Then she found a tree, landed on its branches, and lay back to rest.

Yuliya closed her eyes and silently logged out of the game.

Her vision filled with white light as her soul sped away, the distance growing longer and longer as the journey stretched out.

After a while, she opened her eyes and found herself back on Blue Planet.
