Little Yuliya was waiting at home for Little Moon to arrive.
She looked around at the decorations, suddenly feeling curious, picking things up one by one and inspecting them closely.

“Stop! Hahahah! Please stop! Hahahaha! I’m gonna fight back!”
Suddenly, Little Yuliya felt herself being enveloped in a hug.
Little Moon’s voice dropped to a whisper, like a fly buzzing in her ear, “How long will you be gone…”
“…” Yuliya spoke softly, “A long time. Maybe a year? I don’t really know.”
“A whole year…?”
Little Moon leaned on Little Yuliya’s shoulder, a chill creeping through her clothes.
It felt damp, and cold.
The room fell silent, the only sound being the faint sobs echoing.
Finally, Little Moon took a deep breath. “You go, take care, and come back soon.”
“Yeah, you take care too. If something really urgent comes up, you can…”
Halfway through her sentence, Little Moon covered her mouth. “Don’t worry, we have our own strength.”
That night, Little Moon and Little Yuliya fell asleep in each other’s embrace.
It was a long and peaceful night.
