Harry looked at Xu Xiaofeng with a puzzled expression, wanting to say something but hesitating.
“President, I’d like to purchase a large quantity of Sunfruit. Is that possible?”
“How much are we talking about?”
“Initially, I was thinking… about a million.”
“How many?”
“Alright, let’s make it two million.”
Xu Xiaofeng thought to herself, that’s quite the high minimum order!
“Wait… Miss Wind, why do you need so many?”
Two million? That’s like twenty percent of the population in the outer districts! Does she plan to share them with the entire area?
How else could she possibly eat all that?
“Miss Wind, Sunfruit isn’t easy to store. Even under the best conditions, it lasts only a week before losing its effects.”
A weekly refresh of resources for Bronze Level breakthroughs? That sounds even better!
Xu Xiaofeng happily replayed Harry’s words in her head, feeling even more ecstatic.
“Let’s stick with two million then. Best if you can gather them within three days, can President Harry make that happen?”
“Well…”
“If three days is too tight, at least get me a million by then, and I can place a follow-up order.”
Harry silently calculated in his head, gritting his teeth before nodding, “A million should be doable. But Miss Wind, I must remind you, these are tough to store.”
“No problem, I have my plans.”
Harry sighed and nodded again; he couldn’t quite grasp the logic of nobility. Maybe she really did have some grand scheme up her sleeve.
“Now, about the purchase price. The market usually has them at 10 silver coins each, but for such a large order, I can give you a 10% discount.”
“I’ll pay 50 silver coins each. Please arrange it, President Harry. However, I have one requirement: all the Sunfruit must be of perfect quality.”
“This…”
Xu Xiaofeng tilted her head with a smile, “Five times the price, should that be an issue?”
“N-no issue at all.”
Harry sighed for the third time.
Sitting across from him was a girl younger than his daughter, yet he felt like he had wasted his forty-something years of life.
He’d never seen business done this way! This was completely unheard of!
“Ah, I have one more request.”
“Please, go on.”
“I’d like to use your chamber’s warehouse to store this batch for about ten days. Is that convenient?”

Even if it weren’t convenient, it had to be! After all, she was offering five times the price, what could possibly be inconvenient?
Xu Xiaofeng took a sip of water and suddenly seemed to remember something.

Though Harry tried very hard to restrain himself, he couldn’t help but sigh again.
But she was the one with the money, so whatever she said was the law. He had no objections—none at all, really.

This dad-like feeling was so satisfying!
She lightly tapped on the table.

“President Harry, have you had dinner yet? Do you have time to celebrate?”
Upon hearing this, the balloon-like excitement quickly deflated, and Harry almost slumped in his chair.
He gathered his spirits and managed a dry smile, “Thank you for your kind invitation, Miss Wind, but I have urgent matters to attend to. I truly cannot spare the time—my sincerest apologies.”
“No problem, there’s always next time.”
With that, she pulled out a golden bank note from who knows where.
This was a means of large transactions used by NPCs. It was also a certificate she received after Steven reminded her to store her gold coins in the royal vault.
“Here’s 500,000 gold coins as the payment for the first batch of Sunfruit. Please accept it, President Harry.”
“Th-this…” Harry trembled as he accepted the bank note, “You mean it’s the full amount…?”

He took out a golden token inscribed with the words “Qingfeng” and handed it to Xu Xiaofeng.

Xu Xiaofeng and Steven left the Qingfeng Chamber of Commerce.

Walking away, Xu Xiaofeng finally shed her stiff demeanor and returned to her lively self.

Xu Xiaofeng’s continuous quest for compliments made Steven almost crack up.
He had professional training and rarely smiled unless absolutely necessary…
This little girl is just too adorable!

What Xu Xiaofeng didn’t realize was that “noble young lady” wasn’t exactly a compliment.
Steven had been watching the entire time.
Even someone like him, not particularly savvy in business, could tell that his young lady wasn’t there to make deals; she was there to stir things up! It was like her face had “spoiled and willful” written all over it.
Thank goodness Harry was a person of great potential and could hold his temper. Otherwise, he’d need to seriously think about how to wrap this up.
Well, he couldn’t just march into their chamber and arrest them, could he?
