Chapter 443: Opening Minds, Expanding Horizons
Three minutes were up, and students had done their fair share of thinking and discussing.
Yet, after all that, they were still left wide-eyed, staring blankly at each other.
What’s going on? I’ve never seen anything like this before!
Euphilia scanned the room, completely unbothered.
This was totally expected.
After all, no one had ever seen a classroom experience like this—no text or speech, just the occasional doodle.
It was exactly why Euphilia’s previous presentations had caused such a ruckus among the students.
Pulling that off wasn’t easy; it required a combo of multiple magic spells and a high level of control over each one.
Even without Yuliya’s animation, just creating one image took a lot of effort.
For example, the Holy Felis Daily usually didn’t include images; if they did, getting fifty percent accuracy was considered impressive.
The reason everyone recognized “Lady Riya” was purely due to her distinctive features.
To put it simply, they were completely clueless when it came to photos and videos.
Then suddenly, Euphilia showed up like a magic trick and screened a movie for everyone.
The result? Boom! Mind explosion.
But since she’s obviously an elf, many just chalked it up to some special ability of hers, glossing over the bizarre experience.
Now that this ability was being used in a teaching context for the first time, it was no wonder everyone was confused.
At this moment, they needed a little push.
Ah, no! Not a push!
Let’s call it a “leading by example.” A “throwing a brick to attract jade”!
So Yuliya raised her hand.
When Kaise saw her hand go up, her eyes blinked in surprise.
Wait, you want to answer your own question? Who knew that was a thing?
Learning on the fly here!
Yuliya was called on.
Clearing her throat, she slowly said, “This picture actually doesn’t give much information. Just looking at it is quite hard to understand what it means. So, are we supposed to use our imagination?”
Euphilia nodded with a smile.
“Alright, I’ll share my thoughts and guesses. First off, it looks like there are two males and one female. You can see the shadow of a town in the background. They seem to be moving away.”
“So I can assume they’re eloping!”
With that, the students who had been staring at Yuliya had their mouths drop open.
What?! How did she figure that out?
They looked left and right, whispered among themselves, and still couldn’t see the connection.
“Isn’t this about imagination? I’m just guessing.” Yuliya shrugged. “The picture never said they definitely aren’t eloping, right?”
Uh… she had a point; it was too vague to tell.
Another classmate raised their hand and stood up to ask, “Wait a second, how can three people elope?”
“Is it so hard to accept the idea of three people eloping?” Yuliya muttered.
“…”
“Well, how about two of them elope, and one tries to stop them? Just toss one out!” Yuliya casually suggested.
She was totally fine with it; eloping was fine by her, as long as she got a good show.
“Are we talking about getting rid of the first guy? But both of them are in front; that’s not very logical.”
“I meant ditch the last one; she looks like she’s the one chasing them.”
“Wait? Two guys eloping?”
The student asking the question went wide-eyed, and the rest blinked repeatedly.
“Don’t be so rigid with gender; if there’s love, anything is possible!”
Now that it had come to that, there was nothing else to clarify.
The student just sat back down.
Thus, Yuliya spun a tangled love triangle tale where, in the end, the two male leads left happily together while the female lead fainted in the restroom.
After hearing her out, the classmates nodded in agreement.
Aside from the whole “two guys eloping” premise being a bit out there, it was quite reasonable.
Is it really reasonable?
Considering there was barely any information in the picture, all the rest was pure storytelling—so yeah, it definitely made sense.
A lot of new students recalled their entrance exam and how the rules were similar, giving nothing and allowing for anything to be made up.
No wonder “Lady Riya” came in first!
After Yuliya finished her answer, everyone in the classroom, including Euphilia, applauded.
“Alright, does anyone else want to answer my question? My class is about thinking outside the box, expanding your horizons—it’s all about saying whatever comes to mind!”
But after waiting a while, no one responded.
Looks like their minds still weren’t wide enough open; the “example” wasn’t enticing enough yet.
So Yuliya poked Kaise: “You give it a try.”
“Me?” Kaise shrank back. “I have no idea what to say!”
“Just say… that the male is actually a female disguised as a boy!”
“Wait, that’s a thing?” Kaise was once again flabbergasted.
“Why not? The picture never said he’s a guy, right? Go on, go on!”
Yuliya helped Kaise raise her hand.
Called on, Kaise stood up and answered, “I… I think the second male might be a female! She’s dressed as a guy!”
As soon as those words left her mouth, the students were once again dumbfounded.
Doesn’t that look completely male?
Dressing as a guy?
Whoa… that’s actually a possibility!
After all, there’s no way to prove she isn’t a female; I can just say she is!
“Interesting!” A student suddenly exclaimed.
Many turned their gaze to a senior who promptly stood up and said, “This junior has a point! This is what we call innovative thinking!”
Kaise quickly shook her head. “This… this is actually what Lady Riya made me say.”
“Ah, that makes sense; no wonder she’s Lady Riya!”
Kaise sat down, passing the topic back to the senior.
So he narrated a much more tangled love-hate story, filled with elements like TS, amnesia, bondage, exposure, monster encounters, and… you know, more spicy stuff.
Okay, let’s translate that: dressing as the opposite gender, playing dumb, getting caught, breaking free, encountering monsters, outdoor barbecuing.
I must say, it was quite the riveting tale.
Plot twists galore!
But the only problem? How did it suddenly turn into a romance between two female leads, with the last male lead crying in the restroom?
Just a real talent there.
Euphilia grew intrigued and asked, “That was excellent, could you introduce yourself to the class?”
The student simply introduced himself as Antuo.
Euphilia nodded, but Yuliya furrowed her brow in thought.
“Isn’t that name familiar?”
She glanced at Kaise.
Kaise tilted her head and suddenly slapped her forehead: “I remember! I’ve seen that name on a registration form in the medical room a few times!”
Now that it was mentioned, Yuliya recalled it too; it was on the list Kaise had given her.
Coupled with his storytelling skills, it was solid proof—this Antuo was also from the Feihua News Agency!
No wonder he’s in journalism; his storytelling skills are off the charts!
