### Chapter 468: The Unexpected Teleportation
So, diving deep into Yuliya’s thoughts, the secrets hidden in this battlefield ruin were anything but ordinary!
And if this was a testing ground, you could bet there were other peculiar products lurking around, just like that giant vengeful spirit they first encountered.
The deeper they went, the more dangerous it became.
Though Danny suspected the hazards before entering, the reality might be much tougher than they had imagined.
Danny’s plan was to stay in the ruins for three or four days before heading out to focus on research.
The worst thing about historical research, you see, is getting trapped in a ruin for too long. It narrows your perspective! History needs to connect with the present, after all.
But looking at the current situation, it seemed Yuliya wouldn’t be able to stick to his plan.
If she followed Danny for three or four days, they’d likely still be in the shallow end of the ruins.
She needed to find a chance to go solo!
Hey, who said you couldn’t hang out in a ruin? That’s just for other people!
Yuliya’s perspective was way beyond the average Joe. She had seen and experienced things that most couldn’t even dream of!
And besides, Euphilia was there if things got dicey.
Yuliya discreetly expanded her sensory range, keeping an eye out on the broader environment.
She had to find the right opportunity; she couldn’t just bolt whenever she felt like it.
Things were different now; once, she was a full-fledged princess who could run off and return with a simple “Sorry, Sis!” because her sister would totally get it.
But now she was just another diligent student! If she suddenly went missing, how many people would Danny rally to find her?
A bit further down the road, Yuliya suddenly spotted something intriguing.
In their direction, there was a hidden teleportation array.
The kind that was a common trap in ruins—step on it, and who knows where you’ll end up?
Well, for Yuliya, this was precisely the opportunity she was looking for.
She shrugged her shoulders and said, “Instructor, I suddenly feel like the atmosphere shifted. It’s a bit chilly.”
Danny focused for a moment, not feeling any changes, “Hey, it’s an underground ruin. Stay alert; we might bump into something.”
Yuliya nodded, then lifted her hand to cast a spell, a faint glow enveloping her.
“That should do it. Oh, let me give you some too, just a little protective magic.”
The same glow spread over Danny’s body.
Danny felt it; there was indeed a little warmth.
“Thanks! But I’m alright; you can save your magic for yourself.”
“It’s fine, I have plenty!”
“Ha! That’s good to hear,” Danny accepted gratefully.
A student’s kind gesture? A teacher should just accept it!
Look at this student—smart, diligent, incredibly talented, and considerate.
What luck! Where else could he find such a gem?
While Danny basked in a warm fuzzy feeling, little did he know Yuliya was secretly plotting.
Ten meters away was that hidden teleportation array, and she casually snuck in a way to cover it up.
Oh no, it wasn’t plotting; it was just coincidental!
What bad intentions could Yuliya have? She just wanted to sneak out for a stroll!
Danny was still focused on the surrounding walls, completely oblivious to the ground situation. With Yuliya’s cover, he wouldn’t even notice.
Meanwhile, the three adventurers a step behind were also just looking ahead and behind.
So, everyone naively stepped right onto it.
The next moment, the teleportation array lit up with a dazzling glow.
Everyone’s faces turned pale.
Oh no! A trap!
It’s a teleportation array!
Danny reacted first, reaching out to grab Yuliya.
But this trap was triggered way faster than anyone could imagine! In moments, a blinding white light engulfed them.
Danny’s hand swiped through thin air.
The next second, they found themselves somewhere in the ruins.
Danny quickly glanced around. Besides him, there were two other people.
But the most important thing? His precious student was nowhere to be found!
“Riya! Where are you?!”
He yelled, of course, receiving no answer.
The two adventurers behind him were equally flustered, but after looking around, Sifann the Tigerman furrowed his brow, “This place… feels a bit familiar, like the one we visited before.”
“It does! We should be close to the entrance. Could this teleportation array be an escape route?” Jaine speculated.
As seasoned adventurers, they had explored countless ruins and encountered plenty of similar trapping teleportation arrays, so they were relatively calm.
“Professor, don’t panic! We all teleported together. Little Sister and Sinful should be nearby, most likely close to the exit. Nothing dangerous should be around.”
Danny frowned, but felt a bit relieved when he looked down.
The protective magic was still active, ensuring that everything was fine on Yuliya’s end.
“Let’s get out of this mess. Sinful will probably choose to meet us outside,” Danny sighed.
They all left the underground ruins together and waited near the exit.
Meanwhile, Yuliya’s plan was a rousing success.
She had sneakily manipulated the teleportation array! What was once an unknown destination had now become her shortcut to freedom.
That protective magic? Yep, she intentionally cast that on Danny to keep him calm and ensure he’d know things on her end were safe.
Now, everyone else was teleported away, leaving her with the stage all to herself! Time to have some fun!
Oh wait… hang on! There’s still someone here!
Just as she was ready to celebrate, Yuliya suddenly noticed someone beside her and froze in shock.
The other person had a similar expression, wide-eyed and utterly baffled.
Yuliya’s mind raced as she quickly analyzed the situation.
So, the teleportation array had indeed included everyone, successfully activated, and the destination was correct. Her plan was flawless!
So why was this other person still here alongside her?
Unless… they had planned this too!
At that moment, Yuliya realized that the appearance of this teleportation array was rather abrupt.
It was a battlefield, not some routine trial ruin—there shouldn’t have been a teleportation array here!
If it was present, it could only mean someone had set it up in advance.
And excluding herself, that left just one other person—the Foxman, Sinful.
Well, well, this just got a lot more interesting!
In an instant, Yuliya pieced everything together.
Maintaining her shocked expression, she murmured, “Instructor? Where’s Danny? Did he get teleported away?”
(Starting this month, I plan to go for three updates a week—4.1 counts as a break, right?)
