Transformed Into a Fallen Princess, I Sell Nuclear Bombs at the Beginner Village – Chapter 470

Chapter 470: Kidnapping Myself

After several tests, Yuliya found that it wasn’t just the stronger monsters that he avoided.

Sometimes, even Gold Level monsters would be sidestepped, and other times, he encountered tough opponents and immediately bolted after a quick scuffle.

This indicated that what he sensed was probably not the strength of the monsters but rather… their locations.

He deliberately avoided certain spots.

That meant the place he intended to go was also somewhere special.

Yuliya was pretty excited, wondering what surprises lay ahead.

At this point, Yuliya had no intention of causing trouble anymore; she was seriously leading the way, eager to reach their destination.

“It seems we’ve arrived at a new area. It might be a lot calmer here.”

Yuliya was talking nonsense with her eyes wide open.

In her perception, the surroundings were reflecting like a radar scan—full of red dots!

No problem, I have special dodging skills.

But I can’t completely ignore all of them; every now and then, I’ll need to put some pressure on this fox—get those muscles active.

Meanwhile, outside, at the entrance of the Underground Ruins, Danny stood a short distance away, keeping a keen eye on the entrance.

He occasionally glanced at himself, finding comfort in the faint glow that still lingered around him.

However, after two hours had passed since they left the ruins, he still hadn’t seen the other two.

“This isn’t good. It’s been too long; something must be wrong.”

Danny felt a bit restless.

“What do we do? Go in and find them?” Jaine sighed. “It’s so big inside, we’d never find them, and we might end up in trouble ourselves.”

“I’ll go fetch help. The Beastmen will provide some assistance in the name of Saint Felis Academy. If it comes to that, I’ll return to the academy myself.”

Once back at the academy, he would undoubtedly face a slap on the wrist for poor oversight, but that was beside the point.

“Professor, don’t rush,” Jaine tried to calm him down. “How about this: let Sifann go find help first? He’s a Beastman; he knows people. Meanwhile, we’ll try a quick search inside.”

Sifann frowned.

He didn’t really want to get too involved in this.

Accidents in the ruins were way too common; he felt it was best to take responsibility for himself.

He was still here out of social obligation.

Even if he turned and walked away, no one would blink.

But then Jaine stepped closer and whispered something in his ear.

“Really?” Sifann asked uncertainly.

“Not exactly certain, just that there’s a possibility—why not give it a shot?”

Sifann nodded. “Alright, let’s do this. I’ll be back as soon as I can.”

With that, he darted off towards the nearest city.

“What did you tell him?” Danny shot Jaine a glance.

“I think Sinful is up to something.”

“Up to something?” Danny jumped to his feet. “Doesn’t that put Riya in danger?!”

“Hey, Professor, don’t panic! Look, your protective aura is still intact, right?”

Indeed, that proved Riya was temporarily safe.

But Danny glared at Jaine. “Are you using me?”

“Professor, that’s not fair! We’re just mutually beneficial here. The end goal is the same, right?”

Jaine chuckled.

After all, everyone who dared to descend into the ruins had their own motives, and the only thing tying them together was mutual interest.

While the goals were the same, who cared about each other’s thoughts?

“As long as Sinful is still breathing, he will eventually come out of here. We just need to wait.”

The underground part of the ruins was enormous; while he wasn’t sure if there was only one exit, since there was a known exit here, he wouldn’t risk exploring others—especially since he had no idea if they even existed.

“As for little sister Riya, she’s probably with Sinful now. We have no way to go look for her. We can only wait.”

“With the strength of Saint Felis Academy, we can flip this ruins upside down if we really wanted to.”

“But that could actually work against little sister Riya. I don’t advise you to do that, Professor.”

“…”

If it were just a matter of getting lost in a regular ruin, it’d be one thing, but right now, this felt more like a kidnapping.

Aggressive measures could be deemed appropriate.

Jaine aimed to block Sinful here and grab whatever he had earned from the ruins, naturally hoping no one else would interfere.

And Danny was doing this for Riya, just waiting it out.

“I’ll wait at most two more days. After that, I’ll use my own methods.”

Two days from now was his originally scheduled time to leave the ruins.

“No problem, just two days!”

Jaine extended his hand, wanting to shake on it, but Danny swatted it away.

Sure enough, he still didn’t like adventurers.

The two continued to wait.

Everyone thought it was Sinful’s making, and Yuliya was now kidnapped.

Only Yuliya knew the truth: the kidnapper was me!

She was in cahoots with Sinful.

Now they were working together, pushing deeper into the ruins.

Sinful provided the general direction, while Yuliya chose the path to reach it.

As Yuliya led the way, she worked with Sinful to map out their reversals.

She noted every place he didn’t want to approach, planning to circle back later and check them out.

She was always attentive to Sinful’s expressions and movements, estimating the distance to their destination.

With this method, they moved efficiently, and in just half a day, they were already quite deep in the ruins—close to Sinful’s target.

It was time for Yuliya to make her escape.

Leveraging the rules she had observed, Yuliya led Sinful to a notorious gathering spot of vengeful spirits.

These foes were the toughest for him to handle.

While Sinful dealt with the monsters, Yuliya quietly slipped away.

By the time Sinful struggled to wipe out all the monsters and, as usual, called out, “Little sister Riya,” this time, that little rascal who had been playfully yet obediently leading the way didn’t respond.

Sinful searched for a while but found nothing.

Though he felt puzzled and sensed the oddity of the situation, he couldn’t afford to dawdle.

If he didn’t find her, so be it; in this deep section of the ruins, a Gold Level rookie like him could easily meet an untimely end with the slightest misfortune.

He needed to prioritize his own matters.

Shaking his head, Sinful dismissed any thoughts of Riya and focused on his direction, continuing forward.

Meanwhile, hundreds of meters behind him, concealed in total darkness, a pair of golden eyes observed him intently.

I’ve led the way long enough; now it’s your turn to guide us.
