Kaise held the collected materials, halfway intercepted by Okor.
“Principal, this is Euphilia Professor’s… assistant.”

Okor opened his mouth to say something else, but Mitina promptly ejected him with a wave of her hand.

“Alright, Principal, if you need anything, just call me.”
Okor quickly took his leave.
“Principal… um, hello! So, Euphilia is really busy. Do you want me to… go tell her you’re here?”
She knew all too well that everyone outside assumed Euphilia was swamped with work, too busy to show her face all day.
But in reality, her laboratory was spotless and organized, looking more like a cozy bedroom…

She understood Euphilia’s situation better than anyone.

She opened the barrier and entered.
Upon stepping inside, even with a mental preparation, Mitina was taken aback by the scene.
This was real; there was not a single sign of work!
So, where on earth did she manage to find so many research topics and publish so many results?
Kaise hurried over and shook Euphilia: “Professor! Wake up! We have visitors!”
Euphilia slowly opened her eyes, looked around.
Oh, it’s just Mitina.
Then she promptly closed her eyes again.

Mitina couldn’t hold back and shouted, “Still sleeping? I have big news for you!”
Euphilia sat up groggily: “What is it? I’m really busy here.”

Mitina waved Kaise off: “You can head out for now; I need to talk to her.”
“Okay, Professor, I left the materials you asked for right here.”
Kaise said, stepping back. She cast one last glance at the two elves in the room before closing the door behind her.
Mitina stepped forward, shaking Euphilia: “Get your act together and listen up, things are getting serious.”
“I’m all ears. Just a bit tired right now.”
Mitina furrowed her brows: “What’s with your state? No, wait, is your main body in trouble?”
“A bit. There’s a very unusual guy over there that’s hard to deal with.”
“Unusual guy?” Mitina pondered for a moment, and then suddenly froze, “Where is your main body right now?”
She remembered that Euphilia had gone out, and Yuliya specifically told her before leaving.

From the tone of Euphilia, it seemed like a hassle but not an immediate crisis.
“I’m heading over there now. Do you need me to prepare anything? Should I grab some backup?”

“Yep.” Euphilia nodded, offering a friendly smile, “So Okor, could you cover for me in class tomorrow?”
“Uh? I… um…”
Mitina kindly asked, “Is there a problem?”
“None! Totally no problem!”
“Great, thanks for your hard work.”
The two breezed past Okor and headed outside.
Okor felt a twinge of regret for showing up.
“Ugh, tomorrow’s outdoor class. I don’t have Euphilia’s combat prowess. How am I supposed to handle that…?”
Kaise opened her mouth, finally offering a comforting word: “Professor, do your best!”
